I can't even...

I normally wouldn't be posting this late, especially on a day that I work (I literally just got home). I'm still kind of in shock and can't even comprehend what I'm getting ready to say, but my beautiful, sweet Emilie passed away today. I can't believe it, she did so well yesterday.

I cried on the way home, I'm crying now. It sucks. This year is just, ugh! We've lost all of our rattie girls this year, it's not fair.

And to top it off, my aunt actually got rid of Otis today. I tried and tried to find the boys a home together, but she could only take one. That sucks too. I know they were a pain, but I can't stand the fact that they're separated, it's heartbreaking.

I'm in desperate need of a shower now -- not to mention my head is killing me! I need to get off of here for the rest of the night...

RIP my sweet Emilie...

Roll with the changes...

LaVaughn had to be a punk today and get her hair cut. Since we were gone most of the day yesterday, I would have preferred to stay home, but whatevs. It honestly doesn't take long for her to get her hair cut -- it's super short.

Since our stylist is in the direction of the feed store, we decided to stop and get the ducklings some more starter. We thought they were eating the adult food well enough, but they weren't. I'm sure they'll be able to transition 100% after this bag is empty.

It's been an exciting day in mail delivery! Not only did we get all of our glorious Bath & Body Works stuff in the mail, but we got our c-links as well! The c-links were apparently delivered 2 days ago, but for some odd reason the mailman put them on a swing that's nowhere near our house. And it's behind a tree!! What's up with that? I was kind of freaking out a couple days ago when the tracking said delivered. After all, it'll 1100 c-links that I won on eBay for $11... shipped!

It sure beats the $17 I spent on a co-op for only 500 links. Majorly depressing. Apparently they're super sturdy, not like the cheap ones everyone is used to. Surprisingly enough, the ones I found online are equally as strong, so that's a plus.

Such pressing matters, let me tell you!

Miss Emilie is doing fairly well. She's eaten quite a bit today and seems so alert. I can't help but worry that it's a warning sign, hopefully she just has an appetite.

So, my aunt has been pretty persistent about getting rid of the puppies. It's something I'm on the fence about. After all, LaVaughn and I have taken care of them for the past couple months, so we're really close. Yes they're a menace, yes they chase our cats and kill our chickens/ducks, but it's still hard! I know things will be okay once they're gone and I can't think about it anymore, but the leading up to it is what's so hard.

A lady contacted me today about them -- of course, she only wants one. I do not want to split them up, at all! It breaks my heart to even think of splitting them up. She says she lives in an apartment, which is why she can only take one. She's apparently trying to talk her mother-in-law to adopt Max, but I'm not sure. They're coming tomorrow, so I'll know more then.

I'm so ready for my excruciatingly long day to be over tomorrow. I want Sunday to be here, like now! I can't wait to see everyone and have dinner, I'm so excited! It's been close to 9 months since we've all gone out -- I hate waiting so long.

I guess that's all for now, until next time...

Now for some random frog photography. This little guy was perched on the car for the longest time:

Such a photogenic little frog.

I love this one. I think this is either some random baby frog, or a tree frog.

Not bragging, but this looks like something on a calendar. I LOVE my camera! Words cannot describe!!

Our c-link package:

I can't believe it was sitting on the swing for so long.

Check out all these awesome links!

Bath & Body Works package:

My aunt's belated birthday gift.

It even came with a gift bag!

My cotton candy lip gloss.

All our glorious Bath & Body Works fragrances!

Aren't they beautiful!?!?

Una loves the BBW box.

Cutest cat peeking out of a box ever!

I love you like a love song...

No work for me today. I know, I'm beginning to forget what it's like to work on a Sunday. In my defense, I thought today was Mother's Day -- which is why I originally took off. It's not, though, but at least I got to spend my afternoon watching a fat groundhog run around my yard. I know, exciting.

My mom has been here since Thursday, which was a blessing because my car quite on my Friday evening. The alternator went out halfway back from Piedmont. I barely made it to the shop in Annapolis, it actually died on me not 3 minutes after I put it in park. Yeah, that's how dead it was! Thankfully my mom was here and I didn't have to call out. It was SUPER weird driving her car, though. It's so tiny and compact, I thought I was going to take flight a couple times.

My car should be ready tomorrow, so yay!

I'm probably going to be trading it at the end of the week. It's just been one thing after another. Plus it has like 195,000 miles on it, so it's time for a trade. I just hope I can get a 2010 or later that's in my price range.

In other news, Una hasn't been feeling well at all for the past couple days. It all started Friday, of course, so there was no going to the vet. No worries, though, we're going to take her tomorrow after we pick up the car. We'll probably take Zoe too, cause I'm sure whatever Una has she has.

While we're in Fredericktown we're going to grab some vegan meat. We tried the Morning Star Chik'n nuggets a few weeks ago and loved them! We also recently tried Boca burgers -- which we've had 4 out of 5 days -- and they're awesome! I'm in no way vegan, but I am very cautious of processed meats, which is why eating vegan meat is so much easier, you never have to worry about biting into anything disgusting!

Another completely random subject, we're hatching out duck eggs, hopefully soon. I don't even know if I mentioned that we got a incubator or not? Well we did and it's full of duck eggs -- with a few turkey eggs on the side. I pray that the turkey eggs hatch, that way we would have some memory of Lilith.

Speaking of Lilith, my aunt is getting rid of the minions that killed her and two of my ducks. I can't say I'm excited because I'm going to miss them like crazy, but after they're gone we wont have to worry about them killing anything, chasing our cats, chasing cars, or anything. I just hate the time that leads up to it. Cause right now I'm the one that takes care of them.

With all of that being said I'm going to call it a day. Until next time...

New Spotify app on my iPhone. LOVE THIS!

Found it here first. Best music app ever!!

Here are some pictures of me stalking the groundhog:

These are pictures LaVaughn took... doing the same thing:

Jasper!

Mason!

These boys are the sweetest ever.

Sugar glider joey picture update!

I don't really have much to say, this is mainly going to be a picture post. Many apologies for those that look forward to my boring writing. Anyways, today didn't leave too much time for anything, but I did manage to squeeze in enough time for joey pictures. I hate going longer than a week without taking pictures, it makes me feel horrible. I think I'm doing pretty good, though -- I believe I'm close to 200 updated pictures of these two!

I also managed to snap a few other random shots of other things while we were shutting the chickens up. Nothing special, but it's something to look at. Until next time...

Love & Peace
