Yup, it's that time of year again...

And by "that time of year" I mean the end of the year. This is a day of mixed emotions for most people. Some want to get the year over with as soon as possible (been there!) and some never want it to end. I have to say, this year has been one of the better years for me, but I've still had my ups and downs. I usually do a big "speech" blog of some type at the end of the year, but I think I wrote enough in A Look Back for the next few years, lol.

At the end of each year I can't help but think about everyone that I've lost over the past few years and how differently I spend each New Year/New Years Eve. I go into each new year knowing that there will always be something missing in my life that I know I'll never get back. I have to say, it has gotten a little easier, but I still find myself depressed and on the brink of crying out of nowhere.

Like I've said before and will continue to say, I'm not setting a resolution for this coming year. That's just a way to set you up for something and then disappoint you when you don't complete it. As long as I go into the New Year happy and healthy, that's good enough for me.

I do, however, have goals/expectations for the New Year. Like last year, I want to spend less time on the computer and more time in the real world. Will that happen? Probably not. Does it sound good right now? Of course it does. But it is something I'm going to try to accomplish. I also want to TrY To WrITe LikE ThiS aLL Of NExT YeaR, THougH. Not really...

Another hope/expectation of mine is do try and complete My Project 365. Yes, I'm doing and Project 365 this coming year! So as of Midnight, I'll have to take a photo a day, everyday for one entire year! Sounds like a lot of work, but for someone who takes as many photos as I do, then it should be no problem at all. At least I hope, lol.

So, what are your resolutions/goals/hopes/expectations for the New Year?

Until next year, you know where to find me...

Song of the year: The Times They Are A-Changin' by Bob Dylan

A boring kind of day...

Not too much going on today, it's actually been a little on the boring side. We decided to go to town today and pick up a few things to go in our "kit" (which I can speak of at this time), but by the time we go into the store, we decided against everything we had originally planned on buying. But... we did end up with some pretty awesome things.

The coolest thing being a Fiskars Rotary Blade and Cutting Mat. Both of which will come in handy in the next week or so. And considering we have to sew tomorrow, it will come in handy then as well. Personally, I think they're WAY over priced, but they do their job extremely well.

In other news, we got our 2012 TGI Sugar Glider Calendar in the mail yesterday. It's awesome! Last year Pip was in it, this year it was Hans pictures. Which is extremely cute, I might add. Don't forget to check out the pictures of it below.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Here are the pics:

Look at lazy ass Charlie!

This is what he does every time he comes inside.

After he eats, of course. What a bum.

Quite possibly the tiniest Milk Dud in the world.

Una, hiding her face from the light. What's up with all the lazy cats?

Deagol playing with a monkey.

Isn't he gorgeous?

He's trying to decide if he wants to continue playing or not.

He looks offended here, lol.

And now it's time to bite some more.

Omg, Smeagol is such a little fat ball of cuteness!

He was crying here. He has attachment issues.

And now he's biting my shirt.

And some more, lol.

This is our new Fiskars Rotary Blade.

And our new Fiskars Cutting Mat.

This is the 2012 TGI (The Glider Initiative) Calendar.

And here's little Hans in the calendar. He's Mr. September.

And lastly, the lazy cat named, Charlie.

Lookin' out my back door...

Today was a beautiful day, despite the cold weather of course, but I can deal. Around 4:00  in the evening is the best time to take photos. The sun is just starting to set, but it gives you immaculate shades behind the objects you photograph. The sun setting around 5ish is the only downside of time change. Cause when I'm driving or indoors, I love the darkness. :O)

That's pretty much all I have to say. Just mainly wanted to share some pictures... like always, lol. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Here are the pics:

Yes, that is a plane.

It's almost like Esther is looking at the plane as well.

I love the shading here.

It looks like Susie is also staring at the plane.

Look at how plump she is!

And how crazy, lol.

Such a cutie.

I love the colors of fall.

I followed these Cardinals all over, lol.

Isn't she pretty?

And such a plump little girl.

LaVaughn pointed out that this has a 70s vibe to it. I think I agree...

As well as this one.

This one, not so much.

Just playing with the macro.

Who doesn't love barbed wire? :)

I think it's looks pretty cool. Like black death or something, lol.

This is the lake, but the sun rays completely washed it out.

More Cardinal cuteness.

This is pretty cool.

Isn't he cute?

This is probably one of my favorite bird shots.

I don't know what I love about this picture, but I do. It reminds me of Sleepy Hallow for some reason, lol. Or a hanging tree, both equally awesome.
