Free at last!

I was supposed to work from 1-9 today, but thankfully, I got off at 5!! I'm so extremely happy about that too, I don't think I could work until 9, lol. I'm not too fond of the 8 hour shifts. Tomorrow I work from 1-4, then I have two days off!! Yay!!

Speaking of work, my schedule for next week is totally awesome. I work Monday 4-9, Tuesday 1-4, and Wednesday 1-4. Then I have the rest of the week off!! Boom! Unless of course they change something on me, then I don't know. Hopefully they wont, I'm really looking forward to 4 days off.

Whilst I'm on the subject of work.. Cassie hired 6 new people yesterday! One of the managers is quitting and like 7 other people already quit. It'll help so much, they're always so short staffed. And another plus, I wont be the new girl anymore!!

Omg, I have some very horrible news... Our little mouse, Tony, passed away yesterday. :( It was so horrible to find him like that in his cage. He was really old though. His hair was getting sparse and he was also getting a little hump back. I think he was also a little senile in his last couple months. He will be forever missed. He was such a great little mouse...

After the horrible news I just shared, I hate to talk about anything happy! I can't help but talk about the pictures that Shannon sent of our new little girl. Have I mentioned that we're reconsidering her name? For some reason. Rosemary doesn't fit anymore.

Oh yeah! A stray cat came to our house a little while ago! I know I've never shared pictures of our old cat Princess before, but that's almost exactly what this cat looks like! She's really skittish and doesn't want to come up to us, but I'm sure we'll change that in no time! :)

Here's our little girl!!

Animal randomness and a movie...

Have I mentioned lately that Tony is the cutest mouse in the world? If I haven't, I'm doing so now. Not only is he the cutest mouse, but he's also the sweetest! Ever since we found that plastic ball in our storage unit we've been bringing him in the kitchen and letting him run around like the Mad Hatter! He loves it too. Every hour or so, we get him out and clean his ball out. All the while feeding him treats while he sits in our hands. He's just to die for.

In glider cuteness, LaVaughn had both Kira AND Logan in her shirt pocket a few minutes ago. Talk about cute! Logan was the first to go in, then Kira followed where she layed on top of him. It's sickening how cute they are sometimes.

Also, we watched Taken 2 last night... wow! Now that was something special. It started out a little on the funny side, then got a teensy bit better. It took a few minutes for the action to really  kick in and by that time we were nearly 30 minutes in. I questioned a few things that were taking place at the time - they just seemed so... fake and unbelievable. There was one good part involving a gun, then the movie started spiraling downwards into a vortex of ineptitude. By the end of the movie I just wanted to watch the original Taken and pretend the second one didn't happen. They seriously tried WAY too hard with this one. Of course, Liam Neeson was awesome, but the dialog and the concept of the movie completely blew. The whole time I was watching, i couple help but think that they were trying to prove a point or something. It's worth the watch if you want to say you watch it, but if you want to spare yourself, just stick with the original.

Day 3 of Chloe's RR... with a little Tony on the side.

Chloe made it from Bobbie's to Denise's house yesterday with no issues. So far, Chloe has traveled all the way from upper Michigan to Indiana. I bet she's so ticked off. This is her second day with Denise, so she's not as upset as she was. Denise even managed to get a few pictures! Tomorrow it's off to meet with Steve and Mary.

Aside from that beyond exciting news, we cleaned Tony'c cage last night and even managed to get some new photos of him! He's seriously an awesome little mouse, I just love him. I do feel bad for him, considering his brother died, but it's just too risky to intro a different, stage mouse into his territory. So I guess he'll have to get used to just having us.

And to top off this blog, I also managed to get some pictures of Odinson in my pocket... again! Man he loves it in there.
