Time for cutting and scenery...

And no, I'm not talking about cutting myself. Tried that once - didn't much care for it. We had to cut a couple cage sets today that will get sewn up and shipped out Monday. Or Tuesday, depending on how things go.

Aside from that, I managed to nab a few scenic pictures from around the yard. It's been a while, so I thought, "Why not?". I find that I do my best "scenic" work during the spring and fall. I guess it's because the temperatures are more mild and not sweltering hot or anything.

Well, I suppose that's all for now...

Movie of the day: Storm Warning

Here are the pictures:

The two cage sets that were cut.

A birds nest. I believe Swallow's made this nest...

Yes, the tree has grown around this metal rod.

Beautiful Maple leaf... my absolute favorite of the leaves. :D

Leaf veins.

Look at how huge this leaf is! Looks like something you would see in the Amazon!

Tiny, black bug.

A beautiful Tiger Lily.

An close shot of the Tiger Lily.

Boring, boring, boring...

There really isn't anything going on today, nothing that's even slightly blog worthy. Hmm, makes you wonder why I'm even blogging to begin with. All I have to share is a set that we got sewn up yesterday - which you'll see a picture of below. Other than that... I have nothing. So, yeah.

Oh, I think I may start addressing myself as Dr. Megan, just so you know. ;)

Vet day and one cute cat...

Today was a tiresome, worry filled day. One of our sugar glider joeys, Sophie, go into a fight with her brother and ended up hurting her leg. I kept her in a bonding pouch on me today while I slept in a chair. I woke up just after noon and headed off to the vet.

When we got there, the vet checked her out and did and x-ray. Unfortunately, he had to put her under to get a clean image. And it was just as we suspected... a fracture. Luckily it wasn't a sever break or anything - but a break all the same. She's now on a calcium supplement and something for the pain. She gets to go back in 3 weeks to see how she's doing.

In other, happier news... I managed to get some really, really cute pictures of Bart yesterday in the laundry hamper. Apparently he likes to sleep with dirty clothes, lol. Be sure to check those pictures out at the bottom.

Happy Mother's Day!

This blog actually has nothing to do with Mother's Day - it has something to do with kittens! Yes, Susie had 5 beautiful kittens today. She had 4 girls and 1 boy. All the girls look like her and the little boy is yellow and white - like Una.

Well, that's all for now - just wanted to share the news.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

An early Mother's Day - With some gliders on the side...

LaVaughn and I decided to had Mother's Day a couple days early for Miss Sharon. We got her a couple things and made her an awesome coconut cake - her favorite! It's wasn't a big deal or anything, just the 3 of us hanging out and having a good time. We would have made her dinner, but she had already eaten on the way home.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Be sure to check out the many, many photos below...

Since today was such a nice, bright day - I decided to take some pictures of the joeys. I have to say, I think these turned out to be the best!
