3 Years and 500 Blogs Later...

Well, the day is finally here. I knew this day had been coming for some time now. It's a day of achievement and self satisfaction. A day that I actually feel accomplished and worthy of things that once seemed out of reach. And.. um, well... not sure what else to say, lol. Ok, for those of you who haven't figured it out yet, this is my 500th blog! *insert balloons and jumping smilies here* I was planing on blogging about Dead Island, but I don't have anything together, so I figured I would do an update blog, like always, lol.

The past week has been kind of foggy. We had to go out of state for undisclosed reasons and didn't get back until like 3 this morning. That's all fine with me, I prefer night drives. It's so good to be home and see all of the animals. Everyone seems to be doing wonderful.

As we were doing pouch checks last night, I kind of felt of Kira's pouch a little bit and felt a little bump. I wasn't sure if it was just the way she was laying or if it was a joey. After I yelled for some assistance, I pulled Hans out and sure enough... Kira has TWO joeys IP!! How awesome is that!?! After we put her up, we got Sadie out to see how she was doing. And like always, she had both of her joeys laying out on her pouch to torture us. We did get to confirm that both of her joeys are little girls. And... one is a WFB!! I couldn't be more stoked about this. This will be our first WFB girl that's born here. Oh the temptations, lol.

I know there's more to talk about, but I'm completely blanking. LaVaughn and I have lots to sew anyway, so it's best I stop now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Movie of the day: Gator Bait 2

Here are some pics from random days this past week:

Another cat tree that we got from Gene's dad.

As you can tell, Zoe approves of the new tree.

I just love catching pics like this. :)

Robbie during his bath.

Can't you see the excitement in his eye?

Sirius & Remus

Yes, they play with toys now.

And sit on our fingers. :)

Our new hummingbird feeder.

Our old one.

And now for some hummingbirds:

And Hans:

Oh the wonders of movies...

We have actually been watching a lot of new movies lately. Some are older, some are newer. We watched this one movie called The Reef day before yesterday and it was actually pretty good. It's an Australian film, which automatically makes it ok in my book. I seriously don't think I've seen an Aussie horror film I don't like. It's kind of like Open Water, so if you liked that, then you'll like this. Personally, I think The Reef was WAY better, but that's just me.

We also watched Alice in Wonderland for the first time. I've put this off ever since it came out because of the hatred I had for the cartoon. I just never liked it and never wanted to watch it. I have to say, Alan Rickman (voice of the caterpillar) played a huge part in getting be to watch this. But by the end of the movie, I was glad I watched it. SO much different than the cartoon.

We also watched Rio last night. Come on, who doesn't need to watch a good cartoon every once in a while. It was so out there and just freaking nuts, it was good. I absolutley love the fact that Jesse Eisenberg was the voice of Blu, they couldn't have picked anyone better. I must warn you, if you watch this movie, be prepared to sing the damn Rio all day and night! You've been warned...

We started to watch Rango, but decided to watch Final Destination 5 instead. And I'll admit, I actually liked it. It helped that Emma Bell (The Walking Dead, Frozen) and Tony Todd (Candyman, Night of the Living Dead) were in it, but it would've been good without them. The Final Destination movies are usually so predictable and boring, but they definitely changed it up with this one. Anything you would expect to happen wouldn't. And the ending is gold! One of my favorite endings from the franchise.

Ok, I believe I've blabbed enough about movie for a while. Now it time to talk about Splinter Cell: Conviction, which I beat 2 days ago. There was a lot of hype about this game being good, but too short. I mean, if you played from the moment you rolled out of bed until you were passing you from exhaustion, then yeah, I'm sure you could beat it in one day. Me, I like to take it slow and actually enjoy the game. I think it took me 4 days to beat it and that's playing anywhere from 2-4 hours a day, depending. But anyway, the game was awesome and so worth the buy.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot to mention this! Hans, our standard sugar glider joey, ended up being a minimally marked mosaic!! I couldn't believe it. This is all thanks to Jessica, one of our friends and fellow mods on GC. His marking is very minimal, just a little while stripe on his front legs. He also appears to have some powdering on his back legs, but we're not 100% on that. And we actually got a deposit on him Friday. He will be living in Murray, Kentucky.

Ok, I believe I've said all I had to say. I need to shower and go to town. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace
