Regina & Zelena

So, it's not normal for me to be blogging on a work night, but I wanted to share Ginny and Norman's newest additions with you all!

They have a standard girl (Regina) and what appears to be a white mosaic (Zelena). I'm talking with a fellow breeder to figure out her color, because I'm stumped! There's no way this pair can produce leucistics, so this joey almost has to be a white mosaic.

What's even more exciting is we have NEVER had a white mosaic before, ever! This is a first time thing for us and I couldn't be happier if that's what she years. Years ago I used to dream of one day producing a white mosaic, but it never happened. We've always had darker gliders, so all of their joeys would be nearly as dark as them.

I cannot wait to see what this girl looks like when she's colored up more!

Here's Regina:

Tis' the season to be busy...

I hardly know what day of the week it is right now, let alone put aside time for blogging. As much as I hate to say it, I'm going to have to take a mid-holiday break from expressing my feelings through written words. I love blogging, I love it so much, but sometimes it's extremely overwhelming -- especially when I have a million things to do and worry about.

The Christmas week will soon be approaching, whether we like it or not. Part of me is so ready for it, part of me isn't, and then there's part of me that wishes is was already in the past. Between having to worry about my moms court appearance this Friday, long work days this week, countless cage sets to be sewn, having a house and glider room to clean, my aunt and uncles thing at church this coming Sunday (same day as my birthday), getting my license renewed BEFORE the 20th, and a million other things, there is just NO TIME!

In my free time I honestly don't want to be on the computer, I want to be planning things, cutting fleece, sewing, reading my Walking Dead comics. taking pictures -- which I hardly do anymore, what's up with that?! It's time for a break. This will probably be my last post until after Christmas, which is going to such and make me sad. I don't like getting behind on my blogs, but I also hate blogging about nothing, or SEWING! Dear Gods, there are only so many things to be said about sewing and cage sets. You've seen one, you've seen them all.

I will leave you with the latest happenings around the house. One of the most exciting things is pertaining to our gliders -- Ellie and Oliver were mating Saturday! How exciting! Not what we originally planned on doing, letting them mate, I mean, but it happened so they're officially a couple now.

With that being said, we're thinking about re-homing Agnes. We don't have a spare cage for her and her dad is still intact, so that's really our only option. We're also thinking about letting Evie live with Doug and Kyan. She's a monster, to be honest. She barks constantly and doesn't like us at all, so it makes sense.

I know I haven't really mentioned this much, if at all, but I'm up to 500 followers on my Instagram page! Super exciting, something I didn't expect at all! Most people have like 2500 followers or more with their glider pages -- not sure if those are paid followers or now, who knows. I'm slowly making my way to 1000, hopefully I'll be there sooner than later.

I also applied for a Paypal debit card, for which I got approved. Excited about that as well.

Not super exciting updates, but it's something. I'm honestly not sure what else to say, so I guess I'll leave it at that... for now. ;) Until next time...

Happy Holidays!

-Megan

Ginny's eyes are just gorgeous -- I'd like to add that she'll be separated from them within the next couple weeks. :(

Post Friday The 13th Hype...

I was going to blog yesterday, but I was busy working and making deals, so I decided against it. Besides, I imagine hundreds of people blogged yesterday due to the popularity of Friday The 13th. There are people that are terrified of the day and there are people that say it's a day of good luck. Personally I feel it can go either way, just like any other day of the year. I know I've said this before, but I took my drivers exam (and passed) and got my license on Friday the 13th in the month of October. So for me, good luck, but I didn't base it on the fact.

Anyways, I sewed the owl set that I cut Thursday night yesterday and thankfully sold it! The lady that keeps us in cage set business, Laci, wants one of out of that fleece now, as well as another lady that wants the exact same set! Looks like we'll be picking up for of that fleece Monday! I'm in NO way complaining, that was a $50 set and I am more than happy to make another!

I love vending. Now that I can make the Glider Bucket on my own, I can sew every day if I want, even if LaVaughn isn't up for it -- which she rarely is anymore. You suck LaVaughn do you hear that! Haha!

Speaking of cage sets, a lady that I talked to earlier this week messaged me last night and said that she wants to buy a cage set now. She sent the money for it today, so I started working on it as soon as I got up. I only cut it out, I plan on sewing it tomorrow. I also cut out an extra one, just in case.

I've been stressing about the money we've spent on fleece lately, but luckily I've sold a couple cage sets and Brittany did just pay $20 for the lime green chain that we bought earlier this year from Cindy in the co-op -- still not sure why I agreed to that. SO stupid! We still have to buy solids for all the fleece we get from Gini, all of which I hope we can get at Joann's on Black Friday.

Speaking of Black Friday, Walmart released their Black Friday ad today! OMG, I'm SO excited!!! We're not going all out this year on electronics for everyone, we're also keeping the number of gifts to a minimum. That's beside the point.. There are SO many things I want! The majority of them being movies, games, and TV shows. There's also an awesome deal on a wax warmer, a couple things for my aunt, night pants for us, and a couple other things for other people.

Thankfully it starts at 6PM again. I cannot wait!

LaVaughn and I actually just got back from Walmart. She picked up a couple things (eyeliner and some type of hair chemical) and I picked up a couple things. I, too, got eyeliner and some hair products. Well one thing, I got Dove Quench. I hope it helps tame my frizzy hair. I looooove Dove products, it's my absolute favorite line of hair care products. I'll put it to the test tomorrow.

Lets see, have I covered everything that I needed to talk about? I probably wont be blogging tomorrow. I'm sewing when I get up, plus I'm going to finish trimming the gliders nails, clean the rat cage, vacuum, shower and go to church with my aunt because she just loves to go anymore. The Walking Dead is also on tomorrow, so there will be no blogging before or after that. I'm praying that we get a glimpse of Glenn tomorrow, or maybe just a little shred of hope that he's alive!

Oh, now I remember! I bid on Vol 1-3 of The Walking Dead comics and won! I'm SO excited! While we were on our way to town I also got the notification that the two that dickweed chewed up sold, double yay! I only lost out on a $1 and the shipping cost of the comics, so it's not all bad I suppose. Okay, I need to quite. Until next time...

Love & Peace

Haha, just posted this on my aunt's Facebook. She's gonna die!

Everybody's working for the... Monday?

I've done it! I've finally fished all of Laci's sets AND pouches! I've also washed them all and packaged them up to be shipped. I am awesome! All that was left to be sewn was the Glider Buckets, which LaVaughn normally does. I decided to suck it up and give them a try. Much to my surprise, I did it! And they turned out well! I was so proud of myself!

I haven't really done much of anything else today, just sewed and did some laundry. LaVaughn and I also held Ginny, Oliver, and Ellie for a while, which was nice. It's been a fairly boring day.

Since I went so long without blogging last time, I mainly just wanted to check in today with a small update. I'm honestly still reeling from yesterdays episode of TWD -- not fun! I need to keep myself occupied and try not to obsess over it.

Love & Peace

-Megan
