Going up the country, baby don't you wanna go...

A couple days ago -- I believe it was Monday -- I was browsing around on Facebook, the Madison county group to be exact, and found a guy that has .22 ammo for sale. My jaw dropped! If you're not living under a rock, then you know how hard .22 ammo is to find nowadays, so I jumped at the offer. He said $6 for 50 rounds, or $10 for 100. I messaged him and asked how much he had. He replied not long after and said that he had 300 rounds all together and would take $30 for it all. That's when I asked him if he would hold it for us until today. He was more than willing to.

Normally we would never spend that much money on something silly like this, cause $30 can go a long way! It's just so hard to pass up bullets, especially considering they're so scarce and hard to come by now.

Anyway, I'm sure you know what follows... we went to Fredericktown today! We asked him to meet us around 6 in Walmart's parking lot, which was fine with him. And just as we were pulling in, so was he. We hurried ourselves and parked next to him. LaVaughn and I both jumped out of the car, but he decided to do business from his truck. He handed us a zip-lock bag full of bullets and reassured us that they were all there. He even told us to count them if we'd like. We just took his word and went on our way.

So we're now the proud owners of 300 MORE bullets!! That puts our total up to 500! Woop woop! We have some old Remington ammo that we keep on the shelf next to our guns, but that's for us to have on had, so it's not included in our hoarder list, lol.

Since we were in Fredericktown and at Walmart, we decided to do a little grocery shopping. We're basically out of everything, so it was a good idea. But it's shopping, so how can it be fun, right? We did manage to get some stuff we've desperately needed for a while.

Our fridge was a disaster, no joke. It's needed a good purging for like a month now. And even with all the new food it in, it looks so bare!! That's how much shit we had piled in that thing! Sigh...

Hmm, what else... I guess that about covers it. I'm ready to go crawl in a corner somewhere. Until next time...

Love & Peace

Here are some pictures of a rainbow on our way to Fredericktown. It's very hard to see in some, but it's there:

And now... our BULLETS! Aren't they so pretty!?
