The rise and fall of the chicken egg bandit...

For some weeks now, the majority of our eggs have been disappearing from the chicken house. My aunt had already killed one snake weeks ago, but we knew there was another one. Today when I went down to let the chicken out and check for eggs, I noticed a huge black snake in the corner!

Long story short, it's the end of his era and egg thieving days. So yeah...

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time...

TV show of the day: Hatfields & McCoys --> Last episode is on tonight, can't wait!

Here are the pics:

Super long black snake!

It was 5 feet 4 inches long. That's a big ass snake!

The black snake again.

Snake head.

Another snake head shot.

This is what it was curled up in! O.o

And on a happier, more exciting note... kittens!

This is the only little boy that Susie had.

Possibly the cutest sugar glider joey in the world!

I figured sugar glider joeys would be a nice step up from the Miami Zombie post from yesterday, lol. I decided to take Drake outside for a nice little photoshoot a little while ago and I am seriously glad I did. I think these may be the cutest photos of him ever!! I felt really bad that I couldn't take Sophie out - even though she's a million times better and acts like nothing's wrong with her. But yeah, these photos are the greatest.

Also... today marks the 4 year anniversary of my blog! Can you believe it!?! Just think, 4 years ago today I was writing my first - and probably the worst blog ever, lol. Seriously man, my old work is sad. Not only did I over and under punctuate, but I misspelled!! Ugh, it's awful. But yeah, it's been 4 years.

And on that note, I believe I'm done. Until next time...

The Zombie Apocalypse is upon us!

If you're like all the other people in the world, then you hear about the Miami Zombie Attack that happened at 2PM yesterday in Miami, Florida. I first heard about it from Zombie Zone News - whom I subscribe to on Facebook. I was astonished when I read the headline and couldn't hardly think straight!

As LaVaughn and I were saying, it isn't really a zombie attack until the victim dies, gets back up and repeats the process. Am I correct? Believe me when I say this - keep alert and watch the news! Z-Day could be upon us my friends. And if you're like us, the you have a Zombie Survival Kit and can break it out at any moment.

You can read more about the Miami Zombie attack over at the Miami Herald where the story originated. Their site has now been updated with a VIDEO of the entire attack! I must warn you... it's disturbing! Please be sure to check back frequently for updates as the story unfolds.

I'm going to end this blog with a couple pictures of the victims head. Again, I will warn you.. they are extremely graphic. Until next time - stay safe...

The damage done by Miami Zombie, Rudy Eugene, is unbelievable.

Here, the victim, Poppo, and his attacker, Eugene, lie on the street together after the attack was ended by office, Jose Rivera.

Time for another vet visit...

We had to take our cat, Esther, to the vet today. She's been sneezing and hacking like crazy lately and last night, she was much worse and has stopped eating and drinking - that's when we started worrying.

We didn't have to wait long when we got there before we were called back to the room. The vet looker her over and said that she probably had some type of upper respiratory infection - which we figured. The vet also decided to run a Feluke test, just to rule it out. And thankfully... it came back negative! So yay! After that, she prescribed her some antibiotics and told us to giver her 5mg of generic Zyrtec for 5 days to help with her nasal issues and that was about it.

Since the vet that we saw was new, LaVaughn decided to ask her if she would treat sugar gliders. And... she said yes!! She's only ever seen one sugar glider before, but she's willing to learn and has actually done a neuter before! She also said she could do our fecals and everything! We were seriously stoked, lol.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Time to go give Miss Esther her meds. Until next time...

Here are the pics of Esther at the vet's office:

 Look at those crazy eyes!

You can just tell from her expression that she doesn't want to be there.

Yeah, so if you're animals are infested with fleas... be prepared to pay for Frontline!

Her Clavamox... don't you just love that price tag?

Say hello to the new kittens!

I'm pretty sure I mentioned Susie's new additions a couple blogs back. I know I should have blogged about them by now, but I've been doing my blogs a week past the day they happened and it just gets me all backed up on pictures.

Anyway! These little cuties were born on Mother's Day (the 13th) so they're 10 days old today. I really wanted to get their 1 week pictures, but that just didn't happen. So, with these kittens, I'll probably take just random pictures throughout their childhood.

I suppose that's all for now. Be sure to check out the bonus gallery after the bump...

Bonus Gallery!

I really roughed my arm up in the store the other day while I was shopping. I was pushing the shopping cart down the isle and fell into the cart when the wheel hung. Yeah, it was good stuff. I seriously don't think I've ever had a bruise get as sore as this one has.

 Check out that awesome bruise!

If you're wondering, it does hurt as bad as it looks.

Bart and his cuteness...

It's sickening how cute our kitten, Bart, can be. He can just be sitting across the room staring at you and still amaze you with his pure cuteness. For the past couple days, he's claimed the back of my neck as his new favorite place to sleep. Call me cat crazy, but it's also my favorite. ;)

Not much else to share, just a short paragraph of Bart's cuteness. Until next time...

And now for a bonus video of Bart:

Nothing says fun like old school gaming...

LaVaughn and I have become bored with the majority of our games. There are only so many times you can play L4D, Resident Evil 5 and Saints Row The Third. We came to this conclusion last night and decided to pull out the Playstation 2!

We have quite a few games that go along with our PS2 - games like: GTA: San Adreas, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Resident Evil: Outbreat, Outbreak File #2, Code Veronica, 4 and then some. The ones we were really wanting to play went a little further back in times. The games we used to play when we were kids. Games like: Resident Evil: Nemesis, Survivor & Director's Cut! Yes, all the good classics. And oh wow, the JPEGing on those game, ha!

Aside from the awesome gaming that was going on last night, we also managed to do a little bit of sewing today. Remember the two sets that we cut yesterday? Well those bad boys got sewn up today.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Time to go do something productive... well, probably not.

Love & Peace

Check out all those awesome PS2 Resident Evil games. Can't forget San Andreas and Chaos Theory either!

Resident Evil: Survivor and Resident Evil: Directors Cut.

And one of my personal favorites... Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

Some of LaVaughn's beyond awesome homemade lasagna! Yum!

Nom, nom, nom! Gotta love cheesy lasagna!

Here's one of the cage sets that we made.

And here's the other. Cute, eh?
