Sewing and goodbyes...

We started off the day on a high note with a little sewing, which was nice.  After that, I noticed there was an email asking about our little black kitten, Luda. The lady said she was extremely intersted and asked if she could give me a call. Of course, I said yes. Well, she called and talked for a good 10 minutes about her and other things. By the end of the conversation I felt comfortable enough sending Luda to go live with her - no matter how depressed it made me.

She asked if we could meet somewhere in the middle, so I obliged and said that we could meet in Ironton - she was coming from Farmington. So I packed little Luda up and off we went. I was trying to make myslef more upset than I actually way, but overall it wasn't too bad. She went to a great home where she would be an inside cat and the only cat! Couldn't ask for anything better.

On our drive up there, LaVaughn and I both managed to nab some pretty decent pictures. All of which you'll find below. So, until next time my lovelies...

Song of the day: Foreplay/Longtime by Boston

Here are the pictures that were taken by me on our drive to Ironton:

Absolutely stunning view of the sky and forest.

Today was such a gorgeous day.

And a fantastic day for a drive.

This picture was actually taken by accident, but I really like the way the inside of the car looked.

This reminds me of an 80s picture.

These are the pictures that were taken by LaVaughn on our way to Ironton:

This reminds me of a 70s picture.

Believe it or not, this is an actual RV park on the way to Ironton. I think it's called Big Creek RV park...

Beautiful drive.

Check out the pretty, green hills.

Beautiful evening sky.

Lovely clouds.

This cloud was like perfect.

This is a nice shot of the towers(?) at the Glover Factory.

Some of the gardening stuff at Alco.

Little Luda in the pet taxi... waiting on her new mommy to pick her up. :(
And lastly, the two cage sets that we sewed:

A nice 6 piece breast cancer cage set.

A nice 5 piece pink and brown cage set.

Cage sets, chicken and cats - Oh my!

There actually wasn't too much going on today. LaVaughn and I decided to sew up some of our cage sets, but that's about it. You wont have to strain your brain with reading on this blog - it's mainly about photos. So sit back and enjoy!

Song of the day: Iron Man by Black Sabbath

Here are the pics:

The 80s style cage set.

The rainbow cage set.

The reverse colors of the rainbow cage set.

Big, pregnant Susie crawling out of the car. Mark my words, she will have her kittens in there.

A nice, creepy bug that landed on my shoulder.

The flock:

Gandalf is always lagging behind.

I think Serafina wants to be a chicken.

The turkeys.

The beautiful sky at sunset.

This reminds me so much of an 80s picture.

Crazy eyed Esther.

A tiny flower vase.

Crazy eyed Milla.

Bonus Gallery!

It's been months since the cats have had a bath - so last night, we decided to give them one. As you can tell from the pictures below, none were very happy.

Tiny Luda was the first one to get a bath.

Zoe was the last, but surprisingly the easiest.

Bart didn't want to move from the towel.

And the most difficult to bathe... Una.

Kitten blog...

I don't really have anything important to share today, so I'm just going to talk about kittens and share some of their adorable pictures.

We're down to just Bart and Luda - both of which we want to keep, but know we cant. Well, we might keep Bart. *wink, wink* Seriously though, they're getting so big and so cute. They've always been cute, but they're starting to look like actual cats now and now so much like aliens. I'm just getting so attached to them. Like I've said before, we're really thinking of keeping Bart, but we know we can't keep Luda. And her not having a home yet is really making it hard on us.

Anyway, enough blabbing for now, time for some pictures!

Movie of the day: The Avengers (yes, we watched it and it's awesome!)

Here are the pics:

Fallen bloom.

 Bart's butt and Luda.

Cute little Luda. Love all black kittens.

Nosy Bart.

Bart in the tree. Oh how I love yellow kittens sniffing leaves.

These pictures were taken last night:

Bart playing in the cat toy.

Notice how Zoe is sniffing him in the upper right corner?

Look at Zoe's smug face. She loves the cat toy, though.

Believe it or not, this cat toy/scratcher isn't new.

It was just in storage. Pretty neat for a big pink circle cat scratcher, lol.

 Bart winding down.

Ahh, sleepy time.

And he's out. :)
