Another centipede and MORE cage sets!

It seems that all we do anymore is sew. It's literally the first thing we do when we wake up. Aside from going to the loo, of course. The sad/exciting thing - we have even more to sew after today! Someone pull out the band-aids, we're going to have some bleeding fingers by weeks end!

Aside from sewing, we found another centipede in the bathroom! Seriously man, how in the hell are they getting in? There's no way they can be getting in the bathroom, so they must be coming in the house and making their way there. It's creppy and - of course - I got more photos.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Until next time...

Here are the pics:

I counted and I believe this centipede has 204 legs - give or take a few, of course.

 They're creepy, but pretty insects.

 Little Bartemius.

The 3 piece pink and brown set for, Erika.

The 7 piece 80s style cage set for, Erika.

And the 10 piece monkey set.

 Sleepy Bart.

Such a petty boy.

 He loves being held.

Someone was wanted a couple new pictures of Drake yesterday, so I managed to get him out a little bit ago and take some for them. They're pretty cute...  :O)

A sad farewell...

Today has been one hell of an emotional day. Not only did CJ go to his new home today, but so did our ferret, Robbie. CJ's departure was sad enough, but we knew from the time he was two weeks old that he wasn't staying. It was Robbie's departure that really hit home.

LaVaughn and I talked about this literally for weeks! We kept making pros and cons lists, but we would always end up with the same conclusion, "He's fine here, just as he has been for a year." Then a day or two would go by and the same subject would come up. We discussed the fact that he doesn't get enough out of cage playtime and the fact that he is lonely - both of which are true. We knew that we couldn't have another ferret - we tried that before and it was too much. We got him out as much as possible, but knew that it wasn't enough. Then, like I said, after weeks of discussion, we decided to find a new home for him.

I know a lot of people will frown upon this decision, but it was the best decision for everyone involved. He's at a place now where he will get practically 24/7 free roam of the house and be the only pet! I was assured that he would be spoiled beyond recognition. I've been talking to the lady that got him for days. We've emailed, called each other and she's great! I think it's the best place for him to be.

In other, happier news... while we were in Fredericktown today grocery shopping, we decided to pick up some more Tide Pods. We picked up a 14 pack online the other day and they're awesome! I figured our laundry would be the perfect test. We have really thick towels - plus a house full of animals. And believe it or not, they actually work! They smell great and really get the clothes clean. I'm definitely a Tide fan.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Until next time...

Song of the day: Let It Be by The Beatles

It's almost time!

Kira and Logan's joeys are getting SO close to coming OOP. They're at the "you can look and touch, but can't hold" stage and it's torture! We know for a fact what their sex is, though. We have one standard/BB girl and one ringtail mosaic boy! We're extremely excited and already have a home lined up for the little girl. She will be living with our good friend, Erika!  :O)

They go there when they're ran out of their pouch. :P

The little ringtail boys tail!

Look at those rings!

He's going to be one gorgeous ringtail sugar glider!

We had to give Robert a bath a couple days ago and I managed to get a couple cute pictures of him. Hope you enjoy!

 Ferret bath time!

He has a love/hate relation ship with bathing. :)

Who's a Birthday girl...

That would be Lavaughn! I don't believe she had much planned for today, just a dinner and Auntie Sharon's, which was great. Unfortunately, the gift that I ordered for her did NOT come in the mail today. I was seriously pissed and still am. I should of know that ordering something from overseas on the 7th wouldn't arrive by the 12th... oy vey. Anyway, it was still a good day. And like I was told, it'll be a bonus when she gets something a couple days late.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. Sorry this blog is so splotchy, but I just don't have the energy to write anymore. Or anything intelligent at least, lol. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Song of the day: Birthday by The Beatles

Here are the pics:

Yesterday...

Yeah, I've had The Beatles in my head ever since I woke up. Mostly that song, so that's why I'm using it as the title. And more than likely, a Beatles song with be the song of the day. I'm slowly slipping back in to my usual flow of blogging, which I love! I just need to actually blog about something instead of just posting pictures. So that's what I plan on doing today.

Do you remember when I said I would explain why there was only one duck? Well that's what I'm going to explain right now. I'm sure most of you know that LaVaughn and I live just down the way from Sharon (aka; Aunt Sharon or Miss Sharon as I like to call her). She's the one who bought all the chickens and ducks a couple months back. Well, we heard her outside our house one day screaming something. Of course, we jumped up and ran outside. And to our surprise, her dogs, Fletcher and Carly, had killed some of the chickens and ducks. They killed 5 of the biggest chickens and 3 ducks. One little girl was lucky enough to make it to the chicken coop before they could get her. I haven't associated myself with those dogs since.

Oh yeah, we watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes Saturday night and it was awesome! I always thought it looked good and it was! And Tom Felton being in it was a big plus, lol. I highly, highly recommend watching it if you can. And while we're on the subject of Tom Felton, we also watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I believe it was on Saturday as well. Of course, it was awesome! Also extremely sad.

Hmm, I know I had something else to talk about today, but like always, I'm blanking. LaVaughn and I have lots to sew today. I think we have 1 whole 9 piece cage set to sell and two 9 piece cage sets to finish. It should be a fun day, lol

Well, I believe that's all for now. I need to get dressed and start sewing. Until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace

Song of the day: I Saw Her Standing There by The Beatles

Here are the pics:

I love this worm.

I thought this pictures was awesome! I love how the light is coming through the web.

I'm amazed with the macro on this camera.

Susie is such a cutie.

As is Esther.

Milla's a punk and you can never get good outdoor pictures of her.

Look at how big Leo (Leonidas) is getting! I love this picture, BTW. LaVaughn actually took this. :)

This is Helen, Leo's faithful sidekick.

His face makes me sick here. I just want to smash the life out of him.

Too precious.

Baby lovebird update:

Aren't they gorgeous?
