Sugar Glider Royalty...

It seriously amazes me how well we treat our gliders. They get the best of everything, especially diet! I ordered a sample of HPW Complete last week and got it Saturday. We still haven't made it yet, we still have some left over HPW that we need to use. Aside from that, we always make sure they have some of the best fruit out there. Like papaya for example. Anyone who has bought papaya in the past knows it's not cheap. Around here, it's at least $5. But does that stop us? Of course it doesn't. And not only do we buy the best food for them, we cut it for them too, lol. If you think about it, it's like they're royalty. All we don't do is hand feed them. And I'll admit, I've even done that a time or two! It's a tough life for a sugar glider, lol.

Well, I suppose that's all for know. I just hope I can keep my spirits up and continue to post without being all sucky. Until then, you know where to find me...

Nothing says fun like depression...

Remember me saying that I had writers block in my last post? Well, I still do. I believe this state of depression that I've slipped into is playing a major part in that. I seem to have lost interest in so many things that I once found amusing. Like writing, photography, music and just fun in general. It's seriously awful and I will be so glad to be back to my normal self. I have a lot of stuff going on in my life right now and I know that has something to do with being depressed. Not just something to do with me being depressed, it has everything to do with me being depressed. And my anxiety on top of that is just a double dose of awesomeness! Alright, I'm tired of wallowing in self pity. I plan on working on my problems and hope to be my old self by months end.

Writer's block...

I guess I should say blogger's block, but who cares. I've found it extremely hard to blog the past couple weeks. It seriously takes everything I have just to pop out a few decent words that actually make since. I think what I need is a nice, long break from blogging. So don't be shocked if this is my last blog for a while. I'm not saying that it will be weeks, but definitely days. I might even just pop in and share pictures, but who knows.

Oh to be a mouse...

I never really mentioned this the other day, but a day after the cats caught Seamus, they caught another mouse as well. And naturally, we saved it. After we put her in a cage, we noticed that her belly looked to be quite round. So round that you could see her nipples really well. It didn't take a genius to figure out the rest. From then on, it was a waiting game.

Yesterday when I checked on her, I noticed that she made a nest out of a toilet paper roll that we had given her. I didn't really think too much about it at the time, until LaVaughn woke up and saw it. Yup... you guessed it, she was making a nest for her babies. I looked and looked, but couldn't see anything. Then LaVaughn looked and saw one of the babies right away. We think there are only two, but we're not sure.

Midweek musings...

Not too much going on around the old homestead, lol. Just the same old stuff. Since I haven't posted since the 1st and it's already the 4th, that's means I have a butt-ton of pictures to share. And a few videos, so lucky you.

There's been some rockus love-making going on in the glider room. Sadie & Pip we're getting it on Sunday and Logan & Kira we're getting it on yesterday. I know this for a fact, considering I looked in their pouches each time they were doing it. No pun intended.
