Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze...

I really wish I was riding around in the breeze at the moment. There's an element in my house at the moment that I am not comfortable with. Ever have day like that? Days where you feel unwelcome, unwanted, out of place. It's days like these that I wish my grandma was still alive -- I never felt unwanted there. As otherworldly as it sounds, I'm actually looking forward to work tomorrow.

LaVaughn and I have kind of gone order happy the past week or so. Wednesday, when we got our rusted Gringott's coins, we also got 3 new Maybelline Color Show nail polishes. We won them on Ebay for a dollar and ended up paying just over 3 to have them all shipped. The 3 pack came with Carbon Frost, Blast of Blue, and Bare Escape. They're all awesome.

Yesterday we got our Wombaroo powder, cause we were literally completely out. We get bee pollen way cheaper on Ebay, so we ended up ordering that there. It's scheduled for delivery today. We also received our computer cord in the mail yesterday. We had to order yet another one! I contacted the people we bout our last one from (only 3 months ago) and told them that it wasn't working. Since we were past their return policy, they couldn't refund in full, but they did refund $4, which was fine with me -- that was half the cost.

What I'm getting ready to talk about now is probably the most exciting thing that we've order since we got all of our new cages last year. WE ORDERED A CRITTER NATION CAGE FOR THE RATTIES!! I'm just so speechless, or elated would be a better word. I cannot wait to get it!! We're planing on make them loads of awesome stuff to go in it, which I can't wait for. It's been so long since they've had a new cage.

I posted on a glider Facebook group last night asking around about the best place to get a Critter Nation cage, which ended up helping a lot! Someone suggest Ferret.com where they had Critter Nation cages on sale. Can you believe that we got the cage for $120 shipped!? Because I can't! now we just have (impatiently) on it to arrive.

I can't believe it's so early still and I'm already nearly done with this blog. I think I need to go take pictures of something, like the joeys. I should really take pictures of the adults, I didn't do that Wed. when we trimmed everyone's nails. I think I have a mission for the evening.

Until then, "happy" Friday the 13th!

Love & Peace

Aren't they getting huge!?

Weird camera affect from the reflecting moon.

Awesome full moon early this morning.

Randomness to end the week...

Well we got the remainder of our Walmart order today. Everything that arrived came in a box half the size of the one the nail polish came in yesterday, only this box had a nice size container of face cream, a big bottle of vitamins, a box of hair oil, and two more nail polishes. For as long as I live, I will never understand the way Walmart ships.

The ducklings are almost too big for the bathtub now. When they dive, they like to kick their little feet up out of the water as they go down, splashing about a gallon of it on LaVaughn and myself. It's super cute to watch, but not so fun to wear. We're considering a mini pool for them for the remainder of their time indoors.

For the past couple nights, LaVaughn and I have been bra training the warriors three. Neal and Fiona do great -- they usually pass right out after we put them in our shirts. Declan is a completely different story. He's so adventurous and outgoing... it's exhausting. He has managed to fall asleep in LaVaughn's pocket a time or two, but not for long. He usually likes to sleep in my hands.

This entire blog is such a mess. It's not composed well or coming together as a whole. It's probably because I'm just not in the mood to post. So... on that note, I'm going to end it there.

Love & Peace

Winter is coming...

I honestly can't believe how cold it's been the past couple days. It feels more like late October instead of the middle of May. LaVaughn and I were miserable yesterday when we went to Farmington. It was cold, rainy, and just completely nasty out! It's not raining today, but it's still cold. I'm sure I'll be begging for weather like this when we hit the 90s and 100s.

I took pictures of the 4 younger joeys a little while ago. The older ones (Dex, Fi, and Neo) are too squirmy outside anymore, so their pictures have to be taken indoors from now on. And since they're all staying here, there's no need for bi-weekly photo updates. I'm still in the process of pimping the other 4 joeys out.

Well actually, our leu boy, Lucian, found a home! He'll be going to a lady in Virginia. She's like so super nice, she'll be a great home for him. Not to mention, she's like head-over-heels in love with him already. We have another lady interested in our plat boy, Lestat, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Lynsie already paid for Kili, like 2 weeks after he was OOP. Tracy is having second thoughts about getting Fili. Apparently she's going to be teaching some type of class at church and needs to downsize on some of her cages. Therefor, she doesn't want to add another glider at the moment. She was talking about maybe sending us her BFBB girl, but I think she's decided to keep her. Fine by me, but I do hope we can get a sibling of hers in the future.

So there's a good chance Fili will be available. I'm hoping he will be able to find a home, which hopefully wont be a problem -- just wait until you see his pictures from today!

Part of our Walmart.com order arrived today. We received 2 nail polishes in a box the size of a box of cat food. It was SO pathetic! The nail polish we got is so awesome. It's Maybelline Color Show Street Art, then another type of bronze Maybelline nail polish. My absolute favorite brand! I already painted my nails with it, which you'll be able to see below.

LaVaughn and I decided to go for another drive tonight, which is becoming a new normal for us. Unfortunately, about halfway down our road, I realized that I left the camera. I was distraught! Luckily, I had the phone with me, which I used to take photos today. I am so lost without that camera within my reach. I know I had to fret about it for a good 10 minutes before I finally shut up. Poor LaVaughn.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Until next time...

This is a very cryptic looking picture of the church with the sunset behind it.

Gorgeous sunset through the field.

Gotta love those African sunsets, lol.

Gorgeous!

I believe this was LaVaughn's favorite. With good reason!
