A phone, a movie, and a hedgehog?...

The cause of this trip was the excitement of getting a new phone. Cause yesterday we were talking and realized that our two year contract was up on our cell phones. So if you have a cell phone provider like us, then you know what that means. New phones! We have Verizon and it just so happens that there is a Verizon in PB. So that's why we went today.

Well we got up there at about 10:00 or so. We went in and was looking around trying to decided what phone we wanted to get. Then the lady was like, "Can I help you with something?" and we told her that we were wanting to upgrade our phones. So after we talked to her for a minute she said that neither of our names were on the account. And that we would have to have Gene (LaVaughn's step dad and the account holder) to come and sign for us. So that really bummed us out. But we wanted to go to PetsWay and Hastings anyway. So off we went.

When we got to PetsWay we noticed a couple new animals in the cages. And guess what they were? Hedgehogs! LaVaughn started freaking out and asked me if I wanted one. And I was like, "Dude, do you know me at all?" so we went and asked someone how much they were. And the asking price was a fairly decent $120. So we went over to the small animal isle and seen how much hedgehog food was and how much a new cage would be. And while we were there I did a little bit of reading on hedgehogs. Then after we seen about how much all that stuff would be we went and asked Houston (the devil that works there) if we could hold them. So she came over and got the out for us. But they stayed in little balls for like five minutes. And I do mean little. These little guys were just off the nipple. Then right as they were waking up, two old as ladies jumped in front of us and started petting them. Then after they left we finally got to hold them. And oh my god, they are so freakin cute!! Only one came out of it's ball. That's the one we held. Then we told Houston that we would think about it. So after she put them up and left we kept asking each other if we were really sure that we wanted one. And neither of us were. So we were like, "Let's go on over to Hastings and think about it there." so off we went.

When we got there we noticed that their "Buy two get the third for a dollar" sale was still on. So that made us really happy. We walked around for a long ass time and found some great movies that we didn't have. And they are as followed: The Last House on the Left: Unrated Collector's Edition, Fire in the Sky, Otis, River's Edge, and The Perfect Storm. All super great movies. The last time we were up here we got: Funny Games, Gus Van Sant's: Last Days, Shadow Boxer, and Mystic River (cause someone stole ours). We also got Black Snake Moan and The Day The Earth Stood Still (old and new). But we got those at Walmart instead of Hastings. Anyway, that's pretty much all we did at Hastings.

After we got done there we left and realized that we would be better off without the hedgehog. Even though it was killing us inside. But, there is a good chance we might go back and get it next week. Who knows.

Oh yea, this guy Mike that works at our Grandma's dialysis center told LaVaughn's mom that his sugar gliders just had babies. And he's going to see how much his wife wants for one of the males. So we can pretty much say that we're going to get a baby sugar glider before long... maybe.

Well my fellow rockers, I guess that's all for now. Until next time, keep on rockin baby.
