Odin update...

Not sure if anyone remembers it or not, but Odin was originally going to live with a lady in Delaware. Everything was good for a while, then she just stopped communicating. I messaged her several times and never heard anything back. Three weeks passed and still nothing! That's when I started looking for another home for him. There were a few people that emailed about him, but no one was serious or they wouldn't agree to feed a good diet. I would keep all the joeys before they went to a home that wouldn't care for them properly.

Well a couple days ago I was talking to Taylor (the girl that helped with Chloe's Railroad) about Odin and our new joey, Lilah. She mentioned how much she loved them and that she really, really wanted to have them. After lots of smooth talking, she finally decided to take them both! As a breeding pair! Taylor is awesome and loves her gliders as much as we do, so I know they're going to the best home ever!! She's coming down for a visit is a week or so to see them in person. Can't wait!

I suppose that's all for now. Time for some pictures!!

Here they are:

Is he not the cutest glider ever!?!

Welcome home, Chloe!!

I talked with Taylor day before yesterday and knew that she would be getting Chloe Saturday. We tried to arrange it where we could meet her earlier yesterday evening, but it just wasn't working out. Well, last night around 20 til 5, I got a call from Taylor asking if we had any plans. I said no, then she said that we could go ahead and meet if we wanted. She said that Chloe was really upset and wanted her to get to her final destination as soon as possible. Of course, I said yes! All I had to do was shower and then off we went!

We ended up meeting her in Arnold around 8 last night. Stacie also wanted to meet up, so we called her throughout the drive up there and told her where we were. She left her house (which is 5 minutes away) as soon as we got to Denny's in Arnold.

Taylor and her friend, Peyton, were eating when we got there so we stayed back and gave them their space. Taylor gave us Chloe, so we were staring at her and all her crabbiness while they finished eating and while we were waiting on Stacie. And man was she crabby! Stacie got there not long after.

We had originally planned on chit chatting for maybe 20 minutes or so. Well... we didn't leave the parking lot until 20 til 10! That just goes to show you what happens when 4 glider people get together for a little while, lol. There's always something to talk about! The talk did venture from PG all the way to NC-17 at one point, but it was all in good fun.

We got home 5 minutes before midnight and fed all the gliders and ourselves. Then around 1:30 we couldn't contain ourselves anymore and had to play with her. We got her out in the bathroom and she did great! She playing all over us, at treats and didn't even want to go back in her pouch. We didn't want her to either, lol.

Today, I talked things over with Shannon and we both decided that it was okay to go ahead and put Chloe and Violet together - considering they're both alone and very lonely. So today... that's what we did! And they hit it off like they had known each other for years! This makes me super happy, by the way.

Okay, I think I need to end this long ass blog and go play with Chloe. :)

Now for some photos of Chloe that WE have taken:

 She was lovin my hair.

As you can see, she was still a little scared.

And of course, she made her way to the shower curtain.

Who cares? Look at that face!

Thinking about wanting down.

Crazy sugar glider eyes!

Is she not the most beautiful platinum sugar glider ever!?!?

I just love her.

And here she is with her new cage mate, Violet.

I think Chloe likes her.

Violet's not so sure, lol.

I don't think she minds, though.

Aww, glider kisses! <3 p="p">
Just a random picture of our demon cat, Zoe.

Odin update with Chloe news on the side...

I realized that I hadn't taken many photos of Odin lately - I've been taking a LOT of the twins, so I thought I would get some of just him today. Of course, he did great and delivered some absolutely beautiful shots. If this boy wasn't taken, I would almost keep him for myself! :D

Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that I took the twins to the store with me yesterday in my bra. It was their first bra experience, so I didn't know what to expect. Overall, they did great. They got a little spooked from time to time when they would hear a bag rattle, but that was about it.

In Chloe news... her Railroad is still going. She made it to Steve and Mary's house where she will spend the night tonight and tomorrow night. Then Saturday, Steve will meet up with Taylor and Taylor will take her back home with her and then meet me in STL when she can. I think that's the way it will go. I just hope it's as easy as it sounds!

Okay, I believe that's all for now...

Here are the photos of Odin:

Is that not one of the prettiest sugar glider faces you've ever seen!?!

Little Odin loves spending time in my pocket.

Here are the photos of the bra-babies in training:

I think the girls will be great bra-babies in the future.

And lastly, the photo of Chloe that Steve and Mary took:

Isn't she a beauty?
