Oh so lonesome for you...

My aunt went to Perryville today to stay the night with Ty for my mom's hearing in the morning. It's lonely down here in our neck of the woods because of that. I didn't even get a chance to sew today, which is weird -- I've been sewing every single day for a week it seems. I am getting ready to cut some stuff out, so that works.

I made up 3 batches of HPW a little while ago, that should last every bit of 2 weeks. It's amazing how much of that we go through anymore, but we are feeding 20 gliders now, so it's understandable. I'd still like to try the GOHPW once. The next time we go to Fredericktown I'm getting some and I'm going to try it. Well, the gliders will.

Did I mention in my last blog that we rescued a lizard? Well if I didn't, now you know. We released the little guy earlier today while the cats were eating. He was super happy to be free -- I don't believe he hesitated once! He was so cute, makes me want a pet lizard...

Well I guess that's all for now. I really want to start cutting out some cage sets, so I guess I'll call it a day. Until next time...

Sugar Glider Headshots - Summer 2015 Edition

I woke up in the mood to take pictures of all the gliders today. Not sure why, I had other things on my mind besides that -- cleaning comes to mind, but oh no. I got them out one cage at a time and fed them some of the 1000 mealies that we got from Doug, then I took an individual picture of everyone, it was nice. I should have trimmed nails along the way, but I didn't.

I didn't take pictures of the joey, this was an all adult glider photoshoot today.

Nail trimmings and cage cleaning will take place Friday. I would say tomorrow, but I have to take my aunt to see her lawyer in Farmington. Should be an interesting afternoon. As of right now I'm... you guessed it, playing The Sims. I am starting to get a little burned out, considering I've played it for hours almost every night for a week now, but that's to be expected. I'm ready to play The Witcher ad GTA for a while. Until then...

Barefoot Village bound...

LaVaughn and I had to go to Fredericktown today, despite wanting to stay in bed ALL day today and never drive again. Since we'll be baking all day tomorrow and doing 4th prep, today was literally the only day we could have made it to Fredericktown.

We started by stopping off at the vet and picking up some more Baytril for Leo and Sookie. Did I mention that she has wet tail? Well she does and (thankfully) she's recovering from it. She's even up running in her wheel now! Anyways, we had to do that because we knew we wouldn't have a chance to until next week.

After that, we went to Barefoot Village and spend a staggering $135 on fireworks. It was a pretty good haul, but still... that's a lot of money for explosives. My aunt and Uncle spent $160 last week, so I think it's safe to say there's going to be a pretty good show this year.

We had to run to both stores after to stock up on last minute things for the BBQ Saturday. Other than that, the day was uneventful. And now I leave you with pictures...
