Ser Loras of the house Tyrell...

Hello again. I have a bit of good news to share -- all of our joeys have officially found homes!! I'm so unbelievably happy! We did take a pretty decent sized price drop with Dale, but his new mom seems like the perfect home, which outweighs all the money he's worth. Of course, none of these homes are set in stone until they're actually picked up/shipping, but we do have deposits on all 3 joeys.

Speaking of joeys, Charli and Tyler's little boy detached on the 1st. He's a gorgeous ringtail boy that weighed 13 grams! He's up to 14 today, which is good. I'm super nervous with this boy, considering, but he seems to be nursing well (knock wood).

I got my W-2s from work yesterday and filed the majority of them on my way home. My return is slightly smaller than last year, but still a decent haul. My house got majorly cut towards the end of last year, which really hurt my 2015 gross. Now what to spend it on! :D

I've been sewing basically every day that I'm not working or out of town. I sewed a set Monday that I sold over the weekend. I was lucky enough to get off early yesterday, so I had plenty of time to cut out a cage set and 4 pouches that someone ordered. I sewed a huge set today that took forever to get done! Thankfully it sold, so my time and effort paid off. I'm really short on fleece now -- I only have two different prints left and some scrap from the fleece I bought weeks ago. Time to order more!

LaVaughn and I just got back from town not too long ago. I got take-out Chinese for everyone. It's been unbelievably long since we've had Chinese, I love it. We also stopped by Redbox and picked up The Last Witch Hunter -- we're actually getting ready to watch that now!

Well, I guess I should end it there. Until next time...

Love & Peace

Love this boy!

Did I mention that Jasper and Mason came home? Well they did. Toby is still MIA, unfortunately.

This girl is so unbelievably sweet.

Here's Charli and Tyler's newest joey, Loras!

Love bites...

Yesterday was such a boring day. Normally Monday's are filled with tales of the weekend -- other than working my ass off, nothing really happened. Same with yesterday, nothing happened! It was a really weird, draggy, and boring day. I guess that's why I didn't blog, things were just off.

On the bright side, I did get my tax check yesterday! Woop woop! If I hadn't had to work today, LaVaughn and I fully intended on going to Poplar Bluff. Since like NO one was willing to take my shift, I had to swallow my pride and go. Not to worry, we're planning on going tomorrow as soon as we wake up. We're going to the pet stores, buying some movies from Hasting's, then topping the day off with a meal of some type. It'll be a good day... I hope!

In other news, Sookie bit me for the first time today. And not just a love tap, it was a full forced "I must safeguard myself and bite you with every fiber of my being" type of bite. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt... badly. It kind of felt like a baby alligator had clamped onto my finger for 4 seconds. She must have it a vein, because blood flow was instantaneous. It's really swollen and sore now, but I'm sure it'll be fine tomorrow.

Just to be on the safe side I soaked it in peroxide and iodine, lol.

While we're on the subject of the white devil, we're actually in the process of ordering it a new cage. Since we have to ship two joeys soon, I decided to go ahead and order their kennels and crates. Since we're getting free shipping via Petco with those 4 items, we thought we may as well order Sookie and new cage and some toys. Unfortunately, they're having some issues with their Paypal check-out process, so I'm unable to complete my purchase.

This happened once before and took nearly a week to get resolved. It's frustrating, I've been trying to order since Sunday.

Well I guess I'll go for now, it's late and I'm so ready to play the game for a while...

Here's my hamster wound:

Now pictures from the previous  3 days:

Hello lady bug on my finger.

I actually saved this guys life.

Quite possibly the best invention ever!

Glider veggies boiling.

Isn't it beautiful?? Gotta love tax season!

In the key of G...

I had ample amount of time to blog yesterday before I headed off to work, but I couldn't bring myself to. Blogging is something I like to do from home, whist staying at home.. if that makes any sense, lol. I've never been the type of person that likes being able to sit at home for a few hours before having to leave for work. I like to literally roll out of bed and into the car.

Anyways, it's time to talk about things I forgot to talk about on Monday's blog!

And I will start with all the fleece we bought from Joann's! At first, we really only had intentions of buying a half yard of lime green fleece for LaVaughn (to match a skull fleece we have), but ended up leaving with 5 half yards. We've been talking with a lady that makes bonding pouches and she agreed to us sending her the fleece and her making the pouches for the astonishing low price of... $8!

We had 4 different patterns and solids at home (minus the green for the skulls) and found the other two Sunday. I'm SO excited to get some new, flat laying pouches. We're tempted to order 8, but we'll probably stick to 6 for now. We're both like mildly obsessed with bonding pouches, lol.

Taylor blessed us with a scale Sunday during our little meeting. She has one that she's used forever, then her boss ended up buying her a new one for Christmas, which is the one she gave us. Since it's a cup style scale, it freaked her gliders out because they weren't used to it. Luckily, our guys were completely content in it as long as they had a yoggie.

We managed to get every single glider weighed Monday, which is now our weighing day. Thank you Taylor and this awesome re-gift that will keep on giving!

I still feel so exhausted from work yesterday. It seems like when I have shorter shifts, they work me harder. Then I can work an 8 hour shift and not feel a thing. I don't guess it helped that I had a new pair of shoes one. They were murder on my feet! I know my old shoes are a piece of shit now, but I think I'm going to resort to them before Saturday.

As soon as I got home last night, I finished filing my 2013 taxes through TurboTax, thanks to a friend from work recommending it. I was a little hesitant to use it at first, considering it's taxes... and online! Luckily, everything went fairly smooth and it says everything was filed.

Now, if everything works out, LaVaughn and I are getting new computers when the checks come! I'm so pumped! It's been nearly 3 years since we got the computers we use now. I found an awesome Toshiba through Best Buy (I think?) for just under $300. It has awesome features with a 2.39 GHz Processor, which is what we look for in a computer. Now lets just hope they're still available in a couple weeks!

Speaking of making a sound investment, I think I may have found the violin I'm going to buy! It's called Mendini. I know, fancy right? After watching my favorite online violin tutor review the violin I was looking at, it pretty much set in stone now. It's by no means a professional violin, it's a cheap starter violin. If this is something I get into and can actually play, then I'll invest in a better instrument. I'm SO excited to give this a try!

And before I go, I'd like to give a quick update on the boys, who are doing wonderfully in their new home. Taylor has been spoiling them non-stop and they're settling in just fine. I really had no worries that they would, Taylor is the bestest glider owner! Hopefully this time next year they'll be having little ones of their own.

I suppose that's all for now. Until next time...

Love & Peace

Unfortunately, I don't think I have any photos to share. If I find some on my phone, I'll edit this and add them at a later time.
