Saying goodbye to your manhood...

I called last week and scheduled an appointment for Loras to be neutered. His mom's joey is OOP now and she'll most likely be going into heat soon, so he NEEDED to be neutered as soon as possible.

LaVaughn had a nail salon appointment at the same time as his neuter, so I dropped her off and went to the vet on my own. Not fun, LaVaughn, not fun. Luckily everything went well and he's doing just fine. Hopefully next week we can get Nubbins neutered!

In POP! news, our Box Lunch Exclusive Regina arrived today. I love her!! She's quickly becoming one of my most favorite POPS! and I have a lot of favorites. Now all we need is the Hook with both hands (and a replacement Hook) and we'll have the whole set! Aside from the Comic Con Regina, but she's $200, so no thanks.

I guess that's all for now. Just a quick update on the happenings. We're off to the vet with the girls tomorrow for a check up and lab work. Wish us luck!

Here are some pics from today:

Lets whine about Wednesday...

I had so much on my mind last night. I couldn't stop thinking about what I wanted to do today, which I hate! Surprisingly enough, I accomplished maybe 62% of the stuff I wanted to do.

I was able to clean the rat cage -- which is a daily thing anymore, clean the drop trays, do some laundry, take pictures of Norman, and sew. I wanted to sew more than what I did, but one cage set is enough for now, right?? After all, I do have Friday to sew some more. I just hope I'm able to because we are SO far behind on sewing Laci's cage sets.

I also spent some time with the ducks today when I let the chickens out to free roam. I can't believe how much they've changed in a month, it's unreal! Everyone had progressed into adulthood very nicely, which allowed me to sex everyone! I'm happy to say that we have 10 hens and 7 drakes! Our drake number is a tad high, but I'm not parting with any of these boys, I just can't.

Oh, I almost forgot! I won series 5 of The Walking Dead Pop! Funko last week on ebay for just over $40 -- I know it sounds pricey, but believe me, it's a steal! They arrived yesterday while I was at work, of course. My god, they're awesome!! We already have series 1 and 2, now we just need 3 and 4 to complete our collection. They're coming out with a new set within the next few weeks, so we really, really need to get caught up! I need to start sewing, lol.

We're getting Jeremy and Boone neutered tomorrow evening, which I'm extremely nervous about! Ugh, I hate neuters. Jeremy will be leaving us within the next couple weeks and Boone, well Chloe and Boone are retiring as much as I hate to admit it. The glider market just isn't what it used to be, especially for leus and plats, so it's for the best. Besides, they were mating a few days ago, so I'm sure they'll give us one more set of babies. And have I mentioned that we're probably keeping Norman?

I guess that's all for now. I was going to post Angie's family pictures today, but I think I'll make a special post just for those pictures. I have them sorted, edited, and tagged via Photoshop, which I had to install on the new computer Monday. I'm seriously lost without it. So until then...

Wasted days and wasted nights...

LaVaughn and I had to go to Fredericktown today so that she could stop by the DMV. I also wanted to go to Walmart and pick up some coffee creamer -- they don't have what I want here, so Fredericktown is the only place to get it. We also took Boone and Jeremy with us so that we could get them neutered if the vet had time.

Well to start things off, the DMV was closed today. Don't you think they could have mentioned that last Wed. when we were there and the last told us to come back THIS Wed.? I called and apparently they're having their annual troopers meeting. Completely ridiculous! This was the main reason we went in the first place!

While LaVaughn was trying to get in touch with someone, I called the vet and asked if they could squeeze in a couple neuters today. That was a big no! It was a long shot, but they're normally slow in the middle of the week.

We're super agitated at this point, so we decide to head over to Walmart to let off some steam. I get out of the car, fix my hair and reach in the backseat to get my purse... IT WASN'T THERE!! I left my damn purse at home! So I had no money and no ID!

We both said "Fuck this day, lets just go home!".

That's really all I had to share. I still can't believe we drove all the way to Fredericktown, got out at the DMV and drove back. A completely, 100% wasted trip. That is all...

These are the only pictures I took today:

Sugar glider gathering...

I told you it would be a while before my next blog. I honestly can't remember if I blogged on Sunday or Monday -- it's been a few days no matter which it was.

Today we ventured to Fredericktown to get Marcus (now Momo) neutered and meet Millie with Viktor (now Abu). It was a anxious filled sad day. I was a nervous wreck at the vets office. It took her a little longer than it normally does to finish his neuter, but luckily everything went fine and he's doing really well (knock wood). We also picked Pip some more medicine up for his teeth.

We went to Walmart shortly after to grab a few things and wait for Millie. She showed up about 30 minutes later, than we stood in the pet isle of Walmart, talking and playing with the joeys. She also put a deposit down on Wanda, our awesome ringtail girl. She's wanted her since before she came OOP, but she never said yes or no. She's a gorgeous and sweet glider, I knew she would love her once she saw her in person.

She also had her boyfriend with her, who stood off to the side like an innocent voyer. He was super nice -- apparently a big Walking Dead fan as well. The reason I know this is because he commented on the pair of Walking Dead pants that I had in the cart.

We stood and chatted for close to an hour before we parted ways. It was an awkward encounter, due to the fact that the assoiates kept eyeballing us the entire time. I just knew we were going to get ran out, but we didn't. We left after they did, grabbed a bite to eat and headed home.

As of right now I'm blogging and trying to play the Sims. I'm finding that semi difficult, mainly because my sim just got abducted by an alien and appears to be carrying said aliens bastard child. Sigh... Only something like this would happen to me. LaVaughn never has anything out of the ordinary happen to her sims. I'm finishing up anyways, it's almost time for OITNB or GTA, not sure which yet. Until next time...

Love this! You can really see how well the bokeh works on the 50MM.

Now for some of the ducks and fully grown ducklings:

This is the coolest looking duck we own.
