The following...

Not sure why we treated ourselves today, but LaVaughn and I decided to go to Farmington and spend money that didn't necessarily need to be spent. It's done and over with, so what can you do?

We started our excursion by going to Walmart, mainly for me to look at Essie nail polish. After spending over 20 minutes sampling and examining each color, I finally decided on one. I also found a new love for CND Vinylux and the best top coat of all time, Seche Vite! Since I didn't feel like spending $10 on each, I decided to find them on eBay, which I did for $5.50 EACH! Score! Can't wait to get those in the mail.

We drive straight across the parking lot to Game Stop, where we hoped to find Dying Light The Following, which we did. There's no beating around the bush here -- we bought it. Since this enhanced edition contains the original game, we plan on selling the old one.

We ended our night with a Moo Latte and Captain D's, both were out of this world delicious. It's been so long since we've gone to Farmington, it was kind of a nice change from Poplar Bluff, but kind of not. So yeah, that was our day. I hope yours was just a fruitful!

Love & Peace

And The Division! :D

Welcome to my powder room...

LaVaughn and I decided to go to Farmington today -- of all places. There are few places that I despise going; Cape being number one, Farmington being number two. I don't know what it is, there's just something about the drive that I dread from the moment we begin our trek. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that you have to go through Ironton, which is where I work. I drive that way every single week, so going in that same direction for a pleasure cruise is tiresome.

Anyways, going to Farmington made sense. Their Walmart is the only place (that's close) that has Resident Evil Revelations 2. It's also the only place (other than Cape) that has a Petco, which is where we needed to go more than Walmart. I ordered Esther's shipping crate and for some reason, it's huge! WAY to big to ship her in, so we needed to return it.

Naturally, it wasn't as easy as, "Here, we don't want this. It's unopened, can we please just have our money back" It would have been that easy, had I brought my DEBIT card! Oh no, I left that sitting on the kitchen table, over an hour away. So it's not like I could have jotted home real quick and got it. They closed in an hour anyways, so I couldn't have done that even if I wanted to. So no, we didn't get our money back, but the guy let us exchange it for anything in the store.

We toyed around with the idea of getting new water bottles for all the gliders, but they only had two glass ones (for $10) and the rest were shitty plastic -- it's basically like throwing your money away if you buy Kaytee or Petco brand.

That's when we gazed our view to the direction of litter boxes. We both agreed last week that we needed to invest in a new one, so it made sense. Surprisingly, litter boxes have gotten relatively higher since we last bought one. Petco is naturally more expensive, so I honestly didn't think we would find a "cheap" one. We ended up deciding on a lime green one with adorable cat decals on the side. I love it! It was almost $40, but we had a $23 exchange, so we ended up paying $14 -- not too bad.

After we finished up at Petco, we went next door to Walmart and picked up our game. Which, surprisingly enough, was ready when we got there. This never happens at our local store. We stopped by Captain D's for dinner, then headed home.

All in all it was a pretty nice day. My anxiety has lessened some, not entirely, but it does seem better today. I'm hoping that it keeps improving...

Love & Peace

Here's the girl's new little box:

It's a super fancy Petco little box.

And of course, our glorious Resident Evil Revelations 2.

From Flat River to Park Hills...

Did you know that Flat River was renamed to Park Hills? Because I sure didn't. I didn't learn that until today when LaVaughn and I went to Park Hills with my aunt. Apparently she found a really stellar deal on a wood stove that she couldn't pass up. She doesn't like driving in strange places, so she likes to take LaVaughn and myself so she doesn't get lost. I'm not sure if anyone has told her or not, but we wouldn't be much help unless she got lost on our turf.

Anyways, since we got to Park Hills about an hour early, she decided to stop and just sit for a while. After about 3 minutes of being parked, LaVaughn and I were both bored out of our skulls, so we decided to go walk around Big Lots, a place neither of us have ever been in!

Of course, we both stopped by the movie kiosk where we found Gossip Girl for $8 a season... I still hate that we passed on those. It wasn't long before LaVaughn spotted the beauty isle where she found Maybelline Color Show nail polish for $1!! She also found that awesome magnetic nail polish for $1.80 each!! There was also some other type of pretty Maybelline nail polish and some other type of bamboo stuff, all of with we grabbed.

Right before that, we found some awesome deals on perfume, like $3.50 deals. By the time we were done, we left with 6 different nail polishes, 3 perfumes, a couple different kind of Swedish import cookies, and a few other things all for $30!! Can you believe it!?

Apparently we passed the time pretty well, because it was 10 after 6 when I looked at the clock. We were supposed to leave at 6 so that we could try and find the place. We quickly checked out and ran to the truck.

Long story short, we found the house, the wood stove was in awesome condition, she got it and we left. We stopped by an excessively packed Captain D's, grabbed some food, and then headed home. She's happy with her stove, and we're overly happy with our nail polish and perfume, all of which I'm going to use by morning.

Before I go I have to mention the POP! Television Sons of Anarchy things we got. Since we're like in LOVE with that show, we thought it would be appropriate to buy a Jax and Opie to call our own. And just as we suspected, they're awesome! That is all.

Love & Peace
