Just got home from Illinois...

Well, not just now, but last night. We had to go all the way to Steeleville, IL to meet the lady that adopted Smeagol. Yes, Smeagol went to his new home yesterday. :( I can't be too upset, though, Tammy is going to be a fantastic home. And not to mention, he's going to have a gorgeous platinum girlfriend.

We didn't leave here until like 5:30. The reason for that is because Tammy was coming from Michigan and had to go to Ohio to pick up her platinum. She then had to drive 7 hours before we could meet her, so we couldn't leave until she was like 3 hours away from Steeleville. So, we left and got to Steeleville around 7:40, but Tammy didn't show up until nearly 8. She didn't stay long when we met, so it was just after 8 when we headed home. We had to make a pit stop in Fredericktown to do some grocery shopping, so we didn't get home until 11:30 last night! As soon as we got home, we fed the gliders and then had to feed ourselves. And if you're wondering, we had to eat dinner and midnight! Ugh, so creepy. I think it's safe to say that I'm happy yesterday is over.

Well, I think that's all for now. It's such a beautiful day outside, I think I'm going to take advantage. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Here are the pics:

Look at that sweet little face! Oh how I will miss him...

Look at those giant sugar glider ears!

Casey's. Where we were parked.

Mmm, Miller!

Well, we made it...

Yea, as if you can't tell, we're here. And you should know that by my lack of updating yesterday evening. We left our place about 4:00 and made it here around 9:45ish. all in all, it was a pretty cool trip. We saw a goat and a strip club on our way, lol. And this huge night club that had some kick ass spot lights on the roof. Oh yea, the real kicker, we drove straight through Little Rock. That was a blast. Man, that place is huge! We were like right on top of all those HUGE buildings. We're staying at Super 8, all together, it's a pretty decent place. The price is pretty cheap and the place is clean. That's pretty much all that matters. We're getting ready to go to Petco right now, then... you know where we're going. That's right, our glider ladies house. So, don't hate me if I don't blog any time soon...

Well, I'm out. See you on the other side. Peace...

P.S.
Sorry no pictures. We left the camera in the car last night. I'll be sure to bring it up when we get back. I got some pretty kickin' pictures yesterday, you'll love them...

Change of plans...

Well kiddies, it looks like we might be headed for Arkansas a little sooner than we had originally planned. And how how soon you ask... tonight. I know, I know, that soon. But, at least we won't have to anticipate it next week. That is if everything goes well this afternoon. And if so, I'll let you all know when we get to the hotel. If not, then you'll know in a couple hours. We're really wanting to go today and get it over with. So, hope for the best people...

Until then, I'm out...

Ahh, I can't believe I forgot to blog about this. We were thinking (I hate saying that) about staying at Howard Johnson Express Inn in Hot Springs. The rate was cheap and the outside looked decent. Well... that was until we read the reviews and looked at the photos. This place was a nightmare! And from what the reviews say, I don't know why anyone would stay there. Here's one of the reviews:

"The clerk was nice and friendly, but the hotel room was just horrible. My 6 year old said it was "scary". There were holes in the walls, and the carpet was filthy. I wouldn't go sock-footed. I felt uncomfortable about sitting on the bedspread or having my daughter play on the bedspread. Towels were clean, but bathroom was not. If It was clean, it didn't feel clean as there were marks on the walls and discoloration in the tub. Walking from the car to the room was a little scary in itself. Little to no lighting when we arrived at midnight. The stairwells were not secure. Just a very poor experience."

Yea, how fun does that place sound. On second thought, I think I want to stay there... NOT! Ugh, I hate that place. It really freaks me out. I would rather just dish out the extra money and stay some place that was an actual hotel and not a motel...

We were thinking about staying at The Clarion, but we're not too sure. I think that when we get down there, we'll just call around and see what's available. Then that way nothings carved in stone...

Well, I guess that's all I have to rant about for now. Peace bitches...

The planning process...

Hey everyone. Just thought I'd drop you another line or two. As of now, we're in the process of planning our little road trip. Trying to find hotels, seeing how much gas money we're going to need, and so on. We thought we had a pretty nice hotel, but we were wrong. The reviews were really bad and the hotel just looked trashy. So now, we have to find another one. When we do, I'll post some pics of it for you. Other than hotels and what not, that's pretty much all I had to say...

Until next time, see you on the other side...
