Funday Monday! Wait... didn't I already use this title?

I love Mondays. It's a day for rest and relaxation for me. Everyone on Facebook posts funny pictures saying how much they hate Mondays. For me, that's a guaranteed day off! So Monday's are awesome in my book. Then, of course, there are people that post things like, "Yay for Friday, no work tomorrow, weekends are awesome!" and so on.

Okay, maybe those aren't exactly what they posted, but whatevs. When I see those, I'm like, "Screw you people, I have to work all weekend!" It's a endless cycle, but it works for me.

Anyway, lets move on to more exciting news. Like... Kira's joeys that came OOP Saturday night!! It was such a nice thing to come home to! Both little girls look so dark, and the little mosaic girl is more than likely a BB Mosaic, which is awesome! We're trying desperately to think of names for them, but nothing is coming to mind right now. Any ideas? :)

LaVaughn and I spend the star of our day dropping money off at the funeral home for our aunt. She has a burial plan that she pays on monthly, but she was unable to pay it this week due to work, so I went in for her, cause I'm awesome.

After that, we went to Sonic -- which I now know was a big mistake -- for a blue coconut/pineapple slush. Those things are my kryptonite! However, they are not good on an empty stomach. By the time we got home, we were both sick. LaVaughn more than me, which I don't get, considering I drank more than her. They're sitting in the freezer as we speak.

We spent the rest of the afternoon sewing. LaVaughn more than me, this time. There is something terribly wrong with that machine. I HAVE to take my old machine to the shop in Poplar Bluff very, very soon! I hate the machine I'm using now. I spent 70% of my sewing time using LaVaughn's machine. The rest of my time was spent fussing with the damn machine. It was not a good sewing day for me.

Sigh... I believe that's all for now. I can't really think of anything else to blog about. Work was boring, I went through everything that happened today. So, I guess it's time for pictures! Until next time...

Must have slipped my my mind...

I know this is really weird, and you guys probably don't care, but LaVaughn and I sewed in our spare room today. I guess we're calling it the "sewing room" now? I don't know. Anyways, that's where we sewed and it was weird. I'm so used to bringing the machines into the kitchen and sewing, that's the way we've done it for years. Sigh...

We sewed up the 7 jumbo pouches that Hannah ordered, but failed to sew the other brown and blue cage set that we needed to sew! Dammit! I guess we'll leave that for tomorrow. Well, it's not like I can go back in time and sew it up today, now can I?

Geez, you know, I can't think of anything to blog about right now. We didn't really do anything today other than sew. Wait a second, didn't we go to town? Hmm... It's sad, I should remember something that required driving a 10,000 lb vehicle around.

It's an off day, I believe I'm going to go. Until next time...

One down, one to go...

Unfortunately, we only had time to sew one of Nadine's sets today. I was really hoping we would be able to get them both done and sent out tomorrow, but we didn't Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

I could already tell that today wasn't going to be a good sewing day. First off, neither LaVaughn or myself wanted to sew, so that should have been out sign. Then while we were in the process of sewing, our machines kept messing up. LaVaughn's thread kept bunching and mine kept stalling. Cleaning, oiling, and dusting didn't help mine at all. LaVaughn's was fixed with a simple needle change, but not mine.

After a while, my machine stopped sewing completely! I thought I was going to die! I tried and tried to figure out what was wrong with it, but couldn't. It was just dead.

That's when I had to pull out the newer machine, the one that I really don't like and doesn't sew fleece very well. But, what could I do? It's not like I can just run a burnt up machine to the sewing machine repair shop that late in the evening. It wasn't as bad after I sewed a couple things, but I still didn't like it.

Now I'm sad, grumpy, and don't have my favorite sewing machine anymore.

I'm really not in the best mood to continue blogging. Not because of my machine -- well, that's part of it -- but I'm getting hungry and need sustenance. Until next time...

Love & Peace
