The Walking Dead Finale & A Fond Farewell...

I can't even begin to express my excitement for tonight's episode of The Walking Dead. The arrival of Negan has been long awaited. But I'm not here to talk about that, I'm here to talk about one of our sugar glider joeys, Cordelia, and the fact that she left us today to go to her new home.

We met the proud owners today in Bonne Terre around 4 this evening. They were really nice and super excited to be welcoming her into their home. She'll be the future cage mate of one of our friends joeys, Stephanie. It was a sad day, but also a happy day. She'll be one of only 4 gliders, I believe, so the attention will be undivided.

Speaking of gliders, our poor precious boy, Pip, has a terrible looking lump on his nose -- what appears to be on his nasal cavity. It's most likely an abscess, but it could be anything. We noticed it late last night, so calling the vet today was top priority. They're out of the office today, so I had to leave a message. I practically begged them to save us a spot tomorrow, I can only hope they got the message. Only time will tell.

Well I guess that's all for now. I need to finish up with the glider food and get coffee ready for The Walking Dead. After all...

Negan is coming!

An update, of sorts...

It feels like I'm disregarding the gliders and the joeys -- I think it's mainly because my glider fandom has moved to Instagram, so posting here just isn't as exciting. I still love posting here, of course, which is mainly what this update is about today.

I took new joey pics today, for starters. Only of Loras and Nubbins, the others are too wild and crazy for picture days, so they get a pass now.

Loras has imprinted on our hearts, so he will be staying here forever. We're not sure if we'll pair him to someone or just get him neutered, that's all still up in the air. Nubbins already has a home with a lady in Tennessee, which I'm grateful for. Dale is going to Christina next week to be shipped, which makes me sad. His brother isn't even remotely paid for, so it'll be a while before he goes anywhere. There's also a good chance Cordelia will go to her new home next week or the weeks after. I have to talk to the girl that's adopting her first.

I've been sewing like crazy this week. I have one set sold, possibly two others. I'll have to order fleece for the other two, so it'll be at least a week before I can get around to that. I think I only have a couple yards left. Sounds like it's time to order more fleece!

Oh, you remember how I rented The Division yesterday? Well that was a waste! I didn't get to play it ONE time! Apparently this game has to be connected to the internet at all times and required a HUGE 2.7 GB update. Do you have any idea how slow our internet is? It would take 15+ hours of constant downloading for a update that big. So the game had to go back today, unplayed. Sucks.

Well I guess that's all for now. Please enjoy a sampling of the joey pics that I took today below...

Love & Peace

Saying hello to the month of March...

I'm EXTREMELY low on fleece. I'm serious, I had one yard of fleece left that was sew(able). I ended up sewing that today and tried my best to post it on Facebook. For some reason it wasn't allowing me to post, but they say everything happens for a reason, right? Well after I got the set posted in the group I admin, Laci commented on it and said that she wanted it. Weird. I post sets weekly and she always comments on how she likes them or whatever, but this one she legit wanted. I'm assuming that's why I was unable to post it in any of the other groups.

Call me crazy, but that's how I see things.

After I finished up with that, I took some new pics of Loras and Cordelia. I'm kind of sad that Cordelia is spoken for -- she's so dark, I want to keep her! We have Agnes, but Cordelia's face is so much darker. Agnes may get darker on down the road, though.

Oliver and Ellie's joey is getting so close to detaching! I'm seeing body parts left and right now. It's only a matter of time before he detaches. I'm so anxious to see if he'll be a BFBB or not.

I have to train one more day at Bonnie's tomorrow before I'm left to the masses on Friday. I'm kind of nervous, but I think after tomorrow I should have everything down.

Speaking of tomorrow, the Orkin people are coming out to the house for their yearly inspection. I'm so not looking forward to their 10 AM appointment . Why oh why must everything take place before noon? I don't understand morning people.

Well I guess that's all for now. Time for more Far Cry.

Love & Peace
