Who's a birthday girl?!

Today is LaVaughn's birthday, so I thought I needed to say a little something about here. Well, I'm actually not going to say too much, because she NEVER reads my blog, lol. She knows how much I love her and that she's my other half.

We had planned on going out today, but she preferred to stay in. So wanna know what we're up to today? We're playing The Sims baby! Oh brother, aren't we wild cards. But her, we did just get City Living, so take that as you will.

Anyways, I did SO well on gifts this year. I got her an AMAZING pair of Jessica Simpson shoes that are to die for! I also got them at an amazing price instead of their normal $100 price tag. I also got her some Batman gloves that match her Batman jacket to a T. And aside from her amazingly perfect birthday card, I also got her the Rock Nude pallet that she's been wanting for weeks.

Last year I got her stuff that she wanted (including more eye shadow), but they were just like "meh". I was on point this year.

Happy Birthday, my precious sister. I love you more than you'll ever know!

Post Friday The 13th Hype...

I was going to blog yesterday, but I was busy working and making deals, so I decided against it. Besides, I imagine hundreds of people blogged yesterday due to the popularity of Friday The 13th. There are people that are terrified of the day and there are people that say it's a day of good luck. Personally I feel it can go either way, just like any other day of the year. I know I've said this before, but I took my drivers exam (and passed) and got my license on Friday the 13th in the month of October. So for me, good luck, but I didn't base it on the fact.

Anyways, I sewed the owl set that I cut Thursday night yesterday and thankfully sold it! The lady that keeps us in cage set business, Laci, wants one of out of that fleece now, as well as another lady that wants the exact same set! Looks like we'll be picking up for of that fleece Monday! I'm in NO way complaining, that was a $50 set and I am more than happy to make another!

I love vending. Now that I can make the Glider Bucket on my own, I can sew every day if I want, even if LaVaughn isn't up for it -- which she rarely is anymore. You suck LaVaughn do you hear that! Haha!

Speaking of cage sets, a lady that I talked to earlier this week messaged me last night and said that she wants to buy a cage set now. She sent the money for it today, so I started working on it as soon as I got up. I only cut it out, I plan on sewing it tomorrow. I also cut out an extra one, just in case.

I've been stressing about the money we've spent on fleece lately, but luckily I've sold a couple cage sets and Brittany did just pay $20 for the lime green chain that we bought earlier this year from Cindy in the co-op -- still not sure why I agreed to that. SO stupid! We still have to buy solids for all the fleece we get from Gini, all of which I hope we can get at Joann's on Black Friday.

Speaking of Black Friday, Walmart released their Black Friday ad today! OMG, I'm SO excited!!! We're not going all out this year on electronics for everyone, we're also keeping the number of gifts to a minimum. That's beside the point.. There are SO many things I want! The majority of them being movies, games, and TV shows. There's also an awesome deal on a wax warmer, a couple things for my aunt, night pants for us, and a couple other things for other people.

Thankfully it starts at 6PM again. I cannot wait!

LaVaughn and I actually just got back from Walmart. She picked up a couple things (eyeliner and some type of hair chemical) and I picked up a couple things. I, too, got eyeliner and some hair products. Well one thing, I got Dove Quench. I hope it helps tame my frizzy hair. I looooove Dove products, it's my absolute favorite line of hair care products. I'll put it to the test tomorrow.

Lets see, have I covered everything that I needed to talk about? I probably wont be blogging tomorrow. I'm sewing when I get up, plus I'm going to finish trimming the gliders nails, clean the rat cage, vacuum, shower and go to church with my aunt because she just loves to go anymore. The Walking Dead is also on tomorrow, so there will be no blogging before or after that. I'm praying that we get a glimpse of Glenn tomorrow, or maybe just a little shred of hope that he's alive!

Oh, now I remember! I bid on Vol 1-3 of The Walking Dead comics and won! I'm SO excited! While we were on our way to town I also got the notification that the two that dickweed chewed up sold, double yay! I only lost out on a $1 and the shipping cost of the comics, so it's not all bad I suppose. Okay, I need to quite. Until next time...

Love & Peace

Haha, just posted this on my aunt's Facebook. She's gonna die!

Happy Birthday to... you!

LaVaughn's (#@) birthday was today. And like every other year, we spent the majority of our time at home. We did venture out a little while ago so that she could spend her birthday money. She didn't get anything from me except a card. That's my own fault, though, I gave all of her gifts to her last week and earlier this week. Remember the panini press and eye shadow? Well I also got her a pair of shoes that she accidentally opened. At least she was surprised!

My aunt made her cake and decorated it. I cooked her what I hope is one of her favorite meals, fry bread taco style. It was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself.

Like I said, we went to town a little while ago where she picked up some things for herself -- I picked up a few things for myself as well. ;) We also did a small amount of Christmas Shopping while we were there (we picked up 2 things) and also grabbed some fleece. I'm actually taking a break from cutting the fleece. I'm doing an 8 piece set, I think it'll be adorable!

I'm in a fairly good mood right now, which is polar opposite of how I was earlier. My aunt's dog, Max, DESTROYED 15 of 20 flat rate packages that were just dropped off today. It doesn't get much worse than that, right? WRONG! Omg, that stupid, moronic dog also got the TWO things that I've wanted more than anything in the longest time... The Walking Dead comics that I just ordered. While they're not destroyed, they're in pretty bad shape and I'm completely pissed off.

I'm planing on selling them and hopefully buying some new ones.

Well now I'm in a pissed off mood again. I really need to get back to cutting. I want to make sure it's done tonight so that I can sew it tomorrow. But for now I need coffee... Oh, and to finish cutting.

Love & Peace

So pretty!

Here's the owl fleece we got today.

Here are The Walking Dead comics that I got today:

Look at that.

Destroyed!

Ugh.

Pip enjoying some mealies. He gets, on average, 10-15 mealies a day to help him put on weight.

Plus he's on antibiotics. This is also a cute picture of Sadie.

I love this hate, I hate that I didn't buy it. This picture also made me realize I needed something for dark circles. I have them and they're terrible.

Here are my new items. Dark circle eraser and some new Baby Lips!

Eve was weak...

There, I said it... I'm WEAK! Over the past week, I've submitted a couple different orders to Walmart.com -- a select few items are being shipped to the house, some was site to store and the rest were pick up today. Well today was the day that the majority of everything was ready, including LaVaughn's birthday presents.

Since there was nothing to do outside due to the rain, LaVaughn and I went to town to ship of 4, yes 4 cage sets, grab a few household cleaning supplies (Febreze, plugins, etc), cat food and our Walmart items. Surprisingly, picking up the stuff was fairly easy, just kind of drawn out due to the multitude of items, but not too bad. It took longer to get away from the loon in the cat food isle. She was nice and all -- I swear I'm not trying to be mean -- but damn, she would not relent on making conversation!

After we got done at Walmart, we made two more stops (one being Sonic) before we headed home.

I couldn't resist giving LaVaughn her birthday gifts. We were having ham and cheese for dinner and what better way to prepare them than on a panini press! There's honestly no way I could have kept them from her for an entire week. I'll take her to the movie and buy her dinner on her birthday to make up for it.

She loved the panini press and the makeup very much, in case you were wondering.

After we swallowed our food, we cleaned the house like crazy! Well, she deep cleaned the bathroom, I vacuumed every room in the house, cleaned the rat cage, and swept the glider room. I also washed pouches and started glider dinner, which LaVaughn finished while I showered -- I dyed my hair brown again, no more dingy copper red! Woohoo!

The zebra set we sewed yesterday did not sell well at all! It's the color combo, I'm telling you. I posted it everywhere and only got a few likes. I ended up lowering the price to $30 just a little bit ago and it sold in 5 minutes. I'm SO thankful! <3 p="">
I'm going to close with one of the most exciting things that we picked up at the store today -- The Walking Dead Monopoly!!! OMG, it's SO awesome! We're actually getting ready to play right now! So, I guess I should go then, right?

Love & Peace

-Megan

The few pics I took today:

The Walking Dead Monopoly Survival Edition!

Oh how I love it so!

The Nudes by Maybelline -- gotta love Maybelline eye shadow.

And lastly, her panini press by Hamilton Beach. It's awesome and makes killers sandwiches!

Cats, toadstools and Christmas shopping??

I'll start off by saying that I do NOT know what type of mushroom I'm about to show you. I know it doesn't look like your typical vibrant mushroom, so I honestly don't know what to call it. It's a giant shroom and toadstool seemed fitting. Plus, that's what my aunt called it, so that's what I'm sticking with.

Anyways, before work yesterday my aunt showed me a small cluster of mushrooms growing in the yard. She notifies me of things like this because she knows how much I love to photograph basically anything -- mushrooms being high on my list. I had over an hour to burn before work yesterday, so I took advantage. It was hard to manage with such harsh light (it was just before 1 PM), but I made it work the best I could.

The entire time Bart was attacking me, rubbing on me, the camera, and trying to climb my legs with those talons of his. I got a couple pictures of his signature Bart post that I get every other time I'm outside and he's digging his nails into my legs. It makes for some beyond adorable pictures, so I'm definitely not complaining.

I sewed up a set today as soon as I got up. Well, I had been up for an hour printing out shipping labels and packaging cage sets, then I sewed. After LaVaughn got up we started to work on Laci's other 3 sets that she's ordering, but we decided against it when Laci told me she wasn't ready to pay yet. I ended up cutting out a set in record time, then we sewed it.

I posted it and haven't had ANY interest! It's honestly not the best color pattern, but it's not that bad. I figured someone would have wanted it. I always get panicky when sets don't sell within a few hours. Not sure why, but I do. It makes me feel like a failure or something. That's beside the point.

LaVaughn and I started CHRISTMAS shopping last night! Can you believe it?? I can't believe it's that time already. We wanted to go ahead and get a jump start on a few things, because we all know Christmas will be here in no time. We didn't buy too much, just like 5 things. We got 3 for Judy and 2 for Bob. We also got ourselves a couple things... I know, it's terrible. But there were a couple Walking Dead night pants that neither of us had, so we had to. PLUS we got this AMAZING Walking Dead Monopoly game that I can't wait to get.

These are just things we wanted, we're just using Christmas as an excuse to get them for each other without having to admit to buying ourselves something for no good reason.

Speaking of gift giving! I got LaVaughn the BEST birthday presents this year!! Like I can't even comprehend how awesome they are. I normally get her a bunch of crappy things, like last year I got her some makeup from E.L.F. and a hair gift set, which she loved (the hair stuff). This year I got her two things that I know for a fact she's been wanting... A panini press and a Maybelline eye shadow pallet! She's been wanting a panini press for months -- she's also been eyeing that same eye shadow for  well over a month now, but she's too cheap to buy it for herself. Oh, I almost forgot! I ordered her a pair of shoes that she wanted on eBay. I'm not sure if that'll be a birthday present or not yet. I totally won her birthday gifts this year.

In other news, Charli and Tyler's newest little joey should detach within the next week or two. I'm seeing body parts like crazy now, including an awesome little ringtail! I can't wait to see what this baby looks like. I'm not sure why, but I have an awesome feeling about it.

Have I mentioned that Chloe has two more joeys IP? These will for sure be her last two, Boone got snipped so there will be no more. It's really sad, but I'm also relieved. I'm hoping they give us am awesome sendoff, like a TPM and a plat girl, that's what I would love.

While I'm on the subject of joeys, I took some new pics of Norman today. My god, he is so cute! And he did so well for me, not one peep. Okay, that's all for now. It's time for the new episode of SVU, I gotta go!

Love & Peace
