That was fast...

For the past couple days, we've been debating on whether or not to sell our last joey, Dean. We've had him for sale for about 3 months and dropped his price twice. It just seemed like we were meant to have him. So last night around 5:00, a lady called and asked if we still had him. Not having much time to think about it, I said yes. Then she started asking about his diet and when we could meet her. I told her that any day in the afternoon hours would be fine. Then she says, "Can you meet me now?" Again, I said yes.

So we both jump in the shower (not together, lol), get ready and leave. The lady got there like 5 minutes before us, but that was no biggy. So we get there and she and her husband are still sitting in the truck and her two kids (at least I think they're her kids) are standing outside. So I got him and his pouch out and walked up to the truck and showed her. She said he was beautiful and handed me the $200 and that was pretty much it. We also have her about a week and a half supply of HPW and a couple days of fruit and veggies.

Everything happened so fast, we hardly had time to think or get upset. It was a really weird and creepy evening. And to top it off, we had to meet them in Ellington. That in itself is creepy enough. I'm just glad that yesterday is over. I do miss Dean though. Now I have the enjoyment of having to get the tags renewed on the car... yay!

Where has the time gone?

It seems like it was only yesterday that Kira had two little hairless joeys hanging out of her pouch. Now they're almost 10 weeks old and going their separate ways. The girl that's getting Sam is meeting us this Saturday. It's going to be sad because Dean will be all alone. Hopefully someone will want him before too long.

Anyway, here are their newest pics. They are getting so big and so gorgeous. Peace...

Well, Sam and Dean are now 6 weeks OOP (out of pouch). It wont be too much longer before they'll be ready for their new home. Sam already has one lined up, but Dean's still waiting. We have no problem keeping him a bit longer though. These little guys just keep getting prettier and prettier as they get older...

Well, Sam and Dean are 3 weeks OOP (out of pouch) today. They are SO freaking cute too. They're starting to look like big gliders, only a miniature version. It's going to be hard to let these little cuties go.

It's already been 2 weeks...

Yes, it's true, the boys are 2 weeks OOP (out of pouch) today. And they just keep getting cuter. They're starting to crawl around really well too, but they mostly just want to sleep, lol. It's going to be hard to part with these two... but we can't keep every joey we have.

They're getting so big, so fast...

Well, Sam and Dean are 7 days OOP (out of pouch) today. It seems like it was just yesterday when they started popping their little bodies out of Kira's pouch. And their hair is starting to come in super fast. Yesterday morning their little legs and feet were still really pink, and today, they're covered in hair. We can't wait for their eyes to open, that's going to be awesome. It shouldn't be too much longer.
