Weekly iPhone Roundup - New Year Edition {12.31 - 1.6}

So I'm completely aware that my blogging has almost completely halted lately. I mean, the holidays played a big part in that, but I've also been playing The Sims ALL week long. When I'm not playing that, I'm playing Astro's Playroom, which I've been obsessed with since like Christmas. You wouldn't think something so simple could be so fun, but it really is a blast. I think the main reason is because you don't have to think too hard about what you're doing, lol. It's just like a simple arcade game that you don't have to get set up for, like The Last Of Us. So yeah, I've been hella preoccupied lately.

I'm not going to get into New Years Eve or day, some really uncomfortable things happened and I don't want to talk about it.

Since I've been going at The Sims so hard, I haven't really done anything else. Quite literally if I'm being honest - I become very lazy when I'm in a Sims kick.

With that being said, here are the very few pictures that I've taken on my phone this week:

My moms youngest chihuahua, Hyde. He's obsessed with us.

It was a Pizza Hut kinda night for my little brother.

First picture of the New Year. This is actually a bag I got from Thiland, it's a boho style and I'm literally obsessed with it.

The fog was unreal Sunday.

I don't think a foggy start to the New Year is a good thing, but I could be wrong.

The egg prices in Rozier's in Perryville were insane! $6.75 is just too much.

These eggs were even more expensive.

These are the most expensive at almost $7 a dozen.

This is the "cheaper" option of eggs.

More nasty fog.

The fog was unreal Monday. It was much worse than this pictures depicts.

You could only see like 15 feet in front of the car.

Boiling lemons to drink the water because everyone in Perryville is sick.

When you're feeling done in...

Today has been a SUPER exhausting. Right now I'm curled up in the glider room, taking a moment for myself. We were original going to go to the vet today -- there were no openings -- but we ended up doing a million other things in place of. Today would have been the perfect day for a drive to Fredericktown, but now it's being postponed to Wednesday.

When I got up, my mom took me to pick up the car. - thankfully they got it fixed today! After that I vacuumed, did the laundry, took out the trash, fed all the animals, then cooked dinner. Bob showed up not 10 minutes before we started cooking for ourselves, which was nice and awkward. Not that he makes it uncomfortable or anything, it's just odd.

When we finished eating we asked Bob if he would help us put the air conditioner in the glider room. Of course he said yes, which I figured he would. After that was all said and done we decided to move the geese down to the chicken coop. They're so unbelievable big now, far too big to be kept inside. Two weeks from now they'll probably be living among everyone else -- they grow that fast.

See what I'm saying, it's been a non-stop type of day. It doesn't help that have been obsessing over our duck eggs that are SO close to hatching! I kid you not. There's pipping coming from one egg and lots of action going on when we candle them. Super exciting stuff going on in out house.

My time is drawing short, so I guess I'll end it here. Until next time...

Love & Peace

New HDMI cords arrived today! They're awesome!

Anxiously waiting for these guys to hatch!!

See the crack? If not, I won't hold it against you... it's hard to see.

And now for the pictures of the geese, Reese and Riley:

I love you like a love song...

No work for me today. I know, I'm beginning to forget what it's like to work on a Sunday. In my defense, I thought today was Mother's Day -- which is why I originally took off. It's not, though, but at least I got to spend my afternoon watching a fat groundhog run around my yard. I know, exciting.

My mom has been here since Thursday, which was a blessing because my car quite on my Friday evening. The alternator went out halfway back from Piedmont. I barely made it to the shop in Annapolis, it actually died on me not 3 minutes after I put it in park. Yeah, that's how dead it was! Thankfully my mom was here and I didn't have to call out. It was SUPER weird driving her car, though. It's so tiny and compact, I thought I was going to take flight a couple times.

My car should be ready tomorrow, so yay!

I'm probably going to be trading it at the end of the week. It's just been one thing after another. Plus it has like 195,000 miles on it, so it's time for a trade. I just hope I can get a 2010 or later that's in my price range.

In other news, Una hasn't been feeling well at all for the past couple days. It all started Friday, of course, so there was no going to the vet. No worries, though, we're going to take her tomorrow after we pick up the car. We'll probably take Zoe too, cause I'm sure whatever Una has she has.

While we're in Fredericktown we're going to grab some vegan meat. We tried the Morning Star Chik'n nuggets a few weeks ago and loved them! We also recently tried Boca burgers -- which we've had 4 out of 5 days -- and they're awesome! I'm in no way vegan, but I am very cautious of processed meats, which is why eating vegan meat is so much easier, you never have to worry about biting into anything disgusting!

Another completely random subject, we're hatching out duck eggs, hopefully soon. I don't even know if I mentioned that we got a incubator or not? Well we did and it's full of duck eggs -- with a few turkey eggs on the side. I pray that the turkey eggs hatch, that way we would have some memory of Lilith.

Speaking of Lilith, my aunt is getting rid of the minions that killed her and two of my ducks. I can't say I'm excited because I'm going to miss them like crazy, but after they're gone we wont have to worry about them killing anything, chasing our cats, chasing cars, or anything. I just hate the time that leads up to it. Cause right now I'm the one that takes care of them.

With all of that being said I'm going to call it a day. Until next time...

These boys are the sweetest ever.

Someday, you'll understand...

I ended up not going to work today -- for undisclosed reasons. After everything had settled, LaVaughn and I decided to go to town for some last minute Easter dinner items for tomorrow. We finished off our journey to town with a MISERABLE limeade from Sonic. We get these a couple times a week, but today was the first that that we got a blue coconut and it was awful! Like I almost took it back because it tasted to awful. Since we were in a rush, we just took them and left.

Speaking of Easter dinner. my uncle made it home today, so dinner is happening tomorrow. My mom and her husband will be coming down as well. I like Bob, don't get me wrong, but things are just so awkward with him around sometimes. I believe I've talked about this before. Tomorrow should be interesting.

I've spend the rest of my day either spilling water -- I've done it twice already -- and playing the Sims. And by playing the Sims I mean building houses. That takes up 90% of my gameplay anymore. It's a good thing that's one of my favorite things to do.

Since there's not much else to say, I'm going to get back to it. We're going to have a full house tomorrow, so I'm going to enjoy the peace and quite of tonight...

Love & Peace
