Ser Loras of the house Tyrell...

Hello again. I have a bit of good news to share -- all of our joeys have officially found homes!! I'm so unbelievably happy! We did take a pretty decent sized price drop with Dale, but his new mom seems like the perfect home, which outweighs all the money he's worth. Of course, none of these homes are set in stone until they're actually picked up/shipping, but we do have deposits on all 3 joeys.

Speaking of joeys, Charli and Tyler's little boy detached on the 1st. He's a gorgeous ringtail boy that weighed 13 grams! He's up to 14 today, which is good. I'm super nervous with this boy, considering, but he seems to be nursing well (knock wood).

I got my W-2s from work yesterday and filed the majority of them on my way home. My return is slightly smaller than last year, but still a decent haul. My house got majorly cut towards the end of last year, which really hurt my 2015 gross. Now what to spend it on! :D

I've been sewing basically every day that I'm not working or out of town. I sewed a set Monday that I sold over the weekend. I was lucky enough to get off early yesterday, so I had plenty of time to cut out a cage set and 4 pouches that someone ordered. I sewed a huge set today that took forever to get done! Thankfully it sold, so my time and effort paid off. I'm really short on fleece now -- I only have two different prints left and some scrap from the fleece I bought weeks ago. Time to order more!

LaVaughn and I just got back from town not too long ago. I got take-out Chinese for everyone. It's been unbelievably long since we've had Chinese, I love it. We also stopped by Redbox and picked up The Last Witch Hunter -- we're actually getting ready to watch that now!

Well, I guess I should end it there. Until next time...

Love & Peace

Love this boy!

Did I mention that Jasper and Mason came home? Well they did. Toby is still MIA, unfortunately.

This girl is so unbelievably sweet.

Here's Charli and Tyler's newest joey, Loras!

Days like today...

I hate days like this, I hate them. Not only has the day been EXTREMELY weird, but we ended up losing our little ringtail boy. It all started last night around midnight when I went in the glider room to check on everyone. I noticed Charli was jumping around the cage without her baby, then I noticed Tyler was out too. Huge red flag!

I quickly started checking the pouches, that's when I heard a faint cry come from the bottom of the cage. The little boy was hanging onto the bridge, completely frozen! After I got him warmed up, I put Charli and Tyler in our small hospital cage and gave them their joey back. I was thinking he maybe just fell off of her and they didn't bother to get him.

Tyler kept moving all around the pouch, jumping in and out, so I ended up putting him in the big cage and left the joey with Charli. Around 3 he was latched onto a nipple, so I figured all was well.

When I woke up today, I found him on the outside of the cage pouch, freezing! I warmed him up and make up some milk replacer. He didn't take hardly any of it, so I decided to put him back in with his mom -- he was extremely filthy, by the way. Charli wasn't paying any attention to him. I tried to put him back with her, that's when she bit his thigh and made him cry. She then bit my thumb extremely hard. That's when I decided not to put him back with her at all.

I tried feeding him some more, as did LaVaughn, I ended up letting him in the pouch with his daddy, who did awesome with him. He cleaned and stimulated him, kept him warm and slept with him. The boy ended up passing about 30 minutes after being in the pouch with his daddy. He died on his back, warm and loved. I held them in a bonding pouch the entire time, it was as peaceful as it could be.

I'm devastated.

LaVaughn and I went to town a little while ago to grab something for dinner. There was a Canadian goose in the parking lot of the grocery store, which was really weird. So yeah, that's our day. I'm so ready for it to be over...

The drive to town.

Love the new shelves at Walmart.

So completely random...

Windows 10...

So, there was a last minute change of plans last night. We ended up meeting Milli last night in PB as opposed to today, which worked better for everyone involved. We met at Petsway, like always, and made the swap. We didn't chit chat for too long, so we parted ways after about 10 minutes.

We headed to Walmart shortly after and grabbed a few things -- nail polish, some makeup, and even a couple movies. It was nice to not have an agenda or have to grocery shop. We ended our night with a moo latte from Dairy Queen and headed home.

We had started cleaning all the drop trays and wheels yesterday, but only got 3 cages done before we fixed dinner and headed to PB to meet her. We finished up the remaining 4 cages today. It's amazing what a difference that makes. I did a partial wipe down on all the cages, but nothing to brag about. I also cleaned the drop trays and swept the room. Aside from that I also vacuumed the house and did laundry. Go me!

I am in NO way bragging about this, but LaVaughn and I got a new mutual laptop just a short while ago. We've been wanting to replace our Compaq for some time now, but never took the plunge. Well a little over a week ago our fan stopped working on us entirely! It's an old computer, we've had it over 4 years. It's been an awesome computer, but it was time to retire the old broad.

We went with an HP, a model we haven't had in years! Like the last HP computer we got was back in 2005 and it was a desktop. We each got an Acer in 2008, then we each got a Compaq, then at the beginning of 2014 we each got an Asus. I'm curious to see how this one goes. It's sporting Windows 10, which is a BIG difference from Windows 7, which is what our Compaq had. We have Windows 8 on our Asus computers, which I despise more than you can imagine!

It's not all tiles, which I love. Tiles are still involved, but only via the start button. There's also a feature called Cortana -- very similar to Siri via your phone. Not sure how I feel about that addition, but aside from that it seems to be a well rounded (and improved) Windows system.

And now that I'm done ranting, here are some pictures from yesterday and today. Until next time...

Pictures from yesterday:

Oh how I'm going to miss my gorgeous Wanda.

Her parents are going to miss her too.

We got the ENTIRE Saw movie collection for $7.50! Wrong Turn 6 was only $5. Pretty good buys on both, honestly.

I'm really hoping this works well on my nails. I think I have an iron deficiency which is causing my nails to crack and peel. Yuck!

Couldn't leave without a couple new colors. And can you believe they were all under $2 each??

Pictures from today:

Our geese have returned!

Bart's annual mini shoot, naturally.

He's such a love.

He was really enjoying showing off his nail scratching skills.

And lastly, our new HP computer. SO EXCITED!
