Milla's ride...

We're trying to keep Milla's rides to town on a consistent level -- not just for our own well being. She's not old, but she's getting up there in numbers, so I definitely don't want to have anything like, "We should have taken her to town more!" on my conscious. Not that she's old and dying -- this is all coming out wrong, lol.

Basically what I'm saying it... Mill went to town today! Ha, that sounds better.

We splurged a little at the store today, which is entirely LaVaughn's fault. She bought hair dye and some type of conditioning treatment, where I bought some therapeutic shampoo and Dove Oil Treatment -- can't speak more highly of this product! Then we got nail polish and a couple other things. We rarely ever get things for ourselves, so we're able to treat ourselves every once in a while.

It's funny because every day is "treat the animals day", lol. I swear, we would save so much money if we didn't have animals, but then our hearts would be empty.

Riding along in my automobile...

Today was the first time in months that Milla got to go on an actual joy ride and not just tricked into going to the vet. Saying she was over the moon is an understatement. I honestly thought she was going to explode from excitement.

We used to take her everywhere with us, but had to slowing stop doing so when she ruined the backseat of our car by viciously shredding the seats. Anything would provoke this behavior -- dogs (especially), cows from a distance, people! It became too much and she completely stopped listening when we would pass things that made her fly into a hulk induced rage. You can understand why we shut her off, can't you?

Anyways, we decided to give her another go today. For the most part, she did great! It was when we were a mile from home that she completely snapped and hulked out. We were stopped at the start of our road so that I could take pictures of her... go figure. Of course, up walks this little black and white dog to the car -- completely oblivious that there was a beast 10 times his size sitting behind us. He produced absolutely no threat and seemed as happy as could be to see us.

That's when hulk freaked out and started wailing! She was screaming (you know that GSD scream), barking, and started to assault the backseat. LaVaughn practically got in the back with her and hid her eyes. The poor little dog didn't know what the hell was going off and ran for the woods.

So... where do we go from here? Can we trust her driving down the highway and run the risk of her seeing another animal (or human) and not be able to stop her from destroying the backseat? This is exactly what we faced last time and exactly why we had to stop taking her with us. At least she had today, though. We all had dinner at McDonald's, so it really made her day -- and mine as well!

She has the best German Shepherd structure.

She's stunning.

Look at that gorgeous GSD!

In the summertime...

Well, it's actually in the spring time, but I couldn't think of a better name than that. Anyway, I took massive amounts of pictures today and some of them didn't turn out half bad. The sun was out, but starting to set, so it made for some fantastic lighting. I have to say the biggest plus of the day was the lack of wind. It's nearly impossible to get a good macro shot when the wing is whipping your subject all over the place.

In movie news... We watched a really good movie called The Clinic the other day on Netflix and it was actually pretty good. This doesn't surprise me, considering it was an Aussie movie. I swear, they have some of the best films ever! Anyway, it's about a husband and wife that are traveling across country when they stop at a hotel. After that, the guys pregnant wife goes missing, The movie is based mostly around the wife, and a few other pregnant women (hint, hint). There's not a lot of blood and gore, but the suspense is definitely there. I would highly recommend it.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time...

Bonus Gallery!

LaVaughn and I both managed to get some really cute pictures of Violet in the bonding pouch last night. It's seriously hard for one of her pictures to not be cute, lol. Enjoy...

Look at that beautiful WF glider.

I seriously don't know why she's so gorgeous.

"Do I have something on my nose?"

 "Hey, I got it!"

 "It smells odd."

 "Gimme that!"

"Okay, I'm scared now."
