Things were all good Monday. We had everything in order and everything was taken care of. We were feeling spontaneous Monday night and decided to go to Poplar Bluff, mainly because they had our Toshiba laptops in stock that we had been eyeballing. Well, we get up there, mess around with the computer settings and see that the damn things are only 2.19 GHz, which means the 2.39 is a falsely advertised speed of what they are when on turbo. Annoying!
So we ditch those, look around at a few others -- all the while whining about coming all the way to PB for no reason. Then, I spot a Toshiba computer that has a fairly impressive AMD processor, which just so happened to be a quad core. Unfortunately, it was only 1.3 GHz, which is insanely low, but had potential because it was a quad and had a fairly decent processor.
So what did we do? We bought them and left!
We automatically started regretting them when we were stopped less than 5 miles down the road getting gas. We tried to suck it up and tell ourselves that they would be okay and that maybe, just maybe we would luck out and get approved by some online tech gurus.
To make a long story short, the quad core wasn't as good as we thought it would be, so we decided to just take them back to Walmart (today) and get the money put on a pre-paid card, which we did.
Luckily, we found a couple really awesome Asus laptops with a 2.6 GHz processing speed, backed by an AMD processor with 4GB of memory and a 750 GB HDD. Woop woop!! And we're even going to be saving $100!
Things seemed to be looking up on the drive home. We stopped and ate and we're merrily on our way. Well, when we got home, I signed into our Paypal account, only to see that we were negative $60! I immediately went into panic mode and started flipping out. After a few minutes of looking around, I saw that some chick who bought cage sets from us well over a month ago just now decided she wasn't happy with them and started a dispute! Wtf lady!? Apparently she's requesting her $145 back.
So now we're having to deal with all of that shit.
Obviously, when you're in the middle of a dispute, you're not allowed to add a debit card, let alone two. We had to buy two, because the price of both of our laptops exceeded the $500 mark, so we had to buy two cards because the cash load limit is $500.
Anyways, I had to create a new Paypal account just to add the cards so that we could buy our computers, which are coming from Ebay, by the way.
Everything was semi-okay at the time, just until I decided to check out. Apparently, Paypal has to take 1-3 business days to verify your fucking cards. AWESOME!
So at the end of the day, we're negative $60, have two cards with way too much money on them to be just sitting around, and we STILL don't have our damn computers ordered. Seriously, can things please just take a break for a little while?
Love & Peace

Here are some pictures from our drive to Fredericktown:
Yes, that is a deer leg. Sickness.
This was real fun to drive around. Had to drive down the ditch and everything!
