Cat scratch fever…
Well ladies and gentlemen, I have great news. Veronica brought her kittens out!!! And let me just say, they are SO cute! And the grand total… Five glorious kittens. There are three girls and two boys. One of the boys is all black and the other is all gray. One of the girls is all black, one is black and brownish-gray tiger striped, and the other is all white except her ears, feet, and tail. We’ve decided… We’re gonna keep them all. Well, probably not. But we are going to keep the white one and the gray one. We’re not sure about the rest. Well I guess that’s all for now. Peace out… - Megan
Back in the New York groove...
Well, here I sit, at a little black desk in front of a very reliable computer typing this late breaking news for all of our readers everywhere, while listening to Shambala by Three Dog Night. Great song by the way. If you’ve never listened to it, I demand you go download it know, cause you’re missing a great experience in music history. Just to let you all know. This blog has nothing what so ever to do with New York. I just thought it was a good blog title at the moment. And another fantastic song by the one and only Kiss. Lets see… Well, I just got back from a dark and dreary drive to the market for my grandma. Hmm, kind of sounds like a little a little something Mr. Edgar Allan Poe once wrote. Anyway, she wanted me to go get a chicken. Yeah, weird request at 9:00 at night. You’d think she’d want me to get some Taco Bell. Cause after all, it is the fourth meal. She’s so gnarly. But I think she’s having some kind of dinner tomorrow. Hmm, what else? Well we watched a couple movies, The Love Guru and Baby Mama. Well, The Love Guru was definitely out there. It is by far, the weirdest Mike Myers movie I have ever seen. Now don’t get me wrong, it was funny, just weird. It’ll give you lines to quote for years to come. So, if you like Mike Myers, Jessica Alba, extremely goofy lines, or have a fascination with India, well then this is the movie for you. I would give it a 7.5/10. Ok, Baby Mama… It was pretty good. But not what I expected. I figured it would be somewhere along the lines of an SNL type comedy, considering it stars two of SNL’s funniest girls: Tina Fay and Amy Poehler. But not so much. It was more serious than funny. If you’re looking for a laugh out loud comedy, then this isn’t the movie for. But if you looking for a mild comedy with just a hint of seriousness, then you’ll love it. I would give it a 6.5/10. Hmm, well no news on the kittens that are now 18 days old! But, who’s counting? There is no way we can get to them. We’ve tried every possibility. I guess we’ll just have to wait until they come staggering out. Well, I guess that’s about all for now. Tomorrow or the next day I’ll probably have a huge picture update. So we have that to look forward to, lol. But until then, peace out and rock hard! - Megan
Kittens, kittens, kittens... Oh, and a movie...
Wow, it's been forever and a day since I posted anything. Lets see... Well, like two weeks ago our pregnant cat, Veronica was walking around outside and looked way smaller. So, we felt around on her stomach and felt wet, swollen nipples. So, we kind of figured she had her kittens. But the downside, she had them under our house! So, there is no way we can get to them. That's a real bummer. They should be like 2 weeks old today. Hmm, oh, like a few days after that, a little baby kitten showed up at our house! It looks like it's about 9 weeks old or so. But that's just a rough guess. She's mostly black, but has really bright orange spots on her. And some white on her chest. She's what you'd call a calico, lol. Her colors are so Halloween themed, it's awesome. Well after about five seconds in her presence, we decided to keep her. And we named her October. It fits so well. Lets see, what else exciting happened? Not too much truthfully. Oh, we watched, What Happens In Vegas. Dude, that movie was so great. Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz are an awesome duo that should be in more movies together. I would give that movie 8/10. If you haven't seen it yet, do so as soon as you can. We rented Baby Mama today, so we'll see how we like that. Other than cats, kittens, and movies I guess that's about it. I'll try to blog a little sooner that two weeks if I can. So, peace out and have an awesome weekend! - Megan
Rock Band 2...
Yes, it’s totally true. There is a Rock Band 2. Huh, that rhymed. I’m so stoked. I knew there was one in the works, but I didn’t realize it was this close. Well the good people behind Rock Band are very misleading in their commercial. They say that the game comes out Sunday, September 14th. But that’s not exactly true. Only the game itself comes out on that date and only for people that have an xBox 360. That’s cool for us, considering we have a 360. But the poor people that have a PS2 and PS3 are being led to believe they get their shot at glory on Sunday as well. I myself don’t think that’s right. To me that’s false advertising. But not to worry players of the Playstation, the game and the game bundle all come out in Rocktober. So, sorry to everyone that doesn’t get to join the rest of howling singers, the shredding guitarists, and even the up beat drummers as they line up at game retailers all around the US. But don’t worry, October is just around the corner. I guess that’s about it for now. So peace out all you far out groovy people.
