Countdown to The Walking Dead...

I thought I would take a minute to update a bit while I'm waiting on tonight's episode of The Walking Dead. SPOILER!!! Denise dies tonight and she gets Abraham's comic book death. That is all.

Lets see, Friday at work was so sloooow! Oh man, there was like no one after 5:00, which I loved. I was also able to get like 6 copies of the paper while I was there. Why, you ask? Well because my gorgeous Milla is in the Mountain Echo Cutest Critter Contest!! We're sending in votes in basically everyone's name in hopes that she wins.

Friday night Bonnie informed me that I would be closing by myself Saturday night, which I did. Friday's close went well, so I wasn't too worried about it. I honestly think I did pretty good. I'm actually looking forward to more days of closing alone.

Today has been pretty boring. I cut out a cage set today that I'm going to sew tomorrow. I didn't feel like sewing today. I almost did, but I decided against it. I'll save that for tomorrow and the next day.

Well I guess that's all. The Walking Dead is drawing nigh, time for last minute coffee!

Late night pick-me-up -- plus an update!

I haven't had much to talk about the past couple days. I've sewn every single day that I wasn't working -- so basically working on my days off. Works for me, I love the money. I'm sure that's what I'll be doing this week as well. After all, I did just cut out FIVE cage sets! O.o Yeah, that's a lot even for me.

Remember that gorgeous rat set-up from last week? Well surprise surprise, the boys complete destroyed their gorgeous cage. The littler we got for their corner littler box was strung all over their entire cage. They also completely reorganized all of their things, which made the mess that much work. The litter is going bye bye forever. Sorry boys, looks like you'll be pooping on cold plastic.

After I cut out all the cage sets today, LaVaughn and I decided to get out of the house for a while and go to Poplar Bluff. We haven't been in quite some time, so it was warranted. Besides, we received a 20% off your entire purchase coupon from Payless that went into effect TODAY! How is that not awesome? Not to mention, everything in their store is 50% off, so we basically got 70% off our entire purchase. The total was $70ish before the coupon on $59 after - score!

We went to Walmart shortly after and grabbed a few things. Mainly grocery items, but we also left with some scotch tape. We grabbed Taco Bell and gas before leaving town. Speaking of gas, we were able to get E85 gas for $1.59 a gallon!!

I guess that's all for now. It's back to McD's tomorrow, then no telling what else for the rest of the week. Until next time...

We didn't have too many pouches to finish cutting, so I decided to do that today among the cage sets that I was cutting out. No telling how long these pouches will sit here before they're sewn. Sigh... We need new pouches BADLY, like really badly.

In other, non-glider related cage set news... We finished the boys stuff today and completely decked out their cage. It looks AWESOME! I know it's only a matter of time before they completely destroy it, but as of now, it's gorgeous and I'm proud.

As of right now we're wrapping all of LaVaughn's shoes that she got for Xmas. Long story short, mi madre gives us money to buy Xmas gifts with and we then have to buy things for ourselves from her. It's been like this for years -- she has no idea what we're into or what we already have, so it makes sense. Of course, LaVaughn wanted shows, well boots, actually. I'm not sure what I'm getting. Considering a 35mm 1.8g, but I don't know.

Well I guess that's all for now. I suppose I should get back to wrapping. Until next time...
