Just got home from Illinois...

Well, not just now, but last night. We had to go all the way to Steeleville, IL to meet the lady that adopted Smeagol. Yes, Smeagol went to his new home yesterday. :( I can't be too upset, though, Tammy is going to be a fantastic home. And not to mention, he's going to have a gorgeous platinum girlfriend.

We didn't leave here until like 5:30. The reason for that is because Tammy was coming from Michigan and had to go to Ohio to pick up her platinum. She then had to drive 7 hours before we could meet her, so we couldn't leave until she was like 3 hours away from Steeleville. So, we left and got to Steeleville around 7:40, but Tammy didn't show up until nearly 8. She didn't stay long when we met, so it was just after 8 when we headed home. We had to make a pit stop in Fredericktown to do some grocery shopping, so we didn't get home until 11:30 last night! As soon as we got home, we fed the gliders and then had to feed ourselves. And if you're wondering, we had to eat dinner and midnight! Ugh, so creepy. I think it's safe to say that I'm happy yesterday is over.

Well, I think that's all for now. It's such a beautiful day outside, I think I'm going to take advantage. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Look at those giant sugar glider ears!

Casey's. Where we were parked.

Mmm, Miller!

My last photos...

Just thought I would post the last photos that were taken in 2011. I looked at the clock last night and noticed that it was already 11:30 (no, I didn't party it up last night)! So I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures of ALL the animals. Couldn't think of anything better.

Well, that's pretty much all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

In case you forgot, their names are Tony, Glen and Steve.

I think rat peeking out of a hole would be better.

Rat photography much? Seriously though, I love this picture.

"Can we help you?"

Such a pretty face. <3

Zoe lounging on her crunchy cat mat.

Have you ever seen a cat that can flirt like that?  :O)

Sleepy kitty.

Not! It's time to play!

The rest of these photos were taken in 2012:

Sad little Una.

She looks like she's crying. :(

This was taken not an hour ago. Pretty decent keyboard pic I suppose.

Such a serene winter sunset.

Decaying flower. Well, I think it might already be decayed, lol.

Trees in front of falling water.

Merry Christmas!

Just thought I would pop in and say Merry Christmas to all the lovely readers out there in blogger land. I also have a few pictures to share, but that's nothing new, lol.

Today brough forth another day of sadness and memories of old. It's hard to enjoy yourself when you've lost so many people that were so near and dear to your heart. Even when I was laughing at Chevy Chase on National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation while enjoying my Christmas, I was still overrun with deep sadness. But, this is becoming a yearly occurrence, so I'm learning to deal. I'm going to make it my personal mission to make next year more festive and less depressing.

And with that, I'm going to call it a day. I hope everyone got everything they wanted and had the Merriest of Christmases. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Merry Christmas!
