Out and about... (Loads of pics included!)

After 3 long months, we finally got to spend the morning in Poplar Bluff yesterday. I know, exciting! But between our car being tore up and trips to deliver joeys, we just haven't really had time.

We started off by hitting the car wash. Our car was beyond filthy and it's been months since it's last wash, so we thought, "What the hell." We had Milla with us, so that just added to the fun. Her eyes looked like they were going to bug out of her head the entire time.

After that, we got gas and headed on our way. On the way there, we hit some massive road work. We had to sit for about 10 minutes. Then the Pilot Car finally came, pulled in a road and began to turn around. Except it wasn't that easy. As he started to back out, his tires started to spin. Instead of going down a little further and cutting his wheels, he just kept digging himself deeper and deeper. Finally, a guy from behind went up and helped him out a little bit. So, the driver of the truck, the guy behind us and another road worker finally got it out and we went on our way.

After we got to PB, we hit PetsWay up first. We went in and started looking around, like always. We were stopped at the reptile section and then out of nowhere, I heard what sounded like the voice of a little girl. It said, "Can I help you with anything?" I turned and looked, and to my surprise, it was a Justin Bieber look alike. Not sure if it was a boy or a girl, the jury's still out on that one. He/She proceeded to ask us if we needed anything or if we wanted to hold a lizard. After about a million, "No thank yous." he/she finally walked off. Other than the sheman, there was another new dude working there. The vibe just wasn't right, so we grabbed some mealworms and went on our way.

After that, we headed over to Pets-R-Us. It's still about the same. Same people and pretty much all the same animals. We only stayed long enough to look at all the dogs (some being free) and attempt to get a pigs ear and some beef sticks for Milla. By the time we got to the register, the lady had walked off and didn't come back. We stood up there for like 5 minutes and then decided to leave.

After that, we went to Hastings. And just so you know, they got a makeover. That just shows you how long it's been since we've been there. We walked around for about 30 minutes, trying to get to know the new setup. We had a basket full of movies, but only walked out with two. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer and Amityville: It's About Time. They had a nice "Buy One Get One For $1" sale going on, so we got them both for just over $5. That's a steal if you ask me. After we got done and headed towards the car, LaVaughn said in a majorly serious voice, "Where the fuck is Milla!?" My heart sunk as I looked in the backseat and saw that she wasn't there. I looked at her and started freaking out! Then she said, "OMG, she's in the floorboard!" I thought I was going to DIE!

After that, we were ready to go home. We stopped by Taco Bell and grabbed some stuff, then hit up McDonald's for Milla. All in all, it was a pretty good day. Hot, but good.

Anyway, I think I've went on enough for today. Until next time, you know where yo find me...

This is probably the dirtiest part of the car
.
Inside the car wash.
.
Yeah, I thought this was cool.
.
Milla's face is priceless here.
.
Still freaked and wondering what's going on.
.
This is just pretty.
.
Right side after the wash, so pretty.

Left side after the wash.

Doesn't even look like the same top, does it?
.
This was the lone road worker.
.
Just a pretty picture of Milla.
.
A cute little mixed breed puppy they had at Pets-R-Us.
.
Some little free dogs. They were pitiful.
.
That little long haired chihuahua in the back wanted me SO bad. It was also free and also tempting...
.
The little black ones were yorkie poos, I think.
.
The other two were just yorkies and the other one was a chihuahua.
.
Check out the grasshopper.
.
This is what we were going to get Milla, but had to leave it behind.
.
Hastings new sign. The inside looked WAY different as well.
.
Taco Bell also had a make over. Not recently, but within the last year.
.
The mealworms we got.
.
Ugh, this gum sucked. It's the new Stride Shift. It pretty much tasted like mint from the beginning and the flavor didn't last long at all.

The Pilot Car sign on the truck. This was taken on the way home

For some reason, Sadie and Pip were in their parachute swing when we got home. And thankfully, LaVaughn got these awesome pictures.

He's beyond cute!
