This entire week has been off. There's just something about it that's not right - a missing element, perhaps. I really do hate weeks like this. The beginning of the year was a bit off, but not anything like the past week. It makes you feel so draggy and just bla. It's not depression - believe me, I know how that feels - and it's not really loneliness, it just something! At the end of the day, I'm just ready to go to sleep and wake up with a new slate in hopes that it's better.
Off of that subject... Taylor is planing on coming down this weekend to pick up Lilah - I know, time flies! I'm a bit discouraged about it, Lilah just doesn't seem like she's ready to leave her parents. It may be because she's the first joey in over a year that is actually leaving at 8 weeks. She seems so young! I'm not sure why, but joeys always end up staying well past 8 weeks here. I don't know what it is. That could be contributing factor, but I really feel she's not ready to leave her parents. I think it would be best if I push the meeting to next weekend.
I almost forgot! First, let me give you a bit of a back story...
Sadie and Pip have been separated since Monday due to a dominance wound on the back of Sadie's neck. A dominance wound/mating wound is something gliders get when they're a little too aggressive with each other during a display of dominance or during mating. This was an old wound of Sadie's from a month ago and now, thanks to Pip, it's opened up again. She's living in a smaller cage and, since the wound is small, getting small doses of antibiotic cream.
Okay, back to my new...
When I had her out applying her medicine last night, I gave her a yoggie and rubbed her tummy. I got kind of freaked at first because I felt a tiny, little bump and no large joey. My heart was racing by the time I decided to rub her tummy again. Gliders will sometimes cannibalize a joey for whatever reason they see fit. As I went back to get a second feel - very gently, I'd like to add - I felt her older joey! WHEW! Then I felt off to the left and felt another joey! A joey that's been freshly dropped IP!
This has never happened before. Sadie does her usual two sets of joeys a year and that's it! So her first little joey will be OOP next month and the following month... she'll have another! It's very possible that she has two newly IP joeys, but that's too hard to tell at the moment. Cause if she does, the larger joey is covering him/her. Definitely exciting news!
That's not all the exciting news I have... Kira and Logan are also expecting!! I was feeding everyone yoggies yesterday and noticed how large Kira's belly looked. I got her out of the cage, gave her a yoggie and proceeded to rub her tummy. Sure enough, I felt TWO little bumps! These two should be OOP around the end of March. Can't wait to see what she has!
Well, talking about all the gliders and upcoming joeys has really seemed to boost my mood. I think I need to go give everyone a treat now, just because they're cute...

A dead zombie is a happy zombie...
Well we decided to go out and shoot again today. Only today, we had targets! We found a pretty cool normal target online and printed out a few of those, then we found the ultimate target... a zombie head! Seriously, it's awesome.
We shot with the same 3 guns today - a .22 Rifle with a Scope, a .22 Automatic Rifle & a .22 Handgun - we even had a target for each one! We saved the zombie targets for last, in hopes of getting some practice in first. We've gone through nearly 4 boxes of ammo in the past couple days. I think it's safe to say we're going to need more, lol.
Well, I guess that's all for now. Just wanted to share the excitement and the photos.

Here are the pics:
The main shooting target of the day.
Lavaughn's target after using a .22 Rifle with a Scope. She got 7/7, definitely not bad!
My target after using a .22 Rifle with a Scope. I got a 7/7 and if you're wondering, yes, I got a bullseye! :D
A box of .22 Ammo. We just used the crappy Remington Ammo today.
LaVaughn's target after using a .22 Automatic Rifle. She got 6/6.
My target after using a .22 Automatic Rifle. I got 3/6. Could be better, could be worse. :)
LaVaughn's target after using a .22 Handgun. She got 2/5 or 3/5, I can't remember. And in her defense, the sights are a bit off on that handgun.
My target after using a .22 Handgun. In my defense, I used a killshot once and then the paper fell and started flapping. I'm not trying to justify my bad shooting, I pretty much such with that handgun, lol.
Our badass zombie target!
LaVaughn getting ready to shoot.
LaVaughn's killshot pose. Seriously, this is my absolute favorite picture! It looks so badass. :D
LaVaughn's zombie target after using a .22 Rifle with a Scope. I think it's safe to say she can protect herself against zombies. Check out that bullseye!
Me getting ready to shoot.
My killshot. Better watch out... it's deadly. o.O
My zombie target after using a .22 Rifle with a Scope. Yup, I do believe my zombie is dead! :)
Ah, that feels nice...
You know the feeling most people have when they hold a baby? Well that's the feeling I have when I hold a gun. There's just something so freeing and dominant about holding a gun, almost like you could accomplish anything, you know? No, you probably don't know. I'm just weird like that, lol. Well, LaVaughn is too, so it works out.
Anyway, LaVaughn and I decided to shoot country style today by setting up some cans on a table for target practice. Yup, that's how we roll. We used a .22 Rifle with a Scope, a .22 Handgun and Miss Sharon's .22 Automatic Rifle. It was good stuff. Not only did we hit our cans, but we shot our little table to pieces. That made me feel bad, considering my aunt gave it to us, but shooting the table didn't even cross my mind. Not sure why... but it was all in good fun. We plan on shooting again tomorrow, so hopefully we'll think of better things to shoot at.
Well, I guess I've rambled enough for now. Until tomorrow, stay safe and stay loaded...

I think it's safe to say we can shoot a can if need be, lol.
The Pepsi can didn't get it as much, but it still got some. ;)
This is a picture of my leg from last night. I have 3 mysterious scratches that appear to be from a medium to large cat... or possibly a werewolf!
Zoe laying in LaVaughn's arms.
Zoe again. Seriously, how is this cat so gorgeous?
Milla's day out...
Yesterday was such a beautiful day! I still can' get over how nice the weather was, it was in the mid 50s! And since yesterday was so beautiful, I decided to take Milla outside for a nice long brushing. And believe me, she needed it!
"Do we really get to stay outside today!?!?"
"Yay!"
Lets play!
Time for a break by the tree.
Big, scary GSD bark!
"Are you looking at me?"
"Hey, what's that?"
"Never mind, just the cats."
I absolutely love her German Shepherd profile.
That gorgeous German Shepherd face isn't too bad either. :)
Random sun shot.
This is where she found the bone.
And now I'm holding it so she and the neighbor's dogs don't fight.
"Hey, no fair! I found it first!"
Is it horrible to think your dog is unbelievably beautiful?
"Can I please have it?"
"I'll be good and sit right here the entire time."
"Yes!"
"You have to let go of it before I can eat it."
"Hurry, the other dogs are coming!!"
Random picture of Susie that LaVaughn took.
Beautiful picture of Milla in the sun that LaVaughn also took. :)
After she got brushed, she playfully fought the neighbors dogs, chased LaVaughn a couple times and even found an old ass bone. I think it was a good day for her, lol. We probably wont have many more days like yesterday, January and February are some of the coldest months for us anymore.
Anyway, I suppose that's all for now. Be sure to check out the LOADS of pics from yesterday, they've adorable! Until next time, you know where to find me...

LaVaughn's Hump-Day Randomness...
I can't really think of anything important to blog about today, so I'm mainly going to be sharing some random pictures that LaVaughn's took last night and today. She takes such lovely photos, I don't know why she doesn't do it more.
Anyway, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time, you know where to find me...
