What a way to start the day...

Around 12:50 this morning, we were woken to extremely loud banging on the door. At the time, we just thought it was Jehovah's Witnesses and ignored it. Then... the phone started ringing. We were like, "What the hell, man!" Then a voice from out side said, "You need to call your mom!" So LaVaughn grabbed the phone and I headed to the door. The pounding on our door was our neighbor, she was saying that auntie Sharon was broke down in Farmington and needed a little assistance. I said ok and went back in the house. LaVaughn was on the phone with uncle Gene getting the instructions for what we needed to do.

Well, we got everything we needed and headed out the door. We had to stop by the auto shop before we went to Farmington to pick up some antifreeze and a water pump (which is what was tore up on their truck). We made fairly good time, so that was cool. When we got to McDonald's (where they were broke down at) we saw exactly where they were parked and headed over.

He (Gene) got everything out and started trying to remove parts of their truck so that he could get the water pump out. He worked and worked for like 3 hours and couldn't get the last little bolt out. After that, they were screwed. There was nothing more that he could do with what he had, so we all just had to come back home. Miss Sharon had her car parked in Ironton, so that's where we dropped them off. After that, we headed to the grocery store to pick up a few things.

And... here we are. I feel SO bad for them, I hate that they couldn't get their truck fixed. Now that poor bastard has to go ALL the way back to Farmington tomorrow and work on it some more. Oh the joyous luck that runs in the family, lol.

Anyway, I guess that's all for now. Just wanted to share the fun. Oh wait, I forgot to mention, when we went in McDonald's to get a soda, we saw a RedBox and just had to stop by. And guess what awesome movie they had for sale... Survival of the Dead! Yes, they had that awesome movie for sale for the low, low price of $5. It was a steal. Ok, until next time, you know where to find me...

Love & Peace
