East bound and down...

The day has finally arrived. A day I've been anticipating for over 5 years -- what does this tell you?? I finally got my CREAMINO!!! Getting her standard 100% het sister was just a bonus.

Thank god for friends like Christina. She had to meet someone in Perryville that was adopting a joey from her, so we said we would just meet her there and pick up the girls. Did I mention that she picked them up from the airport for us a few days ago? Well she did. She's also going to ship Evan and Neville for us later this week. See why she's so awesome?

We didn't stand outside of Walmart for very long -- I'm assuming she wanted to get her long drive back to STL over with. I gave her a hug and thanked her for the 1000th time, then we parted ways.

Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to stop by and see Ty, my mother. I know I've explained this before... Ty is my biological mother, but Judy (Ty's mother) raised me. So there you have it, I have two moms that aren't lesbians. ;) Anyways, she was at work so we stopped by and talked to her for well over an hour. It was nice.

A friend of hers -- someone we used to know years back -- stopped by for a few minutes while we were there. It took her a few seconds and several glances before she realized who we were. She's just as crazy as I remember her being. It made for very awkward conversations. Especially when she tried to hook one of us up with a guy from Piedmont that has seizures. O.o It's okay, though, he hasn't had one for 6 months. << See... AWKWARD!

After we finally left, we had to stop by her house for a quit hello with Jeff and my little brother, Jake. Jeff and my mom have been together for quite some time now. It's nice, he's nice and just all around awesome. Definitely my favorite guy she's ever dated, I love him. He's always so warm and welcoming, it's like I've known him for years.

We talked to them for quite some time, but not nearly as long as her. It wasn't long after we arrived that we left.

So now we're home. The little girls are EXTREMELY crabby. Like they've never been around humans crabby. It's a little depressing, but hopefully they'll loosen up after they're settled in a couple days.

In other gliders related news, Charli's tiny little white joey detached today. I'm not 100% sure what exactly he is, but he's definitely a joey! If he's a leu, that means Charli proved out her 6% het and Tyler his 50%. This little guy doesn't have much fur on him -- he's a tad on the premie side -- so it'll take a few days to decipher exactly what he is.

I bid you adieu, fellow readers. I'm completely and utterly exhausted and need to go do something that doesn't make me even more exhausted...

Love & Peace

The last pictures I'll ever take of Neville and Evan... shutter!

Pictures of Ty, Jeff, and Jakes yard:

Their dog (and them!):

He still looks so little!

But also grown up.

That hair needs some serious trimming, though.

And maybe some hot oil.

I just love this dog:

Down on the farm...

The little chickens that my aunt got from her friend are finally old enough to be moved down to the chicken coop with the rest of the flock. They're still a tad too small to be left entirely alone, but they're big enough to mingle with everyone and get the feel of being a big chicken. Of course, everyone hates them right now, but I didn't expect much less, honestly.

The garage was a nightmare after they moved out. It was so nice to finally get all of that cleaned up and rid ourselves of the rotten smell.

In even more exciting news, Toby came home!! He came home late last night, which was such a HUGE relief. On the downside, his paw is injured. It appears he's been in some type of fight -- or maybe he got caught in something -- and he's also lost a considerable amount of weight. He's been fed numerous times and had his paw medicated. It'll be fine for now, as long as it doesn't start to swell or cause him to be immobile.

In joey news, all three of our joeys are pending deposit. Exciting, yes? Well, it would be even MORE exciting if people would actually commit with a deposit so I know whether or not to bump their ads anymore. I don't mind waiting on people to make up their minds, but when it's been nearly a week it just gets annoying.

The only one I think is a for sure go is Evie, the little leu girl who will be going to a pet home with some STL locals that we met some time back. He said that they didn't have the details worked out yet, but they for sure wanted her. So that's exciting, just need a deposit now.

Speaking of joeys, I guess now's a good time to mention that LaVaughn and I will be adding not one, but TWO new gliders to the mix. We will FINALLY be getting our hands on a creme-ino and her 100% creme het sister. They're coming from Tracy -- the lady we got Cas from -- who lives all the way up in Washington.

Lucky for us I was able to bribe Doug into picking them up at the airport for us. Yay!

I suppose that's all for now. Until next time...

Time for pics of baby chicks:

Of course Camille is right in the middle of the action.

Can't forget about Tig, aka; Roue.

Mr. Friendly and Lilith are always lurking about. I just don't trust her anymore, she's a demon. I guess she's appropriate named.

Tig is such a gorgeous show rooster.

Mu ducks!!!

They make me too happy.

I love nothing more than to just stare at them.

My aunt witnessed Tyrion mating with one of the runners, so we for sure have a hen out of the two!!

Look at those pups in the background.

Stand tall baby chick, stand tall.

Are all your chicks in a row?

Here comes Mr. Mason!

Bart hates the camera so much.

See how offended he is? Not sure why...

Mason doesn't mind.

Nor does his gorgeous mama, Cersei.

She's put on so much weight since she was spayed.

She is such a gorgeous cat.

Now for some random pictures of Fiona (and her two roommates) to show off her coloring:

She's so light and beautiful.

Tracy things she may be a progressive pied!

Just look at those faces!

Declan (back) is such a creeper.

Neal has such a gorgeous face.

As does his sister.
