Nothing for myself...

Why must I always feel guilty at the thought of buying something useless for myself? I'm so cheap anymore, it's pathetic. I'll see something int he store and think, "Ooh, that's nice!" but when it comes down to actually buying it, I back out. It's like this massive feeling of guilt falls over me at the mere thought of spending the money on myself. At least I'm not alone here, my sister is the same way.

Now when it comes to animals, it's a different story! If there's something neat that our animals don't have and we think they'll like, we'll get it. Or, for example, if we see two little baby rats int he pet store that need a loving, forever home then there's no stopping us!

Okay, the reason for this rant all because there's was an awesome little bottle of perfume in the store today and we bought it! Yes, we bought it and there's nothing you can do about it! Bahahaha! I apologize for that outburst, I'll try to refrain myself next time. ;)

It's just really funny, because the entire time we were considering buying it, I was thinking to myself, "Man, we could get the animals something with this $4." but I know that's semi crazy. Please tell me there are other people out there like this!?! Please... anyone?

Okay, one that note - I'm out!

Love & Peace

Song of the day: Ballad Of Jane by L.A. Guns

This is the delicious perfume, Yes Yes.

Look at all the colorful candy canes!

You know you want to eat them. :)

Well wasn't that just a big ball of awesomeness...

I made the unfortunate mistake of renting The Walking Dead from Redbox earlier today...

Worst. Mistake. EVER!

The entire time I was telling myself, "How bad can it be, really? It's a zombie game! It has to be fun!" WRONG! I can put up with cheap graphics -- if I couldn't, I wouldn't be able to play old Resident Evil games -- and I can put up with a bad story line. As long as killing the zombies is fun, I'm happy!

As soon as I turned the game on, I could tell something wasn't right. It was just too creepy to be good. I didn't let that stop me from continuing, though, so I proceeded to play. As soon as the game started, I noticed that it looked very comic bookish. I was thinking, "Oh, this is cool. They're paying homage to the comic series." Let me just say that they take their tributes a little too seriously!

That's pretty much what the whole game was like, an in action storyboard. It was awful! They used the real characters from the TV show, which I thought was going to be cool, but everyone sounds so awful! I only got to see Hershel and Bobby, but that was enough. I couldn't even remotely get used to the controls. I mean, if I was forced to, I could -- who would want to play a game where is asks you what moves you want to make!?

After about 15 minutes, I had to turn the game off and walk away. It was probably one of the most unappealing games I've ever played - it was horrible! I can't wait to return this hideous game...

In other news... well, I don't know if this is necessarily news worthy, but I'm pretty excited about it. While I was at the store earlier today, I noticed that there was a section of Christmas stuff that was left over from the holidays. As my eyes gazed upon endless rows of red and white treasures, they stopped at something that I had previously wanted -- and never got... MINI candy canes!

I saw these devilish treats last month, but never picked any up. So this was a major bonus to my day! I'm sure my stomach and teeth will regret it later, but whatever.

As you can see, the majority are gone...

While we were at the store, LaVaughn made an awesome find in the produce section... mini peppers! We live in a very small town, so we rarely ever get good food like this! Peppers are like my favorite food every, so you can imagine my excitement.

It's an addiction...

A sad, sad addiction. It's nearly impossible for me to refrain from buying candy canes in bulk when they're .25 a pack. I was good and only bough 4 boxes... of the peppermint! Then I bought two boxes of jolly ranchers and ONE box of some other kind that I dropped off at my aunt's house. Don't worry, I gave her some of the others too. ;)

While I was in town, I found myself drawn towards the Christmas clearance section. I'm actually glad I did, I found a cat toy stocking for $1.25! The cats have like 20 of these, so I thought these would make good toys for the rats. Minus the catnip toys, of course.

I also got a couple pictures of a jet going over. I don't normally pay attention to jets, but the sky was so clear and the trail of fire and smoke was just so prominent!

And lastly, I also got a picture of phantom Milla! She was super far away from me, so the zoom distorted the frame and caused a super blurry shot. It's pretty interesting, though.
