After that was over, we made it to the interstate were the weather had calmed a bit. We flipped on the radio to see what was going on - only to hear that there was a tornado watch and possible warning for the city that we were driving into! When we made it to the mall and stepped out of the car, we could hear tornado sirens in the distance. Yes! Tornado sirens!! Did that stop us? Of course not! We continued on our merry way.
After we left the mall, we decided to head over to Walmart and pick up some things. After were there for nearly 20 minutes, my aunt talked with a lady in the back and was told that about 30 minutes ago everyone had to leave their items and go to the back of the store. I'm guessing this is when the tornado siren went off. While we were still shopping, we could hear how horrible it was storming and raining... that's when we decided to leave.
I went out while everyone was checking out and pulled the car up to the front of the store. They followed shortly there after. Walmart is in downtown and is also the lowest part of the town. We realized this when we pulled up to the stoplight and watched the small river run across the road. This wasn't even the worst part! After we got past that, we got to and even lower part where the cars in front of us were nearly flooding out! There were a couple cops on the side of the road getting ready to shut the highway down. Luckily, the car made it through and we were able to get the hell out of town.
So yeah, worst shopping day ever! We did manage to get some pretty awesome shirts, though. One being the coolest shirt in the world... a Marvel shirt!! It's so soft and awesome, I love it! We also got a Pink Floyd shirt, Jim Beam shirt and a Homer Simpson shirt. Definitely an awesome, awesome haul. Well, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time...
Love & Peace

Here are the photos:
Look at the darkness in the clouds!
We probably should have gone home.
This was taken in downtown Poplar Bluff. Just look at the massive flooding!
The road was practically gone.
If you look in the back, you can see that the cars are nearly under water.
And lastly... a video!!
