New obsession...

It never really takes long for a new obsession to find it's way to you. And it can come in any shape or form that it desires. For us, at the moment, it's in the form of lip balms. Or lip smackers, lip gloss, whatever you want to call it. Me, I like them all, lol. I've noticed in the past week that we've collected several different kinds of lip gloss, smackers and balms. It's really fascinating how wrapped up your mind gets on something and what little control you have on impulse buys. It makes you wonder...

So, what's your new obsession?

Song of the day: Whiskey In A Jar by Metallica

Look at all of those little tubes of awesomeness.

The kind of fun, kind of sucky day in Poplar Bluff...

It's that time of the month again. Time for us to pack up and head to PB. Well, we don't really pack, but whatever. We had to do a few things, so why not.

When we first got there, LaVaughn had to go do something, them we headed to Pets-R-Us. And as usually, it smelled unbelievably bad. They had their usual dogs for sale, like chihuahuas (which I hate) and then their other poor caged animals. We mostly just wanted mealworms, which we got a 500 of, and a new hospital cage for the glider. You just never know when you'll need it.

After that, we headed to PetsWay. Our last couple trips there have really sucked, but it wasn't too bad this time. We didn't really do anything, except look at the animals, which they have too many off (especially birds). We ended up leaving there with a hole in our heart for a ferret and two dog cookies, which Milla didn't even touch.

Then we headed to Hasting's. This is usually my favorite part of the day, but it was a big suck fest and I don't want to talk about it.

Well, I guess that's all for now....

Love & Peace

Here are the pics:

At the gas station, obviously. No pay at the pump, though. :(

 Same chihuahua from last month.

 The newer puppies.

 Some t-tiny hamsters.

 Ugh...

 Haha, I love this guy!

 This one's not so bad.

This picture is so gnarly. Poor little guy.

Hmm...

Our huge tub of 500 mealworms.

Our new hospital cage.

Some of the yummy mealworms.

Look at those bad boys.

Seriously, how random is that?

Such a pretty guinea pig.

This picture turned out horrible, but the bird is cute.

Ok, like a month or two after we got Sadie and Kira, PetsWay got these sugar glider pellets. It was fine at first, but no one bought them! And... here they sit.

This package looks even worse!

So cute!

Aww, I love ferrets. We're considering getting another one...

This would've been such a cute shirt for Milla. But... we didn't want to pay $25 for something that she would hardly wear.

They've had this poor little thing for months now! I feel So sorry for him...  :(

It stayed in this position the entire time, lol.

This was pertaining to the bird above.

A pizza cookie that we got for Milla. The little twat didn't even touch it.

And here's the other one we got her. Some trick ass turkey, lol.

Seriously, look at it's eye, lol.

We were at McDonald's here, waiting on Milla's McDoubles. I love the way it turned out.

And lastly, Milla's cute little face.

Why are we SO excited??

Cause we got After Dark Horrorfest 4 last night!! That's right, we got it.

We were bored around 5ish yesterday evening and decided to hit up Poplar Bluff to see what kind of trouble we could get ourselves into. When we got there we hit up PetsWay. They still had those t-tiny little rabbits for sale, but we didn't feel like dropping $20 on one, so we left.

Then we get to Hasting's and end up going to the store next door, Orschelns, to see if they had any cages that were cheaper. So we get in there, walk back to the pet section and see this... baby rabbits for $12! We couldn't believe it. We stood there for about 15 minutes holding them and trying to decided which one we wanted. But believe it or not, we DID NOT get one. We were so proud of ourselves.

Then... we get to Hasting's. We went over to the gaming section a looked around for a while and ended up carrying Army of Two around, just in case we wanted it. We eventually wandered back to the horror section, like always, where we found them... all but one of After Dark Horrorfest 4 for the low, low price of $7.99 each! We were snatching them up like hot cakes, man. The only one they didn't have for that price was, Dread. So we had to buy it for $16.99, which sucked. Anyway, we got them and we're SO happy about it.

That's pretty much all I have to say for now. I may or may not do a review on all of them after we watch them, so don't hold your breath. Until then, we have some movies to watch. Peace...

Song of the day: Unforgiven 2 by Metallica

Ugh, today was horrible...

I'm so glad this day is over, it was so creepy.

We told out aunt that we would go with her to court in Poplar Bluff today. So, we got ready and left her house at like 10:30. For one, we're not morning people, we don't usually leave the house while the sun is out unless it's before 7 or so. Anyway, that was one thing. The other was the fact that her hearing wasn't until like 2, so we were going to be up there for a long time. While we were up there, we did our usual run, PetsWay, Pets R Us and Hasting's. But that still left us with over an hour to burn. So we went to the courthouse and just sat there. After about 20 minutes, our aunt decided to go ahead and go in, so we followed. We got to the second floor, found where we had to be and waited... and waited... and waited. When no one else started to show up (her lawyer, the opposite party and their lawyer), we got suspicious. LaVaughn tried to get her to call her lawyer, but she wouldn't. So at like 2:15, she finally called. The hearing ended up being discontinued. So yes, it was a complete waste of a trip.

After we left there, our aunt was pissed and wanted to get something to eat. She wanted Godfather's Pizza, so that's where we went. When we were like halfway there, her husband call and said he was just outside of Poplar Bluff and wanted to come eat with us. So we ended up driving all the way out of PB to get him and then all the way back in to the pizza place. We got there, ate a couple pieces of pizza, sat there and stared at each other and then left.

This has been one of the creepiest days ever. I don't think I was ever that happy to be home, lol. I'm just glad that I had a nap and it's all over.

Today wasn't a complete waste though. I got some nice before and during pictures to cheer you all up. But, I guess that's all for now. Until the next creepy day, peace...

Song of the day: The Day That Never Comes by Metallica

This is one of our aunts Tulips. Very pretty.

As were these.

I think these were her favorite, though.
.
I shot this and the next two pics with the burst function on our camera. They all turned out pretty awesome considering Sadie was moving the entire time.
.
This one is so cute.

So is this one.
.
This was taken in the car while we were waiting. Very gross looking spider.
.
I actually got this picture by accident. Then I noticed that this was some trick ass ambulance from the slums and decided to keep the picture. I couldn't not blow up the writing on the side, it was too funny, lol.
.
Then this "Pimp My Ride" reject pulled in to the shop across the street. And naturally, it was the strip clubs ride, lol. Too funny...

It's been so long...

It seems like we never go to Poplar Bluff anymore just for the heck of it. A lot of that could be due to the way we're sleeping. So yesterday, I ended up having to get up at like 3:00 pm and do something. I was done around 5 and thought I would wake LaVaughn up and see if she wanted to go see The Crazies. So naturally, she did. While she was getting ready, I looked up the showings. One was for 6:40 and the other was for 9:20. Of course, we wanted to see the late show, so we had plenty of time to hit PetsWay and Hasting's.

Well, we get to PetsWay at about 6:20 and end up staying until about 7:10 or so. During this time, we end up with a toy for Milla and... a dwarf rabbit. Well, not really, but almost. They had about 5 of them in the back where they used to keep the puppies. At the time, we're really digging the thought of have a rabbit again. So we go look at cages, food, ect. Then we actually get to talk to a so called worker (who doesn't know shit about animals) about the rabbit. And when he mutters the words, they get just as big as normal rabbits, we begin to back off. We decided to go ahead and leave cause the place was getting ready to close and creepier by the minute.

Then we get to Hasting's, our home away from home. The first thing we do is look at the sales that are going on. And to our surprise, it was still the same. How long can they actually run "Buy 2 get the 3rd for a $1."? Not saying that's not a good deal, but come on people, what happen to the 3rd movie being a penny? Anyway, we look around and within 10 minutes, we have bout 9 movies clutched in out greedy hands. Then we started going through them and end up with 3. Not too bad, eh? So, we look at the clock and see that it's 10 till 8. So, we decided to leave. We walked out with:

1) A Perfect Getaway

2) Saw 6

3) The Hangover

Then we decide to head to the theater and wait it out. I know, over and hour to wait. So, we get there and notice that there wasn't too many people. So we decided to check out the showing to see if there's any sooner. As we drive by, we notice that the last showing was at... wait for it... 7:30!! We were SO pissed. For one, their website has a big ass miss print, but we missed the last showing by like 20 minutes!

So, we were like screw this and decided to go ahead and grab some Taco Bell (which wasn't the best) and head on home.

All in all, it was a nice trip, we just didn't get to see the movie we wanted. Oh well, better luck next time. But until then, keep rockin!

Love & Peace

Song of the day: One by Metallica

Why must I be so nice?

Not 2 hours ago, I got to save a tiny little life. I was just standing outside, minding my own business when Sid, our tree cat, came walking towards me with something hanging out of his mouth. So naturally, I went to see what it was. And to my surprise, a baby mole. At the time, I thought it was dead, so I just looked the other way. Then, I saw movement. So I ran over to it to see how hurt it was, and to my surprise, not too bad. Then I grabbed the closest thing to me and quickly scooped the poor little guy up before Sid got another claw in. So then I took him in the bathroom and put him in a little cage away from the cats. After LaVaughn got up, I told her what had happened. She went in the bathroom for a quick look, only to find out that our baby mole wasn't a mole at all, it was a baby rat. Yes, I said rat. He is so extremely cute, I'm going to hate to free him, but, I don't like to keep things caged that were once free. So, in a couple days, we'll take him about 10 miles away from out house and let him go.

That's all for now. Love and peace bitches...

Song of the day: Sad But True by Metallica

Guess who's moving on up?

Sadie and Pip! We finally got their new cage in the mail. The dude delivered it today while we were asleep. He just propped it up against the side of the house and left it there. No note, no nothing. We saw it when we let Milla out to go to the bathroom. We were so lucky that our neighbors dogs didn't eat it. Man that would've sucked. Anyway, we got it and it's awesome. And as you can see from the pic to your left, It's freakin huge! And Sadie and Pip love it so much. And guess how much? Only $60. That's so freakin cheap compared to the$180 we paid for our first big cage. We need to remember to always go to eBay first.

Well, that's all for now. Love & Peace...

-Megan

We're not snowed in anymore!

And guess what else? We got The Stepfather! As soon as we figured out that we could get our car out, we were gone. And, we already watched it. I'm not going to do a review right now, but it's safe to say that it was good.

But that's all for now. Until next time, Love & Peace...
