Weekly iPhone Roundup {3.18 - 3.24}

I'm not gonna lie, I'm back dating this post and honestly can't remember what all happened, lol. I only have the pictures to go by, which doesn't show me much. I mean, nothing really happened that's worth talking about this week. Just the usual stuff.

I guess the only thing different this week is the fact that I didn't go in Buchheits at all and absolutely did not purchase anymore chicks... hand to God. Believe me, I wanted to, really I did. We're maxed out on space, so I absolutely have to stop.

I believe I'll leave it at that. Here are the pictures from the past week!

Beautiful evening drive through Perryville.

The sweetest girl, Ella.

She's a chonk that's obsessed with her mama.

Here's granny Layla.

And baby Hyde.

I wonder how many times I've gone to Taco Bell for my brother, lol.

The best coffee shop in Fredericktown, MO... The Station.

Fork in the road.

Here's our mini Amazon haul. LaVaughn's Airpod case is on the left, mine is the moon and stars on the right, obviously. Then we got some camera protectors and some absolutely fantastic soup spoons. Such a random Amazon haul combo.

Very foggy and nasty day Thursday.

Chopped noodles for the chicks.

My favorite two ingredient bagels for breakfast for the weekend.

I did an egg-wash and added some everything bagel seasoning to the top of them.

Weekly iPhone Roundup {2.25 - 3.3}

Another week has come and gone. My grandma used to tell me that the older you go, the faster time passed. That is the truest statement I've ever heard anyone make in my entire life. Don't get me wrong, time went by fast at times when I was a kid, but nothing compared to today.

I think the logic behind this is that the older you get, the more precious time becomes to you. When you're little you don't think about things like that. For me, I was mainly worried about having to go to school or summer break being too short. Once you grow up and the reality of life hits you, that's when time runs short.

Anyways, that was a little over the top, lol.

This week as semi-uneventful I suppose. Ended up going home through Farmington just so we could hit up the Desloge Walmart because they're the ONLY place that has Dr. Pepper Zero Strawberries & Cream. Let me just say... worth it!! I'm a huge fan of Dr. Pepper to begin with. I only drink the diet or zero, but both are amazing. I'm not huge on flavored soda, but this one is the best thing ever.

Aside from that, I also made the mistake of going into Buchheits over the weekend and acquiring more baby chicks. I called them Saturday and was told that they had both Silver Laced and Golden Laced Wyandottes. Literally one of my favorite chicken breeds ever! By the time I got to the store, all the Silver Laced were sold, which was massively depressing because that's the one I wanted more. Instead of getting one of each color, I got two Golden Laced and two adorable White Brahma chicks.

I have to stop. This is becoming an expensive addiction.

I guess that's all for now.

McDonald's Americanos are addicting.

Damp and foggy night in Perryville last weekend.

The streets in Perryville always look so creepy at night.

It helps that two cops live next door.

Here are the new baby chicks. Two Light Brahmas and two Silver Laced Wyandotte's.

Here's the highly sought after Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream Zero.

Finally starting my herb seed collection. I found two different types of Basil, Thyme, Dill and Chives. Still have a few more to go.

Here's all the baby chicks snuggled up in a box while we clean their bedding.

All the older chicks (Easter Eggers, Dominiques, Barred Rock) fast asleep.

Their long little chicken necks make me want to squeeze them.

Here's all the younger chicks - I legit love them so much.

But I honestly don't know who couldn't love baby chicks.

Weekly iPhone Roundup {1.14 - 1.20}

This Sims 4 is still taking over the majority of my life. When I'm not working or sleeping, I'm playing The Sims. It's an addiction at the moment and leads me to live a rather boring life. I mean, even if I wasn't playing at the moment, I wouldn't be doing anything worth blogging about. It's far too cold and drab to take any photos. I don't like being repetitive about what I post, which is why I don't go out and take the same pictures over and over again.

With that being said, here are some pictures from my phone this week. Enjoy!

Beautiful sunset in Perryville Saturday night.

One of the prettiest of the year so far.

Still obsessed with the beautiful sunset in my mirror.

I went to McDonald's Saturday night for a coffee and pulled behind an SUV with this AMAZING Umbrella Corporation decal on the back of their car. Literally obsessed!

My purple orchid that I've been nursing back to health for months.

The Last Of Us premiered on HBO over the weekend and it's literally giving me life!. I don't know how many times my eyes were watering due to the excitement!

I'm also still obsessed with Little Nightmares 2 when I'm not playing The Sims.

Probably my biggest Sims 4 fail - this broad returned home from working with $2. Um, excuse me?

Weekly iPhone Roundup - Loads Of Snow Photos! {12.17 - 12.23}

So I know I haven't blogged much this week, but with it being this close to the holidays I really don't have time. Not to mention, I don't really have anything to blog about. I'm blogging kind of late tonight, but that's only because we had to come to Perryville today to spend tonight and a smidge of tomorrow with our Perryville family. We have to grab a few things tomorrow before we head home. We have to cook a LOT tomorrow, plus open all our gifts.

We did run in Buchheit's today to grab a last minute gift for my aunt and THANKFULLY they had exactly what I was looking for! That's all for now, here are the pictures from this chaotic week - including the winter storm we had!

Perryville court house all decked out in Christmas lights last Saturday.

My orphan baby that I'm taking care of.

The lighting between the houses here hits just right.

This is a very unpopular isle in the store, yet it was horribly packed Monday.

Christmas wrapping madness Monday night.

The bald eagle we say Wednesday. My phone camera sucks when you have to zoom.

The beautiful sunset outside of Cherokee Pass.

First bit of snow yesterday around 1PM.

Here's the snowfall a little over 2 hours later.

This was around 3PM.

It was snowing like crazy and our security cameras picked it up SO well!

Especially the one on the outside of the gate, it was really awesome looking!

It was snowing heavily here.

The yard looked so pretty all covered in snow.

It's super hard to capture on my phone.

I had to brave the elements because there was a DVD chilling in the mailbox... literally.

It looked so much better in person, the woods were blurry with snow.

The car was completely covered... and freezing.

Ice and snow all over the car window.

Only 19 degrees at this point, but it got MUCH colder.

Visibility was very low.

But what I could see was beautiful.

View from our mailbox.

It was really coming down.

Snow covered country roads are the prettiest.

This part looks like a snowy path in the woods.

Believe it or not, people were actually driving on the highway.

Christmas lights and footprints.

The glow of the Christmas lights on the snow was so beautiful.

Much to our surprise - after it stopped snowing - the electricity went off from like 8-11pm last night. Did I also mention that it was like 5 degrees out? Thank God for kerosene heaters.

It was nice to have a bunch of battery operated Christmas lights everywhere.

And lanterns in the doorway.

And lanterns on the table.

And a lighted wreath.

This chunky little sugar glider (Theon) was terrified of the silence and darkness. I know gliders are nocturnal, but all of our gliders are used to a nightlight and get freaked out when it's not on.

It was legit 0 degrees on the drive over today. The wind chill was like -20.

Beautiful snow covered gravel road.

It was a snow covered highway too.

The people that own this house and lake had a beautiful frozen over lake to wake up to today.

All of C highway was this covered.

It made for some interesting driving.

And lastly, all the presents for our Perryville family in the backseat of the car - one of my favorite sights!
