I don't know where to start. A fucking raccoon broke into our chicken coop last night and murdered all three of our Welsh Harlequin ducks and Audrey, the sweetest chicken in the world! Out of all the fucking chickens in that damn coop, those are the ones that the fucker decided to kill. I am so upset right now, crying, and can barley type. My heart is so broken.
The bastard tried to kill Harley, but luckily, it didn't. We found him in the other side of the coop, bloody and barley walking. His whole head and neck was covered in blood. At the time, I thought he lost his left eye, but after cleaning him up, it was still intact. We let him sit in the bath for a long time and washed him off. Then we put of Vetericyn on him. That stuff works wonders with gliders, so hopefully it will help him.
Luckily, my aunt was there with us when all this took place. I'm also thankful that she was there when we found the bastard raccoon STILL in the coop!! My aunt took care of that for us.
And to put the icing on the cake, we had our poor little crippled chick put down today. She was completely crippled in one leg and couldn't stand on the other one 95% of the time. My heart aches for her and doing that to her, but I know it was for the best. This is just a fucked up day that I want to be over!
I honestly don't know when I'll blog again. I'm so pissed and upset right now, I just want this day to be over.

Much a do about nothing...
It's seriously so nice to be home, doing nothing. Ah, I love my days off. Really makes working worth it when you don't have to go back for a couple days.
Speaking of work, my schedule next week is brutal!! I work like five 9 hour days or something. That's not cool, I only wanted part time man! I probably wont blog much next week, due to the fact that I'll be dead from exhaustion! Someone save me...
The drive to work yesterday was very dark and dreary. The drive back was like something from a post card! The drive there and back couldn't have been more opposite. It did make for some nice pictures though.
As soon as LaVaughn gets up, we're going to cut and sew the two cage sets that need to be done. One is for Taylor and one is for a guy in STL. It seems like it's been forever since we've sewn anything! It's about time we get back in the groove.
I'm sure a lot of people know about this show, but it's completely new to us. It's called, Saburgatory. And believe it or not, for a comedy, it's pretty funny! We're nearly done with the first season and we've only been watching it for a couple days. I guess that's due to the fact that the episodes are only 21 minutes long.
In chicken news... the poor little thing still can't walk well. LaVaughn made a little sling for her to sit in so that she could eat better. It actually seems to be working some. She's just SO pitiful!! I wish there was more we could do for her. :(
Well, we still haven't found Lucy a home. We only got the one creepy email and that's it. I wish we could find her a home because Bart, the cat that's 3 times bigger than her, is terrified of her! It doesn't help that she bullies him around, which I don't like. So yeah, the little monster needs a home. Just and FYI, she's not mean to people. She's a complete angel to us.

Soooooo boring...
I am really running out of things to blog about! Absolutely nothing exciting has been happening lately. I mean, I'm glad nothing tragic has happened, of course, but things have just been boring!
On a higher note... tomorrow is my last day and then I get 3 days off! Woohoo! I know I sound like they work me non-stop, but for someone that isn't used to working a job like this, it feels like that.
Speaking of work, I hurt my hand today! I was opening the oven to put some pies in and completely pulled something in my left hand in the process. It started burning a little at first, then by the time I made it back to the front the section on my hand between my thumb and index finger was the size of a ping pong ball! It was freaking because I watched it swell! Completely blew my mind. The swelling has gone down some now, but it's still a little puffy and sore as hell.
Stray cat update... she's still here! And yes, we're still feeding her, so she probably wont be leaving anytime soon. I put a nice little ad on Craigslist about her and have only received one really creepy email about her. As of right now, I have no clue what's going to happen with her.
Omg, the rats have been fighting again! It's mainly Sally and Melissa, but Emilie and Chelsea fight sometimes too. But like I said, it's mainly those two. We'll just be sitting there watching TV and all of a sudden we hear screaming and thumping. It's never ending with those guys. I think we're going to have to separate them full time.
Have I mentioned how cute Hadley is and that she might be staying here? Well she is and she might! Not really of course. Luckily, someone may be interested in her. I really hope so, cause we really don't have space for her.

Ugh, work was a beast yesterday! I had to stay until 7, but didn't get to leave until just before 8. For some reason they were swamped! At around 4:30, there were SO many people! And of course, they were short a couple people. Just before 7 when I was supposed to leave, like a million people came in! Well, maybe not that many, but there were about 10 cars at the window and about 15 people in the lobby. It was madness!!
On the bright side, I got my first break yesterday! If you work under 5 hours - which I normally do - you don't get a break, but when you work over, you get a 30 minute break. When I worked so late last Moday, I didn't get a break. So you can imagine my surprise when Jerry was like, "Okay Megan, you can take your break now." Luckily LaVaughn was online when I took my break, so I messaged her the entire 30 minutes.
And again, since I worked over 5 hours, I got a slightly larger crew meal. 10 piece nuggets and medium fries! Woop woop, lol.
Enough boring work stuff...
I actually took the time today to get pictures of all the joeys!! The lighting wasn't the best, so the pictures didn't turn out super good, but there's definitely a couple keepers in there. Kira and Logan's little ones did good. They moved around a lot, but didn't cry. Hadley is a completely different story! That poor little girl is such a cry baby! I did manage to get one really, really adorable picture of her not crying, though.
While I was taking pictures of the joeys, LaVaughn took our little chick out and let her play around in the yard. She didn't really do much playing, but at least she was able to get some fresh air for a while.
You remember me talking about getting a couple Fast Track wheels from Dallie? Well we were going to sew some things for her as part of a trade. This was way back in January when we worked it out. Well we talked a little more the next month and then that was it! She never brought it up again and I even messaged her a couple times. Well, we ended up selling the stuff that we were going to make for her. Apparently she doesn't want to do the trade anymore. *sigh*
