Wednesdays happenings...

Not too  much going on right now. No new pictures to share and no interesting stories to tell. I just wanted to post a little something so that it wasn't a week before I posted my next blog. I also just realized that this will be my last blog in November. Interesting...

I guess one of the most exciting things is that Smeagol may have found his forever home! Nothing is written in stone, but I have a good feeling about this. The lady is supposed to call me Saturday and put a deposit down on him then. If this does end up being is forever home, he'll be a Michigan glider!

Well, I guess that's all I have for now. Until something exciting happens, you know where to find me...

Sugar Glider Close-up...

I had planned on doing this well over a month ago, but for some reason it slipped my mind. LaVaughn and I had taken sever pictures and videos of each of the gliders and I was planing on giving each of them a "Close-up" post. Well, that's in the past now, so I guess I'll pile everything into one neat little blog.

I guess that's all. Hope you enjoy all the sugar glider close-up cuteness! And don't forget the vids! Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Black Beauty Sugar Glider - Kira

Standard (or Classic Grey) Sugar Glider - Sadie
(she's also 100% leu het and 25% albino het)

Ringtail Mosaic Sugar Glider - Logan

White Face Blonde (WFB) Sugar Glider - Pip
(he is also 100% leu het)

Now for the sugar glider videos!

Hello new joey(s)!

When I walked in the glider room around 2:30 today, I automatically knew something was off because Sadie was at the bottom of the cage and she NEVER gets up during the day. I walked quietly over to the cage to see what was wrong. I was shocked when I saw what she was doing. She was giving birth!

I automatically ran and grabbed the camera. The camera has a stellar zoom, so I was able to keep my distance and not disturb her. I'm always scared that I'll cause them to loose a joey or something like that, so I'm always super cautious.

Well, I guess that's it! Sadie and Pip's joey(s) should be OOP around February 11th. :O)

Who knew a sugar glider birth would be so amazing!

This is probably the best one.

Yes, she even decided to climb while she was giving birth.

Bonus Gallery!

Aside from the awesome pictures of Sadie having her joey(s) earlier, I also managed to get some really cute pictures of the mosaic joeys and Milla last night.
