Who wants some? Who wants a little?

You, you want some? Oh how I love that movie. And I can't think of a better movie to start my Halloween blog off with. Wait... yes I can. How about The Human Centipede 2: The Full Sequence! Actually, Army Of Darkness is still better than the sequel to The Human Centipede, but I'll get to that later.

I don't have a big speech or anything today, just mainly a bunch of randomness. I really don't have plans tonight. I know the majority of people go to some type of Halloween party, but not me. Even if there was a Halloween party around here, I would go. I live in the boonies, man. Could you imagine, it would be like The Missouri Chainsaw Massacre, lol.

Anyway, time to talk dirty. And by dirty, I mean last nights episode of The Walking Dead. I'm actually still in shock. I mean, I know it's just a TV show, but it hit fast and it hit hard last night. I'm not going to say anything, because I don't want to ruin it for the people that haven't seen it. My advice: GO WATCH IT NOW!

In movie news, we were actually able to watch The Human Centipede 2: The Full Sequence Saturday night. While this one gives you the gore that you would want, it still falls short of the first one. At least to me anyway. There were several things that I loved about it, but there were also things I didn't like. Like the fact that the entire movie was in black and white. I guess Tom Six was trying to give it a "creepier" vibe by doing so, but I just found it annoying. And what the point of having someone bleed all over the place if you can't see the beautiful shades of red? Like I said, this movie definitely gives you the gore factor that you wanted in the first one, which I loved! And there is one really awesome part in the movie that pretty much rocked the rest of the film. And kudos to Tom Six for doing so.

So, was it 10 times more shocking than the original? Parts of it were, but it wasn't as intense as everyone said it was going to be. Was it worth the watch? Hell yes! Come on, what's not to love about a lunatic sewing 12 people together with NO anesthesia! Now time for The Human Centipede quote of the day:

"Open the door! If you don't open the door immediately I'll cut your knees and pull your teeth out one by one without any anesthesia!"

Now for a happier subject. Why not talk sugar glider joeys! And oh my, the two little mosaic boys that are almost OOP are killing me! Kira is at the stage where she lets them hang out on her tummy, which is torture! Oh how I wish they would detach already. Be sure to check out the pics (and video) of them at the bottom.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Time to go harass some trick r' treaters. Not really, I'm actually getting ready to go hop in the shower and then possibly sew  Then I might go to the graveyard and top the night off with a zombie movie marathon!! Until then, you know where to find me...

Happy Halloween!

 Zoe... in the cabinet.

 Look at that bod!

And now she's mad at me, lol.

 Yup, it's a mosaic!

Oh how I love mosaic sugar glider joeys, lol.

There's also some white on his ear.

And look at how pretty that tail is going to be!

Possibly the cutest picture of Kira ever!

 No more pictures, please...

Sleepy little Charlie got to stay in again last night.

He was seriously too sleepy to keep his eyes open, lol.

Pure cuteness!

And now for the video:

Say hello to Skynyrd...

I went up to visit my aunt a little bit ago, only to find her questioning me about a turkey that was in the chicken coop. I told her I knew nothing of it, then she began to tell me that one of her friends, Leonard, brought him to her. The turkeys name, I believe, is going to be, Skynyrd. For obvious reason. He's a really, really pretty little guy. Well, he's not little, he quite large. He's also a younger turkey. He's either just under a year or just over, I can't remember. Anyway, he's awesome and I got some awesome pictures and a video of him.

In movie news, we watched a movie last night called Red State. It's a Kevin Smith film which automatically got our attention. He normally doesn't do horror or thriller, but I guess he thought he's try it out. And I have to say, he pulled it off. A lot of people frowned upon the concept of the movie, but I thought it was pretty good. A lot of truth behind it as well. There were a couple parts that made me go, "What the hell?" but it was all in good fun. Definitely worth the watch if you've got nothing better to do.

We also watched Wrong Turn 4. Yes, there's a 4th! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It, like the other three, is about a bunch of hillbilly inbreds that murder and eat people. It's wasn't too bad, but definitely not one of my faves. The thing that sickened me the most was the group of people that starred in the movie. I mean seriously, you're that dumb? Halfway through the movie I started rooting for the inbreds in hope that they would murder and eat them all! Yes, they were that stupid. I know I sure as shit wouldn't want to be trapped in an asylum with that bunch. Like I said, not the best movie in the world, but it will definitely keep you entertained.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

One of his beautiful feathers after his wing was clipped.

 Exploring his new backyard.

I love this picture of him.

Look at how pretty Miss Serafina is!

 Yup, that's Leo!

What a pretty white winged turkey.

I believe he's a red and white turkey or something like that.

"Is that a worm I see?"

 Gotta love the rooster close-ups.

 Look at Helen now!

 She's practically all black.

Miss white silkie bantam. She still needs a name. Shall we call her Arwen?

 Rooster close-up...

Hello Lady Arwen Silkie of Bantam :)

When the weather outside is frightful, we like to bring out neighbor's cat, Charlie, inside so that he can get warm and cozy. This was the case last night. And... well, I'm just going to let the pictures speak for themselves:

I think it's safe to say he enjoyed himself...  :)

Fun while it lasted...

It's official, the girls are gone... >insert crying face here< I can't really be too sad, though, their new parents are beyond awesome! And out of all the joeys we've ever adopted out, I think these two will be spoiled the most. And that makes me feel SO much better. By the time we got home, we already had an email from Heidi with a picture of the girls in their pouch. I think it's safe to say that we'll get all the updates we can handle.

In other news, we took a detour before we meet Heidi and Tim and stopped off at the health department and got a flu shot. The place was as dead as a cemetery when we got there, but as soon as we filled out our papers, a lady with 4-5 teen boys came in. Then an elderly lady came in and sat in the corner. The boys were all worked up and nearly crying about how terrified they were of getting a shot. The ones that weren't terrified we're just creaming and yelling. I'm still thankful that we got there first and were able to get out before they even started signing the boys up.

After we dropped the girls off, we had to run to Walmart to get a few groceries and some glider fruit. While we were there, I ran into one of our distant cousins that's been working there for nearly 20 years. It's amazing, cause it doesn't matter how many time she sees me and talks to me, every time I run into her, it's like she's never met me before. Some people...

Well, I suppose that's all for now. I'm completely exhausted and just want to go wallow on the couch. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Just thought I'd give another update on the two mosaic joeys that Kira has IP. These two are going to be the death of me. Who knew it would be so hard/exciting waiting on them to come OOP? Ugh, just detach already, lol. Also, the second little ringtail is... a boy!

Here are the pics from yesterday:

This is ringtail joey #1. He has a big white ring on his tail and a white tip. I believe he's also going to have white hands and feet.

Kira trying to nab the mealworm tweezers. She can never get enough mealies, lol.

This is ringtail joey #2. As you can see, the tip of his tail is white with a ring in the middle of the white.

He also has a ring at the base of his tail.

And by the looks of it, he's going to be really light! Unless he colors up more, but lets hope he doesn't! :)
