Fall is in the air, as is binge watching TV shows...

It's begging to look a lot like fall outside and I'm loving every minute of it! Fall is my favorite time of year. As much as I love winter, fall even trumps that. I look forward to late September and all of October every year. I love November too, there's something so inviting about the fall season and all of the holidays to follow.

With that being said, something I love JUST as much as fall is receiving packages in the mail, like today. LaVaughn ordered seasons 1-3 of Chicago PD and I can't wait to binge watch every single episode again. Such an amazing show and so much fun to watch.

I guess that's all for now, kiddos...

See, this is so fall..

And the lovely Chicago PD series.

Farewell September...

I really had no intentions on blogging today. Especially considering my last blog was so pressing and... ending. Well I thought that since I have so much gliders news to share that I would just go ahead and blog about it. And not to mention, it's the last day in September, the last day before my favorite month of the year... October.

Ellie (previously Perla) has came around so much! Cindy kept saying how sweet she was, and I believe it too! Cindy is a small scale breeder, such as ourselves, and has only the sweetest joeys. Well Ellie apparently didn't react well to being taken from her parents and sent off with two complete strangers in a completely different environment. So this, in turn, made her very crabby and unhappy. She also didn't want to eat at ALL for the first week. She literally didn't touch any of her food, she would only drink little bits of water and eat yoggies.

She's a completely different girl nowadays. She settled in, she plays all the time, and she eats like a champ! Unfortunately, we still haven't had any luck getting her in with the trio. It's 70% our fault now, because we've completely stopped switching pouches, but we do switch blankies, so we're still semi on track.

Violet and Cas have two joeys that are within a week away from coming OOP. From what I can tell they are WF girls, which excites me a great deal! I believe one is a minimally marked mosaic, but it's very hard to tell. I hope everything goes well with these two. We all know what happened last time. I'm fully prepared to separate them if Cas shows any signs of aggression towards the joeys.

Speaking of joeys, do you all remember Fili? He's now been named to Tenacious, he's the little boy that Tracy is getting, but still hasn't got yet. Well, I honestly don't think I'm going to be able to let him go. He's SO cute and SO sweet! He still lives with his parents, older brother, and two younger sisters, so he's like a marshmallow.

What I would really like to talk about it the dot that he has on his face. I swear, it looks like a pied marker. I got some decent pictures of it, but they're not the best. If it is a pied marker, then there's a good chance he could produce pied joeys. There's also a good chance that he'll never have a pied joey, considering the spot on his face might not even be a marker, so who knows. I just thought it was pretty neat.

Well, I believe I'm going to call it a day. I just finished clipping ALL of the gliders' nails, and not to mention LaVaughn and I just changed everyone's pouches and she even swept the glider room floor. The day has been defeated.

Love & Peace

Is that not the cutest thing you've ever seen!?

Countdown to awesomeness...

I honestly cannot believe it's November already! It seems like only yesterday it was October. Ah ha, I slay me. Seriously, that joke probably gets old, doesn't it? I believe I've used it a time or two in the past when I saw fit. Anyways, like I was saying, it's November!! That means Christmas is NEXT month!!

The only reason I'm even semi excited bout this is because we're actually having a Christmas this year. For the past, let me think... 5 years we haven't done anything! No tree, no presents, no decorations, no nothing! My aunt always has a dinner, but that's it. So other than the fact that we watch Christmas Vacation while eating Christmas dinner left overs, you would have no idea it was the holiday season in our house.

So forgive me if I bore you with talks of Christmas cheer in the coming weeks, but it's long overdue.

Now lets jump right from Christmas to a recap of... Halloween!! Wanna know what we did this time!? Nothing, absolutely nothing. We raided the store for candy Wed. night, bought a couple candy bowels (one for us, one for our auntie), and that was it. We watched part of the Ghost Adventures special -- which sucked and is nothing like Ghost Hunters -- then watched a couple Nightmare on Elm Street movies. My conclusion.. it was a night of awesomeness!

It's so weird that I'm blogging at the start of the day today. I usually wait until the end of the day so I can recap (second time I've used that word) everything that took place.

Oh yeah, we got all our fleece from Joann.com today. It all looks awesome (see photos below)! I can't wait to get started on it. We have 3 sets that are sold already, so those must come first. Then after that, we're taking what we want out of it!! Woohoo, new cage sets for everyone!

Sigh... I guess I had better go take a shower. I have to go to town around 4 today, so that gives me 2 hours to shower, drink coffee, and watch a couple episodes of... Not My Mama's Meals. Woop woop!

Love & Peace

Well hello October...

Ah, my favorite month of the year has finally arrived! Not only does October have my favorite holiday, but it's host to my favorite time of year as well - fall! Nothing makes me happier than the sounds of leaves rustling and crows crowing. It takes me to a place that I know and love.

Anyway, I managed to nab a few random pictures from today (and a few from last night) and thought I would share them. Hope you enjoy...
