Who's a birthday girl?!

Today is LaVaughn's birthday, so I thought I needed to say a little something about here. Well, I'm actually not going to say too much, because she NEVER reads my blog, lol. She knows how much I love her and that she's my other half.

We had planned on going out today, but she preferred to stay in. So wanna know what we're up to today? We're playing The Sims baby! Oh brother, aren't we wild cards. But her, we did just get City Living, so take that as you will.

Anyways, I did SO well on gifts this year. I got her an AMAZING pair of Jessica Simpson shoes that are to die for! I also got them at an amazing price instead of their normal $100 price tag. I also got her some Batman gloves that match her Batman jacket to a T. And aside from her amazingly perfect birthday card, I also got her the Rock Nude pallet that she's been wanting for weeks.

Last year I got her stuff that she wanted (including more eye shadow), but they were just like "meh". I was on point this year.

Happy Birthday, my precious sister. I love you more than you'll ever know!

Dazzle me with shoes...

I did a complete 180 today and feel SO much better! I honestly didn't think I was going to, but I did. As soon as I woke up yesterday, I knew the day had gone to hell due to my dizziness. Today I haven't felt much of anything, just kind of refreshed!

The day started off exceptionally well for LaVaughn, considering her shoes from ShoeDazzle arrived not 5 minutes after I woke up. She ordered 6 pairs of shoes and a purse for under $150 -- insane, I know, but that's her thing. Some would say the same thing about the price of my camera lens. Anyways, I did manage to sneak a pair of shoes in her order, now I just hope they fit me!

For some odd reason, only 3 pairs of shoes and her purse arrived. There's absolutely nothing said about 2 packages on the tracking. You'd think that would be something that they would mention. I looked and it still says in transit, so I guess the other package is on it's way.

Since we don't believe in using our personal accounts to order things from, we always buy a pre-paid debit card to use on sites like ShoeDazzle. Since she didn't spend all of the money that she put on the card, I took it upon myself to use the rest. There was a really awesome purse at JustFab that I BADLY wanted, but there just wasn't enough left on the card. I needed only .70 additional cents, mind you. Even with the 75% off for first time VIP members, I still didn't have enough. Luckily, I found another purse that I liked that had an even better snakeskin design. I am giving up a lot in the way of space, but hopefully it's enough.

I ordered it the day after she ordered her stuff, so I'm hoping my order processes soon and I get my purse by Saturday.

I don't really have much of anything else to say, we're getting ready to head to Poplar Bluff for the evening to gallivant, so I really need to shower and get ready.

Love & Peace

Here's her adorable zebra print ShoeDazzle purse.

It has 3 zippered compartments, which I hate in a purse. Luckily, she loves that.

Awesome snakeskin heels.

More animal skin boots.

These little kickers.

As you can tell, the snakeskin are my all time favorite.

And here they are, LaVaughn's ShoeDazzle lineup.

The ones missing are the un-highlighted.

One more for good measure.

Tomorrow is a long time...

So LaVaughn and I decided to take a drive to Poplar Bluff today and spend money that we didn't really need to spend. It's literally been months since we've gone to Poplar Bluff, even longer since we went for pleasure. It was nice.

We hit up Petsway, the shoe store next door (where we spent too much money), Hastings, and then topped off our night with Wendy's and a Moo Latte from Dairy Queen. Doing what we did today is the exact reason why we don't go to Poplar Bluff.

We did get a really nice pair of shoes. Only one pair each, we were good. You'll also be happy to hear that we didn't get one animal at Petsway, not even any animal supplies! I'm surprised too, considering they had 3 adorable male rats that I so badly wanted to adopt. And we refrained from buying a lot at Hastings. We had about 5 movies picked out, but left with only one. We also left with a pack of The Walking Dead socks that are awesome! We got 5 pairs of socks for $12.99! How cheap is that?!

And now it's nearly midnight and I'm blogging. How pathetic am I. I'm left with guilty thoughts and empty pockets. And to top it off I have to be at work in 12 hours for another terribly 9 hour shift... in a restaurant with NO air conditioning. Someone call OSHA. Until then...

Love & Peace

-Megan
