Weekly iPhone Roundup {2.11 - 2.17}

It's that time again. At least I managed a regular post this week, which didn't happen last week. However, I do have far fewer pictures to share from my phone this week. I don't know why, I just didn't take that many.

It's been kind of a boring week, but we did get all the lumber delivered for our new chicken coop! I'm so, so, so excited! It's going to be a massive upgrade from our ancient one. This one will be completely enclosed with an actual floor, windows and a roof! It'll also have a heat lamp for the winter months. I literally can't wait.

I guess that's all for now, here are the pics:

My mom's dog, Ella. She's the chunkiest and sweetest girl. Although she looks pretty crazy here.

Late night McDonald's mobile orders for the win. Their americanos are so freaking good.

This is a dozen roses from Walmart. Very beautiful, very small. I was going to get these for my aunt, but couldn't justify the $16 that they cost compared to the size. Such a ripoff.

Here's some of the lumber and siding for the new chicken coup!

My lemon sprouts continue to grow by the day!

Heart of glass...

I can't believe my little brother is 18 today!! It seems like it was only yesterday when he used to spend his summers with us when he was just 10! Where the fuck did time go? Can someone please send me back to 2006 or 2007? I don't like this whole aging process that people are forced to do. Anyways, this Valentine's boy is finally an adult.. so to speak. He's still a baby in my eyes, whom I love dearly and would kill to see. It's been too long!

Okay, next subject!

You know the worst part about ordering things online? Waiting for them to arrive in the mail. LaVaughn ordered a bunch of cosmetics from E.L.F. (eyes lips face) a few days ago. That I'm not excited about, considering it's all hers and I like never wear makeup. I know, how modern of me. It's the little things I'm looking forward to. Like The Walking Dead season 3 and our mealworms.

We also ordered our first Mayday food bar. I'm BEYOND excited to try it! We just ordered one of the 400 calorie (2 servings) ones. If they're decent, which people say they are, then we're going to order a couple of the 3600 calorie (3 day) ones. I'm sure I'll post all about it when we get it. Which will probably be tomorrow, when I'm at work. Sigh...

I've been contemplating ordering that violin, but I'm just not sure how I feel about it. I mean, if I order any, it'll be that one, I'm just not sure if I want to drop $70 on a instrument that I've never played before. It's like, for example, spending $160 on those tablets of ours that haven't been touched since the first week we bought them. What a waste! Those things need to be sold somewhere.

Anyways, I just wish I had a violin teacher in my area that I could go to. I would LOVE to start lessons. If that were the case, then I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. I need advice from a violinist.

We had Kira out day before yesterday because her belly looked kind of lumpy and sure enough... she has two more joeys IP! These little guys are tiny, though. Like maybe a week old. So they should be April babies. I'm so excited! I can't wait to see what they have. I know it's pathetic, but I always get excited to see their joeys.

Speaking of joeys, Charli and Violet are both getting huge! Their joeys have about a month or so of stewing to do before they come OOP, time to start the nauseating task of waiting.

Well, I suppose that's all for now. I honestly don't have anything else to blog about. Not to mention, LaVaughn and I are going out to dinner with our aunt shortly. Until next time...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Some packages for the mail lady:

Some sets that were cut out yesterday that need to be sewn today:

Spastic plastic...

I figured I would go ahead and get first February blog out of the way while I'm doing nothing else. I'm not here to talk about Valentine's day or anything like that, I'm actually here to talk about gliders and baby chicks. I know, who would have thought that I, out of all the people in the world, would talk about gliders and baby chicks!

I'm sure most idiots out there start off their February blogs with The Walking Dead. Dude, we get it! All you see or hear anymore is how "The Walking Dead is anticipated more than Valentine's Day". I'm not even joking, that's all I hear and it makes me want to stab someone. I love The Walking Dead just as much -- if not more -- as everyone else. But enough is enough!

End rant.

I would like, if I may, to talk about the baby chicks. We took it upon ourselves to sex all the baby chicks yesterday and I don't think we did too bad. If our calculations are correct, we have 6 hens and one rooster! Are we 100% sure about this? Sure, why not. It never hurts to dream.

The fact that 90% of our baby chicks ended up being hens makes me think that our sexing practices aren't exactly up to code. I sure as hell want them to be, but no one can be sure until they get a little older. All these little guys should be laying by July or August, so get back with me then for the answers to this test. ;)

While were on the subject of chicks.. my aunt has a friend that may be getting us a few more baby chicks! She has chickens of her own and is planing on incubating some and selling us some. I believe the majority of her chicks are Rhode Island Reds, but I'm not 100%.

As much as I love all this chicken talk, it's really making me long for baby ducks and geese. I so badly want a few baby ducks and a couple geese. I suppose I'll have to wait until spring and get them locally...

Now for the glider talk. I took well over 20 pictures of Lilah playing with a milk ring last night. She wasn't doing anything special - just sitting there, chewing on a milk ring. I found it unbelievably cute and couldn't stop snapping pictures. I did manage to slim it down from 28 pictures to 14. I have a serious illness when it comes to taking photos.

While I'm thinking of it.. there's 96.3% chance that LaVaughn and I are going to watch Texas Chainsaw tonight. It all depends on how things go and how fast they are, but I really stoked to see this movie! I've yet to see a Chainsaw Massacre that I didn't like.

I believe I've said what I had to say. I need coffee, stat! I also need to go shower, so on that note...

Love & Peace

Prepare for Sugar Glider cuteness!

I'm noticing a pattern here...

Is is just me or is every other blog of mine about sugar gliders or something pertaining to sugar gliders? Like today for example, 16 of the 20 pictures I have to share are of sugar gliders. It's usually that way with every other paragraph as well...

Anyway, LaVaughn managed to get some really, really cute pictures of... guess who... Deagol (sugar glider) last night! I also managed to get some really cute pictures of Violet. I also got a video of Violet cleaning herself, which is too cute for words. So be sure to check those bad boys out at the bottom.

In NON-animal news, I have a movie to talk about. Not sure if you've heard of The Inn Keepers or not, but it was a pretty good little ghostly movie. It's not like "edge of your seat" horrifying or anything, but it definitely has it's scary moments. The beginning is a little draggy, but it makes up for it in the end. It stars The Last House On The Left actress, Sara Paxton, whom I like. So... if you have nothing better to watch, you should check it out. Remember, it's The Inn Keepers!

I suppose that's all I can drain out of myself at the moment. Until next time... yadda, yadda, yadda.

Love & Peace
