The Compulsive Ramblings Of A Philotherian

This working every other day thing is getting annoying. I worked Sunday, then I was off Monday, I worked Tuesday, then I work the rest of the weekend. I like having two days off in a row dammit!

I didn't do anything exciting today, so I don't know why "fun" is even in the title. I guess because after all these years I'm running out of eye catching things to say! LaVaughn and I did have to run to town today though. After we got done shopping we hit up Sonic for a half priced shake. Then guess where we ate... McDonald's!! We didn't really eat, we just got fries, but still!

For like the past two weeks all we've done is eat out! I've ate more fast food in the past month than I have in the past 3 years, NO joke!

While we were in town, we found a really awesome 3 pack of Glade plugins for only $5! We normally don't indulge in such things, but they smell so good!

LaVaughn ordered us a couple travel mice for our computers a few days ago and they both arrived today. It was a Site to Store dealio that Walmart has going on. For the mice to be as cheap as they were, they're actually really cute and look durable! For both of them together, it was only like $5! Super cheap! I took a picture of one of them, you can check that out below.

I had to work yesterday, but had today off, Then I have to work tomorrow and have Wednesday and Thursday off. Then I work the rest of the weekend. Fun, fun, fun! I'm SO not looking forward to Friday, I have to work until midnight!!

Anyways, on my days off I love to carry the gliders around, which we did today. It can be a task getting all 4 cages out and carrying them around. That's mainly because we carry Hadley in her own pouch and Simba and Nala in their own pouch. So all in all we have 6 pouches of gliders, 3 each.

But yeah, we hold them for a couple hours and stuff their faces with yoggies. They live such a pampered life. I can't imagine how horrible it must be to be carried around in a fleece pouch and feed sweeties all day, lol.

Okay, now a little update on Simba and Nala. The chick that was originally getting them was supposed to send us money Friday, which she didn't. Not sure if I've mentioned this or not, but she also only sent one deposit. I sent her a nice long email explaining that I think it would be best if she would just wait on future joeys when she actually has the money!

Her response... "Alright. I don't know what happened with me not getting paid Friday."

Someone else is interested in Simba and has been for a while, so we're going to tell her that he's now available again and see if she's still interested.

Now Nala is a different story... she's staying here! I know, I know, we don't need anymore gliders, but we have yet to keep a joey from Kira and Logan. Plus, she's like one of the cutest joeys ever!! And not to mention she's as sweet as pie. So yes, she's staying here. :)
