Cats, gliders, and Jake?

Hey all. I just thought I'd pop in and let you all know what's been going on.

Well, like two weeks ago Miss Sharon gave us a call and said that she was getting two male kittens. Of course, we were stoked. So, we went over last Friday and seen them. And they are SO cute. One looks just like Garfield (his name is Charlie) and one is solid black (his name is Tiny Tim, but we like to call him T Tiny Tim, lol). They're are so tiny and cute. We go over and see them on a daily basis, lol.

Then yesterday, we were over at our storage unit getting some old cat trees out to take into the shelter when we heard something meowing. We looked and listened for a minute, then we seen it. A little gray kitten up in this tall ass tree. So, we went over to it to try and get it down. We called and called, but it would only inch down. Then after about 10 minutes, it started coming faster. LaVaughn took her sweater off and we held it up so that the kitten could jump on it. Well, long story short, it jumped and we took it home, lol. We went to Miss Sharon's house and was like, "Look what we got you." she freaked at first. Then she was like, "What are we going to do?" Well, another long story short, we're hiding him at our house until her hubby leaves. He is so cute and so sweet. We're not sure what we're going to name him yet. I'll let you all know when we decided.

Ok, Chazz has this place on his tail that requires an e-collar and antibiotics. Well, we got our e-collar in the mail yesterday and had to put it on him. He was SO pitiful! I hated every second of it. He rolled around on the bottom of his cage for like an hour trying to get it off. The he would look at us like, "Why are you doing this to me?" I feel like such an ass. He is a little better today. He's just laying there looking around like he hates the world. I'll be so glad when we can take it off.

Well, Wednesday night we were sitting here talking about how much we wanted to see Jake (my little bro). So, we called my mother and asked to talk to him. Well, he was gone at the time, but was going to call us when he got back. Well, he did and we asked him if he wanted to come down. Of course, he said yes. So then we tried to talk my mother in to letting him come down that night. After much persuasion, it was a no go. But, he did get to come down the very next day. I still say he should've just came down then, like we wanted. Oh well, you can't win them all, lol. So, he's here and we're having a blast.

That's all for now. Until next time, love, peace, and wiener grease...
