The Compulsive Ramblings Of A Philotherian

Well, we got the freezing rain and sleet that they called for yesterday, then it started snowing. It covered up all of the ice with a nice white blanket of beautiful, fluffy snow. It powdered down like someone was sprinkling it out of a salt shaker. This went on all evening, all nights, and guess what? It's still coming down today! It's getting to the point where it wont stop!

My aunt said she measured it a little while ago and we were at 8 inches already! Yes, 8 inches!! I don't think it'll stop before we hit 12, but who knows.

I called work a little while ago and talked to Cassie about everything. Luckily, she was beyond cool with it and reassured me that she knew where I lived and knew I couldn't get out. Major relief! I figured I would have had a fight on my hands. Apparently not.

So, our tablets arrived yesterday and they were as expected... awesome!! LaVaughn and I played with them ALL day! I guess you now know why I didn't blog yesterday, lol. They're a little laggy at times, but overall, awesome. It's so sad because I already want to upgrade to one with a faster processor speed. I'm pathetic.

LaVaughn and I totally treat bombed the gliders last night at like 2 in the morning. It's Sadie's fault, she was up barking continuously for no apparent reason. Of course, I thought something was wrong with her and had to go check on her, which led to her getting her face stuffed with treats. Then of course, everyone else had to have treats, which lead to the treat bomb.

So random, lol.

Anyways, I honestly can't think of anything else to blog about. The past couple days have been lazy snow days with absolutely nothing to do. Well, other than play with our tablets, of course. ;) Until next time...

Our lovely little, Taylor, stopped by today. It was SO nice to finally have her come back down! It seems like it's been forever since she's been here. Well, I guess it has really, considering she hasn't been down since January or February. She needs to make her way down more often. Taylor came by today

We spend 95% of the time in the glider room holding the joeys, whom she loved! I'm serious, she didn't put them down once. They loved her too, they ended up falling asleep and staying that way 75% of the time.

While she had the joeys, I got everyone out and fed them treats, leaving Odin and Lilah for last. It was so nice to get to see some of our older joeys again! Lilah is a little chub, no joke. Then there's Odin... tiny and petite little Odin. Lilah outweighs him by a good 30 grams at least.

Did I mention that they're expecting!? :D

I felt so bad when she decided to leave, she didn't want to leave the boys at all! She only has a couple more months before they can go home!

Kyan, our other friend from STL, wanted the TPM boy SO bad! Like he jokingly said he wished Taylor would trip and fall on her way here. He also threatened her a couple times, which he also claimed he was, "Just playing." O.o

In completely random news, LaVaughn and I ordered our very first Tablets yesterday! They're nothing fancy and don't even reach the $100 mark. They're called Visual Land Prestige Pro 7G, lol. That's a mouth full! They're not the ones we originally wanted, but they have the cheaper 2 days shipping, which we wanted.

Also, we're supposed to get a massive snow storm, starting tomorrow morning! Dude, snow! Finally! It's supposed to be sleet and freezing rain tomorrow evening, then turn to snow tomorrow night. If we get everything that we're supposed to, I wont be going to work Saturday.
