Fun while it lasted...

It's official, the girls are gone... >insert crying face here< I can't really be too sad, though, their new parents are beyond awesome! And out of all the joeys we've ever adopted out, I think these two will be spoiled the most. And that makes me feel SO much better. By the time we got home, we already had an email from Heidi with a picture of the girls in their pouch. I think it's safe to say that we'll get all the updates we can handle.

In other news, we took a detour before we meet Heidi and Tim and stopped off at the health department and got a flu shot. The place was as dead as a cemetery when we got there, but as soon as we filled out our papers, a lady with 4-5 teen boys came in. Then an elderly lady came in and sat in the corner. The boys were all worked up and nearly crying about how terrified they were of getting a shot. The ones that weren't terrified we're just creaming and yelling. I'm still thankful that we got there first and were able to get out before they even started signing the boys up.

After we dropped the girls off, we had to run to Walmart to get a few groceries and some glider fruit. While we were there, I ran into one of our distant cousins that's been working there for nearly 20 years. It's amazing, cause it doesn't matter how many time she sees me and talks to me, every time I run into her, it's like she's never met me before. Some people...

Well, I suppose that's all for now. I'm completely exhausted and just want to go wallow on the couch. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Just thought I'd give another update on the two mosaic joeys that Kira has IP. These two are going to be the death of me. Who knew it would be so hard/exciting waiting on them to come OOP? Ugh, just detach already, lol. Also, the second little ringtail is... a boy!

Here are the pics from yesterday:

This is ringtail joey #1. He has a big white ring on his tail and a white tip. I believe he's also going to have white hands and feet.

Kira trying to nab the mealworm tweezers. She can never get enough mealies, lol.

This is ringtail joey #2. As you can see, the tip of his tail is white with a ring in the middle of the white.

He also has a ring at the base of his tail.

And by the looks of it, he's going to be really light! Unless he colors up more, but lets hope he doesn't! :)

The day has come...

A day that has been 8 weeks in the making. Actually longer, considering it's the 26th and not the 24th. Today was the day that little Lily and Blossom (formerly Summer and Autumn) had to be separated from their parents, Sadie and Pip. Since they'll be going to their new home this weekend, I needed to see how they did on their own and make sure they were actually able to go to their new home, lol. So far so good. I'll know more tomorrow when I see how much they ate.

Until then, I suppose that's all. Time to enjoy some pics of them exploring their new apartment!

I have a pretty big update on one of the ringtail joeys that Kira has IP. The little one was laying out on mama's tummy earlier today and I was able to see that... it's a boy!!

Here are a couple picture of him:

Bliggity, Bloggity, Boo!

Not much has been going on lately, just the norm. Well, what we did a couple nights ago was definitely far from normal. It was around 11PM when the urge to bathe all of our animals came upon us.

We decided to get the cats out of way way first. We started with Una, who was definitely one of the worst. Then we moved onto Zoe, who was actually really good. We bathed both of them in the sink with ease. After them, it was Robbie's turn. Then it was the big dog... literally. We were actually brave enough to tackle Milla. We took her in the bathroom, which scared her before we even turned the water on. Then we drug her in the shower, which was no easy task. We have a decent size walk-in shower, so getting her in was no biggy. It was the keeping her in that sucked. Long story short, we got every animal in the house bathed and topped them off with a nice, vinegar rinse. Supposedly, vinegar is great for animals skin, coat and eve helps prevent fleas. Who knew!

Oh yeah, we watched Paranormal Activity 3 last night. It was actually pretty good. It was better than the first one, but not as good as the second one. It mainly gives you a back story on the sisters. It's definitely worth the watch, but far from scary.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

"May I come out to play?"

He always gets out when he's this cute. So he basically always get out, lol...

No, Una's not dead, she's passed out on the heater vent, lol.

Stacie's cage set:

Fringe bridge.

Pouch.

Corner hammocks.

Not bad, eh?

How about some of that...

Hey all. Yet again, I couldn't think of a proper title for yet another meaningless blog. Since I have no point to get to today, this is just going to be filled with randomness. Unless of course, I can't think of anything. Then it will just be filled with random pictures, lol.

I guess one of the most important things I should talk about is how awesome The Walking Dead season 2 premiere was. OMG it was AWESOME! We've, like so many others, had to wait a whole damn year on this! I have to say, they made up for the wait. I'm not going to go into details on what happened, I definitely don't want to spoil it for anyone else. The only downside to watching it, you have to wait a whole week on the new episodes. Is it Sunday yet?

In other news, we also watched The Three Musketeers remake by the ever so awesome, Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil). The movie didn't really have too much going for it. The coolest thing about it was Milla Jovovich and she didn't even fit in the movie. I think old Paulie needs to stick to what he knows best... Zombies. One benefit from the movie, it will definitely make you want to watch the original to see how awesome it really is.

In sewing news... we just finished sewing a custom cage set order a little bit ago. I love how it all looks, except for the lime green fleece. It's WAY brighter in person that what it is online, which I hate. But it does look good paired with the purple fleece. Pictures of that are below.

Anyway, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...

I love the tree line behind the lake. So pretty.

 A fallen maple leaf.

Look at Susie's pretty little face.

Those eyes! So gorgeous!

Pip in my bra. He loves it in there.

Look at that sweet little face!

Oh how I'm going to miss these two...

"Nope, no more ferret treats in here." Robbie loved playing with this! He just kept sticking his head in.

All the fleece we had to order. I believe it was just over $30 all together.

Homemade rat food. Well, more like a rat snack. It was just left over chicken stock with a few dumplings and some mixed veggies. They LOVED it! :)

The Halloween pouch. LaVaughn thought of the awesome little tassels, I just sewed it.

 The vines.

One corner hammock with fringe.

Another corner hammock with fringe.

The whole set together. The bridge is the only thing I didn't get a picture of.
