Weekly iPhone Roundup {3.18 - 3.24}

I'm not gonna lie, I'm back dating this post and honestly can't remember what all happened, lol. I only have the pictures to go by, which doesn't show me much. I mean, nothing really happened that's worth talking about this week. Just the usual stuff.

I guess the only thing different this week is the fact that I didn't go in Buchheits at all and absolutely did not purchase anymore chicks... hand to God. Believe me, I wanted to, really I did. We're maxed out on space, so I absolutely have to stop.

I believe I'll leave it at that. Here are the pictures from the past week!

Beautiful evening drive through Perryville.

The sweetest girl, Ella.

She's a chonk that's obsessed with her mama.

Here's granny Layla.

And baby Hyde.

I wonder how many times I've gone to Taco Bell for my brother, lol.

The best coffee shop in Fredericktown, MO... The Station.

Fork in the road.

Here's our mini Amazon haul. LaVaughn's Airpod case is on the left, mine is the moon and stars on the right, obviously. Then we got some camera protectors and some absolutely fantastic soup spoons. Such a random Amazon haul combo.

Very foggy and nasty day Thursday.

Chopped noodles for the chicks.

My favorite two ingredient bagels for breakfast for the weekend.

I did an egg-wash and added some everything bagel seasoning to the top of them.

Weekly iPhone Roundup {1.21 - 1.27}

Another week gone, another snow storm that resulted in a power outage. Years ago this area lost power if the wind blew in the wrong direction, then the electricity company "fixed" it somehow and we were able to withstand all kinds of storms without so much as a flicker. Now it's polar opposite and the electricity goes off even when it's not storming. It's murder.

Still in Sim mode, so not doing much else. I mean, with the power outage there was no playing, but still. I'm slowly starting to get out of it, though. You can only play the Sims for so long before you start losing it and eventually getting creeped out by the thought. Then you put the game away for 3-4 months before it sounds enjoyable again. It's a strange thing if you think about it.

Not much more to talk about, so I'll leave it at that. Hope everyone has a safe weekend!

Waiting in line at Taco Bell for my little bro.

Watching the second episode of The Last of Us. All I can say is amazing. Everything was awesome, even the amazing clicker.

Tuesday I made some homemade beef stew (with vegan meat) and it was delicious.

Pics of the snow storm from my phone.

Not really a snow storm, but these snow covered trees make you think it is.

It was enough of a snow storm to knock out the power.

Thank God for kerosene heaters.

One more of the heavily snow covered trees.

Poor Max was terrified because the power kept going off and making a terrifying sound to him.

This snow covered oak tree is a beauty.

Ventured out Friday for some items from Dollar General.

The air was crisp and refreshing, as was the bright lighting.

Sale Barn or Bust...

We went to Poplar Bluff with my aunt earlier today to help her with her taxes. Nothing major, just needed to help her sign her checks, My aunt and I originally planned on going to the Sale Barn, but
they were closed, which sucks.

We opted for grocery shopping and stopping by a consignment store. Holy crap, I've never been inside a store that sells USED things that are 50% more expensive than NEW things! Yes, they have some pretty furniture, but damn, I would never pay what they're asking for half of that stuff.

They did have some really cute glasses that were 50% off, which we bought.

We grabbed some Taco Bell after and then headed home. We've basically been playing Far Cry every since then -- unbelievably addicting game, you have no idea.

I know this is random, but tomorrow is my LAST day working at McDonald's. Honestly, I don't want to go... at all! I'm trying to get a girl to cover my shift for me, but I'm not sure how that's going to go over. We shall see.

Until next time...

Love & Peace

Random pics from the consignment shop:
(they're not in order because I got them off my phone via Facebook)

Is this not a scene from Left 4 Dead?

My favorite.

Ugh, the memories...

LOVE!

These are the glasses we bought.

Love these chests.

I need this in my life.

Better view of our glasses.

Creepy....
