We got him!

We just got back from our glider ladies house with our gorgeous little man. We thought he looked awesome in his pictures, he's even more gorgeous in person! He's still a little crabby right now, but he's around new people and away from his parents. It'll probably take him a day or so to get used to us, so no worries.

After we left her house, we decided to hit Petco up and see what we could find. We ended up leaving with some mealworms, papaya treats and a water bottle. It was a pretty nice find.

Guess where we are?

Hot Springs! That's right, we're here and we're ready to get Grayson. I didn't really have much time to before we left to say that we were going cause we left so sudden, so I just decided to wait until today.

When we got up yesterday, we were talking about how much we were wanting to come down here and get him. So after about an hour of debating, we decided to go. We left our place around 6:40 PM and got here around 12:05 AM. It was a pretty nice night time drive, but it did start to rain after we passed Little Rock. Other than that, it was pretty good.

We decided to stay at the Travelier Inn & Suites this time. It's cheap, it's clean and it's got a pool. I don't see why people spend $150 a night on a hotel when all you do is sleep. As long as it's got a nice clean bed, I'm content. Speaking of, the beds in this place are AWESOME! They're super soft with a pillow top mattress.

I guess that's all for now. We're getting ready to hop in the shower (not at the same time) and go get Grayson! Then we'll probably come back here, attack Grayson for a while, maybe go swimming and then order a pizza. Until then, love and peace...

Our awesome, awesome glider lady sent us some more pictures of our future baby yesterday. He's getting so big and so gorgeous. He has such a pretty face, it's awesome. We're so stoked about getting him, only about a month to go.

What a stunner...

Ah, I love days like this. Days when our awesomely awesome breeder sends us pictures of our new little mosaic glider that is absolutely gorgeous! Ugh, I still can't believe that we're actually getting a ringtail mosaic. It's so awesome!

We're wanting to keep one (or two) of Sadie or Kira's joeys to put with him. Hopefully a leu (white glider) from Sadie or a WFB from Kira. Since they're both pregnant, we might actually one... hopefully. If not, we can either wait or just buy a WFB glider from someone else. Only time will tell.

Unbelievable...

Earlier today our breeder emailed us pictures of her new ringtail mosaic joey, Grayson. As we read the rest of the email, we saw where she told us how much he would be on her site to the general public, $500. Which was a steal by the way. But then we saw our price for him... $350!! I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so excited, I almost cried. We emailed her back as fast as we possibly could telling her we were pretty positive that we wanted him. Long story short, we're getting a ringtail mosaic!! How freakin awesome is that! If it wasn't for out unbelievably out of this world breeder, it would never have happened. She's rocks to the highest!

So, here's our future little man, Grayson (temp name of course)...

I don't think I ever mentioned that we're not going to be able to get Meko. We found that out like way over a week or so ago. We were sad at first, but I guess it was for the best...
